Yep, there was even an interaction between Ikora and Luzaku about a Lightbearer Acolyte sharing the same name, apparently Luzaku was changed when she crossed the threshold.
The original destiny music in that last scene had me in SHAMBLES. 10 years I've played this game and every second was worth it I don't often cry at media but this damn near had me tearing up
Same the d1 music wrecked me. Metal Gear Solid 4 was the last game o was emotional over Mass Effect didn’t stick the landing or would’ve there too but I was too pissed 😂. This was amazing. I was worried for the future of this game but I’m excited now seeing the episodes and what I think is coming with the heresy episode.
Fr just from playing from day one in d1 and then beating the final shape and concluding the light and darkness saga was just a crazy trip. And im glad to have played it through, destiny truly is one of my favorite games.
Quick correction; Luzaku didn’t die in the Traveler and then become a lightbearer, she’s been one for some time and we’ve known of her existence since Witch Queen (and she’s always been different; she once killed a guardian back in Sav’s throne world and went against her Ghosts commands and allowed the slain guardians ghost to escape) The implication is that she stowed away on one of the pyramid ships that initially went with the Witness in Lightfall and has been there since, helping protect the Traveler
Recent info reveals she was an Acolyte and upon reaching the threshold into the Pale Heart became a Wizard. If you redo the Lost Sector and get Ikora on comms, Luzaku will elaborate.
@@atheontimesconflux7006 the Luzaku one in particular has a BUNCH, listing just the one's I've found, there are conversations with, Ghost, Crow, Ikora, Caiatl, Mithrax and Mara, I'm sure there are probably more; it gives me a reason re-run the lost sector at least lol.

Seeing the children play together in that cut scene made me smile, how far we have become, how much we lost.. but in the end, the allies and friends we gained, i loved that story.
1:01:50 that statue is a fusion of a cabal war beast and Hiraks, the Mindbender from the Forsaken dlc. That realization blew my mind when I put it together the first time.
During the last cut scene with our ghost, I honestly felt like Zavala… ANGRY, at the fact we gave everything and the Traveler was still quiet, silenced, unmoved even after we begged for our loved one.
When Ghost gets revived by cayde, he says "there you are", this to me sounds like he was in the place of light cayde was in before crow brought him back, and that he was looking for us for the brief time he was in there
Seeing your journey and reactions was amazing, thank you for getting involved in such an amazing game, I also saw you played with BravoBecca, since no comments on her last video, can you tell her thanks from everyone who watches as well, both you guys have amazing content
So luzaku was first mentioned in the Lucent Tales lore book back from Witch Queen. She killed a guardian of humanity and when her urged her to kill its ghost she refused, angering her Ghost but foreshadowing that we could potentially have Hive Guardian allies.
Fun fact: the music that plays in the cutscene with lampions is called "The Hope (Arrival)" and is a part of the oldest Destiny soundtrack: "Music of the Spheres". Also Paul's McCartney song "Hope For The Future" is included in that music piece. Coincidently (or not) the length of that song matches length of the cutscene that plays after. I recommend playing this music over it, because it fits very well.

Woooo, I gotta say I was super hype about final shape but I saw moments like "Terra is gonna like that" you've made this a cool kinda book end to the dlc ❤
The Saga of Light and Dark has come to an end. There are many continuing threads, several laid by the “Last Days” missions. I don’t know what you’ll do next, but thank you for letting us see your journey through this world we love.
The Axe Crow had during the escape cutscene was Saladin’s from season of the risen. Saladin left it for him in the helm after he took Caital’s punishment in Crow’s stead.
You know, I have a love/hate relationship with Destiny. But I am so happy that they let the Dev's take the lead on this and cook. This expansion has been so insanely good and after 10 years, I was a teary mess.
Six months what about 10 years and all the friendships that were forged along the way and that still going strong the game is full of such wonderful memories of the times spent with friends that completely overshadow the tough times that came along with the ride I don’t have a single regret about this journey it was worth every single moment spent in the game
It was a normal Hive sword. Oryx's sword was destroyed in the end of The Taken King campaign and its core was given to use to make Raze Lighter (or Dark Drinker/Bolt-Caster). Which Shaxx then stole from us sometime before the Red War apparently (I will forever be salty about that).
Just wanted to say I absolutely loved your reaction. Watching you go through it made me happier than even when I played it you were just so entertaining to and absorbed in, it felt so refreshing, great work and glad you enjoyed the story 🥹
When Saladin took responsibility for Crow seasons earlier and became Valus Forge, he left Crow one of his pendants and an axe. Definitely worth going back and listening to the radio transmissions from that season. (I remember that one being left out of the video you reacted to for that season). The storytelling there is SO GOOD, but you can say that about most of destiny.
Fun???? Ergo Sum fact. Back when we saved Saint and saw our own grave in the corridors of time , there was a sword on top of our grave. Ergo Sum looks almost exactly like that sword, but it has a small chip in Ergo that looks like it was repair between now and our own deaths.
Fun Fact: if you are a Hunter you get some Unique Dialogue in the Campaign. Such as Crow saying "The Three best Hunters in Sol" instead of "The Two best Hunters in Sol". or after Wild Card, Cayde says "Hey good job avoiding the Vanguard Gig, That's why you're one of my Favorites."
All the comments about his haircut finally got to Crow, lol. But seriously, it’s been an honor to watch you go through this Destiny journey! Thanks for sharing it with the rest of us!!
*You're my favorite. . . . . . Don't ever forget that :)* That made me cray man. was here since D1 alpha. glad to be here to witness the end. Love you all.
You know the ending was sad enough as it was but after starting this journey 10 years ago nothing could have made me cry more than the addition of all those original D1 songs. It’s so weird how the music is able to deliver such overwhelming nostalgia that it just makes me emotional whenever I hear it. I really couldn’t have asked for a better ending. Part of me wishes this would have been the ending of d2 but I’m still excited for the episodes and future journeys
Luzaku already was a guardian before entering the Traveler, yet might have been an Acolyte (?) before turning into a wizard. A lore book speaks of her sparing a ghost and her own makes some weird comments about it. Ingame when you repeat this lost sector you can get dialogue of her talking about this to Ikora I think. There is talk about her being an Acolyte Also "What can be destroyed must be destroyed" is not necesairly only the Sword logic. While the Sword Logic has it as a big part of it, the Cabal actually also have this mentality (or at least before Caiatl). There it's "Whatever you can do you have to" so if you can conquer something, you have the right to do it and are obligated to do so.
Fun thing about the Still Hunt mission with the last dialogue from Cayde before the mission ends, if you're a hunter he says "you're my favorite" instead of "you're one of my favorites, top three"
This has been such a fun journey to go on with you. I've been in and out of playing Destiny in the last few years and watching your reactions reminded me of so many things I love about this game! PS: I know you're gonna love the Episode Echoes business and can't wait to see your reactions to that when you get to it!
The first time I did Excision, before everyone went to the room with the statues, I had actually died, so I wasn't ported to that room. IT WAS JUST ME AND THE WITNESS. I shouted "I'M RIGHT HERE! COME GET ME!!" God, that mission is absolutely insane, it's like Destiny's version of Avengers Endgame.
Thank you for loving the Destiny Saga like us older Guardians from D1 do. This game will forever be a part of me. 15+ yr Crayon eater since D1. Whether We wanted it or Not, R.I.P Lance Reddick. Grãtiãs vōbĩs agimus.
I was waiting for this upload... You're just as much a mess as I was when I thought I lost my Ghost. lol Ten years behind this world... EVERYTHING hit. From the D1 music to the character progression to the final mission... I ran with the first person I ever played with, back when Destiny first released. They came back just for this, and the final cutscene of us sitting on the H.E.L.M. was so perfect, I made it my PS5 background. We've come a long way, and nothing could have reprised it better than this expansion.
Amazing job Terra, been a thrill watching you react! I loved beccas reactions too but saw she did her last one 🙃. I hope you will continue your journey!
you wanna know what's crazy to think about after going through the *absolute masterpiece* that was The Final Shape campaign, the raid, post campaign story stuff, and Excision mission? where the community's morale was in the year leading up to this DLCs release. In the year leading up to TFS, our expectations were in the gutter. after the massive flop that was Lightfall, the overall community had almost no confidence that bungie could stick the landing with the Light and Darkness saga. That they could release a great character driven story and tie up enough loose ends to bring a satisfying end to the last decade of this game. But by god they did it, the mad lads and lasses managed to pull the landing gear out of their asses and land this thing while pulling a sick 360-no-scope drift up to the gate. Truly Bravo bungie.
@Zenobiwan I have seen a mix of optimism and negativity all throughout my coverage of Destiny's story. I'm SO glad The Final Shape delivered in the ways that it did because I think a lot of the community REALLY needed it. I've noticed a lingering air of doom and gloom surrounding the current episodic content, but I have high hopes for Destiny's future! I still play almost every day and can't wait to see where the story goes.
I feel like when they were all running away and getting transmated up, they would keep their momentum and just all crash into each other on the other end
aaaand yep, terra got to the part i was expecting him to break down, but i don't blame him cuz that was such a POWERFUL scene, whatever comes will won't be as threatening as the witness was, but it will try and take it's place, nezarec can potentially return, or perhaps the winnower can be the next big threat or maybe for a good while it'll just be minor threats, like eramis or xivu arath, since they are still out there planning to kill us, still though if bungie keeps this writing and gameplay quality in their next... whatever they have planned, then i am all for it!
I have a lot of inquiries about the whole entirety of the continuation of the story including the side chapters that grow along side the main story. However as I said I do have my own personal speculative theories based on all the evidence that was presented to us throughout and when you start piecing together everything we've known throughout the years as we played through the game's activities and other in game contents through DLC's and or dungeons and or raids or otherwise that is available to players planets areas audio pieces lore books and other pieces from character narration opinions on the actions our guardian took throughout different situations we faced. I think once our community starts to dot all the lines together and once we collect all the things from the past in destiny 2's beginning story to now I think it all ultimately connects together in a plotted line. the story of the universe still has a long ways to go but I cannot wait to see what actual accurate speculative theories our community comes up with based on everything we have been told by allies of the light and the followers of the darkness. I do highly suggest recommend sometime in the near future for you to read through every single collectable lore book entry that are unlockable in game. Once you've read through them all and collected armor pieces and weapons that include lore pieces too it'll all start to come together I believe in that. Though we will have to see what comes next for us and our ghosts in terms of our growth and our relationship that we have with our allies My theory assumption is that the witness is the greatest form of temptation a promise of fulfilling a promise but with false swearing a false oath seeking to place false hope in our heart and mind wanting to poise us with greed wanting us to seek what we want most but poising us with a tempting invitation to lust, greed, power the witness like the devil of hell in religious scriptures is said to tempt people's greatest wants knowing seeing past the human mind and being able to seep into us promising to fulfill the things we want the most for ourselves so the witness claims to know us better than how we know ourselves to be but also whilst attempting to isolate us from positive forces like the allies in game it lies as easily as it breathes the witness tries to stray us from the straight path of the light wanting us to seek the opposite wanting the guardian to seek temptation to lust for greatness the way it lies telling us "we'll provide you the greatness the power the traveler cannot provide you" And like the devil like lucifer it seeks to destroy whatever positive reinforcement that we may have wanting to astray us from positive influences that oppose it's purpose ideals wanting us to seek the true powerful entropy wanting us to seek darkness to give ourselves like how in the biblical scriptures the devil tempts quoting "give your soul for I shall promise you everything you've ever wanted the darkness once you've chosen to give yourself to me you shall finally be free forever from pain give into me I promise you I will be and I am the means to the end of suffering you shall gain your freedom your salvation I will fulfill your deepest wishes"
Just remember that every player now has a bit of Cayde's light in our ghost, it's almost like he's never left us again. If warlocks start shooting real GG's (not still hunt ones) we'll know it's Cayde's doing :P Principal Skinner : "Oh relax kids, I've got a gut feeling Cayde's around here somewhere hahahahaha, after all isn't there a little Cayde in all of us? hahahaha... hahaha, in fact, you might even say we just ate Cayde, and he's in our stomachs... right now! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!... Wait, scratch that one."
side note: luzaku was already in a lore book in witch queen, her ghost yelled at her for not killing a guardian

where the community's morale was in the year leading up to this DLCs release.
Though we will have to see what comes next for us and our ghosts in terms of our growth and our relationship that we have with our allies
My theory assumption is that the witness is the greatest form of temptation a promise of fulfilling a promise but with false swearing a false oath seeking to place false hope in our heart and mind wanting to poise us with greed wanting us to seek what we want most but poising us with a tempting invitation to lust, greed, power the witness like the devil of hell in religious scriptures is said to tempt people's greatest wants knowing seeing past the human mind and being able to seep into us promising to fulfill the things we want the most for ourselves so the witness claims to know us better than how we know ourselves to be but also whilst attempting to isolate us from positive forces like the allies in game it lies as easily as it breathes the witness tries to stray us from the straight path of the light wanting us to seek the opposite wanting the guardian to seek temptation to lust for greatness the way it lies telling us "we'll provide you the greatness the power the traveler cannot provide you" And like the devil like lucifer it seeks to destroy whatever positive reinforcement that we may have wanting to astray us from positive influences that oppose it's purpose ideals wanting us to seek the true powerful entropy wanting us to seek darkness to give ourselves like how in the biblical scriptures the devil tempts quoting "give your soul for I shall promise you everything you've ever wanted the darkness once you've chosen to give yourself to me you shall finally be free forever from pain give into me I promise you I will be and I am the means to the end of suffering you shall gain your freedom your salvation I will fulfill your deepest wishes"
Yes!! Finally! Let’s go!!!

Have you listened to the radio afterwards, by Ghost in the Lost City?
1:03:25 made me laugh harder than it should’ve
How long have you been playing destiny? Since D1?
I wasn't ready 😢
Just remember that every player now has a bit of Cayde's light in our ghost, it's almost like he's never left us again.
If warlocks start shooting real GG's (not still hunt ones) we'll know it's Cayde's doing :P
Principal Skinner : "Oh relax kids, I've got a gut feeling Cayde's around here somewhere hahahahaha, after all isn't there a little Cayde in all of us? hahahaha... hahaha, in fact, you might even say we just ate Cayde, and he's in our stomachs... right now! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!... Wait, scratch that one."
