My best guess is either one of the safety sensors like the kickstand sensor was broken on that jump. Or a wire came loose on the contrller/motor but looks like you were already checking that. But when you diagnose the problem please make a video or let us know what it was and how you fixed it! Always like to know more about the bike.
@@Jackrichardsvids For sure. All of the sensors (kickstand, tip over, brakes) are removed off this bike so it unfortunately isn't that. We'll do an update when we find out!
@SHREDDING IT The front fender seems to be the biggest complaint of the kits style so far. It's secured by 4 zip-ties so pretty simple to remove if you wanted to run something else on the front.
For motocross-people this is a really necessary update. without that you cannot apply many of your usual driving-techniques because you need that knee-grip-area. the knee-grip also helps to relax your arms. I hope my kit arrives soon and that it makes the bike feel more MX.
It takes some mods, I'm running an ebmx battery, I'm not sure how well it will hold up to riding with the bigger battery as they only leave 1/5th of an inch for bigger batteries. There is clearly a gap where it should be because the top of the cover is pressing on the battery.
That bike looks like a Stealth on two wheels! What I like about the Sur ron is that it can be modular and almost shape shifting. Now that I've tried this bike I really don't think i will ever go back to conventional motorcycles - it's just the weight factor of the Sur ron or lack of, that i really love about this e bike
@J J It's roughly what you'd expect from an MX bike. Not overly plush and soft but much more comfortable than sitting on the plastic battery compartment in corners! I probably stand 80% of the time when riding anyways.
Had the same thing happen after a water crossing had to be towed by my buddy turned out to be a brake sensor from the lever not fully retracting. For some unknown reason ,sometimes the bike doesn’t come on when I turn the key on ...have to turn key on and off a few times before bike works, just something easy to try.
I have the same problem right now. That's how I came across this video, looking for a solution. This appears to be a common problem. I wonder if anyone has definitively found the true problem and the solution.
Very curious if it fits the EBMX 53ah 60v. I’d buy a kit today if it did. Where are you going to post results of your different battery fitment tests, another video? Or some other platform?
Not without mods, and then it's a bit tight still like I'm not sure how well it will hold up to riding, to top cover is on the top of the battery and pressing down pretty hard and there's still a bit of a gap.
