I can't believe how well Destiny has stuck the landing in the Final Shape, they did SO MANY THINGS RIGHT.
Prismatic is incredibly fun, I can't stop thinking up new builds with it. The strong character driven story has only gotten STRONGER. So much of what they've been building up over the past few years has paid off and I am a crying mess.

Bungie cooked and Keith David did so well as Zavala
YES. Keith David was INCREDIBLE as Zavala. I loved that he didn't try to imitate Lance's delivery and still did the character justice.
He made Zavala feel older, more world-weary - which I'd say was a perfect fit for his role in this storyline.
there were a few moments where in my mind he started sounding uncannily like Osiris, but other than that he was perfect.
Not gonna lie, I shed some tears when Ghost says "this is where I found you" because I a sudden rush of nostalgia from when I first played D1 on Midnight release with my friends all those years ago.
Thank you Terra for this series! As a vet watching you go from a KinderGuardian fellow lore enthusiast to a true blue full Guardian was a ball. I look forward to seeing you out in the wild and into the future with the rest of us! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I was an emotional wreck in the final moments of this campaign, Destiny has been my life for the past 6 months, and it was all so worth it. I've had so many great moments with friends and have LOVED getting invested in the story and sharing my experience.

Terra I needed this! I've watched every reaction and after playing the campaign I couldn't wait to see what you'd think. What a journey
also you should totally go do the Dual Destinies mission for the exotic class item if you haven't already. It's got a couple of... *interesting* revelations, but you will need a partner - one single partner - to even start it.
54:55 - that sidearm is part of a frame family introduced with the Warlord's Ruin dungeon from last season, the Rocket-Assisted Sidearm. Their common traits are using Special ammo and hitting like a truck.
"Keeping Expectations low" well this just blew everyone away. I love it.
My favourite things is not the big things (and while that is insane, I prefer other thing) but small things like new creative exotics, guns and other stuff.
For example a small buff to offensive Bullwark, the new portable Failsafe Hazardous Propulsion (Failsafe is best gurl, and the exo is really fun too). Then new stuff like the new echo weapons, some buff to old weapons and all that. While the big stuff and Meta is really amazing, I love that bungie focused on stuff not everybody will like, but a small section will enjoy a lot. Also a lot of little details on designs, envoirement, music, speech patterns and so on. This is why I love this game so much and why it means so much to all of us.
This truely was a love letter to Destiny and Us.

The best part about cayde and ikora's reunion, that really messed with me, was back in season of the haunted, in lore, ikora was tormented by a nightmare of Cayde, and was excused from excusing her nightmare by Eris, who knew there was nothing that ikora could blame herself for, regarding Cayde and his death. Their reunion in the traveler must've been so horribly distressing before the relief kicked in.

i streamed the campaign in two streams on my twitch, i loved every moment of this story, we've came so far since 2014. i loved the final shape and its story, emotional moment etc.

I don't remember if it's touched on in the story of TFS, but Eramis is gone. After Rasputin sacrificed himself to stop the Warsats, Eramis abandoned the Sol System. She's gone into deep space, seeking to reunite with her mate, Athrys. House Salvation isn't working under her anymore.

Which is pretty weird since normally the Hidden would keep tabs on a VIP like Eramis and not inform the Vanguard and subsequent inform us by proxy.

I have fully played this campaign twice. I have watched 8 other people's reactions and it still hits hard. Bungie did it. This was immaculate story telling and gameplay fused together like prismatic fuses Light and Dark.

I think the scene with the astronaut is supposed to be us guardians in a vision the traveler was showing.
And the bird is supposed to be the traveler, the witness disrupting that vision.
lots of tears throughout this campaign. Some of the best writing Bungie have ever accomplished, phenomenal voice acting, incredible cutscenes. IMO....best story theyve ever made; beating out forsaken and taken king.
The thing is, the Veil kinda is already combined with the Traveler, just forced by the Witness. The Traveler is now introduced to darkness. It's not that bad, just that the Witness corrupted the Traveler with both light and dark.

A great line! Its the witness using empathy. Offering to take Crows self-imposed burden of worth (Witness claims Crow believes that his capacity for pain is purpose and worth, i.e. his suffering is of value).

I went through all that in day one, suspicious I missed the back-to-back zavala cutscenes too, because the same exact thing happened to me after I finished the mission, but I continued anyway and missed all of the context the first time around, only saw it later when I was going through on alts. Also like a bunch of other people have said, basically just looked at this channel every day to see if there was a video~

day 1 may have been hell thanks to the servers dying, but it was WELL worth it! i said in a clan server, but i can say, this is desiny's endwalker and that is not a bad thing! this is possibly bungie's best work and prismatic is such a great new toy to play with, i do wish there were a few more options, especially since i played hunter, but other than that, i'm still having fun.
the call, first off, fantastic name for a gun, secondly only the second of it's only the second of a new archetype of sidearm that i love! and i'm a guy who generally doesn't like side arms, save for the rocket assisted frame and forerunner, because that things a hand cannon disguised as a sidearm and i love it for it. the other guns you get from the pale heart are actually pretty good too, but i'll let you experiment with them once you get them, happy to see you still doing this, can't wait to see your reaction to the rest of the game and have fun!
edit: i forgot to mention keith david's performance as zavala! EF!! but yeah, keith david's zavala is REALLY good in this, he managed to capture the sad and tired nature of zavala, but then again everyone is giving their all in the final shape and i am all for it!

I don't think Well of Radiance was nerfed because of Song of Flame. In order to receive the effects of both supers you'd still need two Warlocks and most people primarily play solo unless they actively go out of their way to play stuff with other people. Song of Flame also isn't incredible for single target damage and Well of Radiance requires you to stay in the same spot. The reason why Well of Radiance was nerfed is because Bungie didn't like the idea of an healing super actually doing what it is suppose to do.

What’s the strand sidearm u we’re using at the beginning and how do u get it
It's called The Final Warning, you get it from the pouka pond in Neomuna after you get enough strand meditations to unlock all strand abilities! (I absolutely love it and it's my favorite primary in the game haha)
I initially missed the cutscene where you meet cayde because of the servers
The Day 1 server problems were SCARY. I would have missed two huge cutscenes if I didn't look them up.

Legend campaign was a campain in my ass, and it didn’t help that I had no clue the psion bosses took decreased damage from explosives.

I've been pushing myself to try different armor pieces but the Lightkin Robes are just so good. 😫

It was a bummer but it actually didn't pull from my high of the story much at all. It was all just so good I was forgiving the disconnects. 🤣
yep, the only thing bungie still doesn't explain is the origin of the traveler and of the Veil, and I don't know why..we got answers about the Witness and its civilazation, why not about the traveler...

@@acgearsandarms1343 I mean, they should...this was the end of the saga, I expected more backstory on the traveler, but they only explained what power the Traveler has and why it doesn't speak us directly, but we don't know a single thing about its origins, why the traveler and the veil separated themselves, or the origins of the veil..
@@salvatoreruggiero6551 I have a good idea based on Veil Containment logs and deeper lore so we don’t really have “no information” on its origin. Sure it’s not complete or concrete, but it’s there. The Traveler is older than most of the known universe. Could we even comprehend its origins? I think it’s okay to not have answers on some things. And trust me, I like learning lore and finding everything I can, but some things can’t or shouldn’t be answered. Mystery is part of the intrigue.
@@acgearsandarms1343 I listened to those logs when they came out last year, but I don't remember them hinting at the origins of the Veil though. Anyways, I agree with you about mistery, but after 10 years, i expected finally some answers about the backstory of the Traveler. This is my only super-little complain about the final shape, cause for everything else, it is amazing!
