@@EBMXtreme, I can help with that if Tucker is game. I have an EXT Arma MX from CCW that is on a Sur Ron with Fox 40's except 60v 51ah Chi and 60v 63ah, EMB BAC4000 12Kw, CCW 21" Starcross, and 18" Woody with Tubliss. I ride Croom most every weekend and could get up there on a week day with a bit of notice. Tucker let me know if you want to rip my setup some time. The battery at 3kWHr is getting pretty close to what I think will be the point where e-bikes begin to threaten engine powered bikes off-road. I think 4kWHr will be the point where we no longer need an engine as the range and power can be competitive to engine powered bikes. At present 4kWHr is impractical, not impossible but impractical given the size and weight (mass) of the battery, but as battery technology evolves to improve capacity we could see 4kWHr become practical in a few years. The stock Sur Ron X is about 50kg (110 pounds) but when you upgrade the forks and shocks and battery and controller you're going to be closer to 60kg (132 pound) all up which would still be much lighter than most engine powered bikes larger than 90cc or so. For me, an ideal package would be about 4kWHr battery of about 120V, a 5-speed transmission and a motor capable of sustained 5kW with peaks to 15kW or more. A higher voltage battery would b permit a higher revving motor and along with a 5-speed gearbox such a bike should be killer at low speed hill climbs as well as high speed cruising.
Great content as always Tucker 👍 I would love to know what the power settings were for the controller on the 2 settings you used? How many kW and max ah etc. I hope you get to do a full test, would love to see lap time comparisons especially against the gas bike...
You finally get to ride something similar to, albeit a more refined version of the monster Surron that I built up. Pretty crazy, right? I ended up toning it way down for tight mountain trails though. Nice vid, Tucker!
Yes the sand out their is Intense. Really wish I bought the new bac8000 before they sold out. I'll have to get in on the next batch I guess. I have a talaria sting
There’s a video out there where a guy opened a stock sur Ron motor in order to wire the leads from the new controller he put on directly to the coil in the motor. It’s a sweet video about the motor and I’ll link it if I can find it but it’s out there if you search around.

you did a sur ron xx vs ktm, now we need 72v vs ktm
this bike should do time laps vs the ktm bike

That GoPro stabilization on the whoops tho
Super excited about this build and your content is amazing as always thank you
I wonder if they will ever come factory with the 72V I want one but the 60v seems lacking coming from a dirtbike
That was a dope video! 👌 That 72v Sur Ron was hauling ass nicely! 😀
Ebmx does everything perfect for the sur Ron. The seat. The battery. The shock. It's all well done

We’d be into that CCW have both

Thats an ebmx 72v42ah i think. uses pouch cells so its shorter. Pretty sure it fits the stock lid or with some small extensions.
Ebmx battery fits in stock space
They send an extension clip with the battery. It takes about 1 minute to change. I run the EBMX 72v 42Ah battery.
EBMX now also has 72v 57AH that fits the stock lid with a mod
