One of the healthiest things you do in your house is having the windows open. I started a business this year to help people do a lot of the things you are doing. The biggest thing in my area in Florida making people sick are VOC’s in their home because they don’t get hardly any fresh air into their homes. 3 1/2 years ago my house made me sick from high VOC’s. In our very humid climate the prescription for that is to minimize the indoor pollution you are making and add fresh, filtered air and a sante fe dehumidifier. A portable window system with dehumidifier also work. Bottom line is we need fresh air to get the toxic load off our body. You’d be amazed how many homes here also have the garage air directly connected to the home’s air and so they have gasoline and chemicals in the body any time they’re home!!!

I use all of that stuff. Also make my own soap for heavy duty cleaning. Use borax for laundry. Wood ash from my fireplace helps to clean really dirty stuff like toilets. Don't use soap to wash my body or hair. Don't use toothpaste or deodorant. Haven't used any harsh cleaning agents since the 1990s. Stopped using a microwave in 1996. Still need to work on the EMF stuff more. Sometimes we turn off the electricity to our house or we go camping without solar gadgets or hookups just to get a break.

Wooden cutting boards went out of favor because they absorb liquid, and can hold bacteria.
Plastic cutting boards have drawbacks as well.
Will glass cutting boards be the next big thing?
He says Fuji apples are the only ones anyone should ever eat, and if you disagree, you are crazy.

Food-grade mineral oil is designed to be non-toxic and passes through the body without being absorbed or causing harm, so it won't bioaccumulate from incidental ingestion.
