I am so sorry but as a certified organic farmer, the facts about organic vs grass-fed should be understood. Grass fed cows do not actually have to be grass fed. They are typically fed, hay which is GMO seed, sprayed with chemicals that is growing with synthetic fertilizers. They also do not need to have a minimum amount of days to call it pasture. That term is completely unregulated (think major green washing!). Organic beef on the other hand has to be grazed a MINIMUM of 120 days a year on pasture. This means they aren't just feed their cows chemical hay in a feedlot and calling it "pasture raised" like a lot of "grass fed pasture raised" cows". They also can only us certified organic hay when not on pasture. No chemicals, synthetic fertilizers, or gmo's. As someone who is raising certified organic animals, please don't say the extra price isn't worth it just for a logo. Understand, it goes to paying farmers like us a little bit better price for raising a superior product.
This is the ONLY comment I can agree on. My Uncle has a catle farm, and knowing all of the information that you just stated,is why I'm so pickie about what kind of proteins I buy,bc I know it might be a few more dollars expensive, but I buy organic protein as much as I can,bc I know where the money is going, and how important it is for those that need it,especially during and after the pandemic. Costco has their grass fed grass frozen patties for under $5 per pound. I just buy a few packages and thaw them to use as ground beef or cook the burger if i want a burger.
Could be wrong but I think the difference between organic and not organic grass fed beef is the fact that organic grass fed the grass hasn’t been fed by any chemicals
Not really convinced all that beef is good for you. Why not consider eating more wild fish and wild game? Elk is way lower in fat than beef, and has about the same as far as vitamins / minerals / protein. The Tsimane tribe have the lowest athersclerosis levels so far in the world. And they only get about 11 grams of saturated fat in their diet per day. I'm not convinced Paul is on the right track with all the fat. Elk would give you just as good nutrition, with way less fat. The nutrition is in the flesh, not the fat. And wild fish is clearly a good choice, it's low in fat, and high in heart healthy oils. Just don't cook it on tallow / butter, go for some avocado or olive oil, and use just enough to cook it.
Also organic grass fed beef the cows arent given shots or sprayed with fly spray. Most non organic they are sprayed so the flies arent as bad on them during the hot summers. Also they are given shots to prevent certain diseases.

I live on only a third of an acre in the city and I have six hens and they're so much fun. They're not a labor-intensive pet either. The main expense is just feed which is about $28 for 40 lbs (organic).

1:08 when I first started learning more about nutrition, I would rely more on clinical trials and videos from influencers, but when I started learning about soil quality from the gardeners, that’s when my perspective changed. It goes back to getting to know where your food is coming from and how it’s grown. Cows can be pasture raised and grass fed, but the quality of the soil may not be that great for various reasons. What’s nice is that these days many farms that are selling their meats online for delivery can clarify the quality of what they sell. It’s a little easier to research.

It’s a psychological trick that the normal ground beef is more expensive. Everyone assumes the grass fed ground beef is more expensive like the steaks are, so they buy the regular stuff and Walmart makes more money from people thinking they are getting a deal because they don’t check the prices
This collab is everything! Thank you both for this. I follow you both and I shop mostly at Walmart so with this video I can make better decisions for me and my family. ❤🙌🏽
I usually order my Wal Mart groceries for delivery through the app. They do have very good options. My main items are Vital Farms pasteurized eggs, Organic Valley Whole Grassmilk, grass fed ground beef (I get 90% lean) and Old Croc smoked sharp cheddar (from grass fed cow milk). I used to buy that same Great Value frozen salmon, definitely passing on it next time.
As Bobby said look out for Walmart's yellow reduced stickers on the beef. The beef is still good but Mark down significantly and makes eating steak more affordable😊

Some months I go all out and buy nothing but organic, some months I do a combination, and some months sadly my budget only allows the basics. Thank u for going over ur opinions on the place where 95% of Americans do most of their grocery shopping lol Walmart for sure has some great options at reasonable prices, u just have to know what to look for. And like u mentioned, if u come upon a bit of a financial struggle at some moments, it's ok to buy the basic stuff there SOMETIMES. You're not gonna die if one week here and one week there u eat a carton of caged eggs. Just try to make it a rare event. As I said, sometimes my budget after paying all my other bills only allows me to buy the non organic stuff, but that's ok because I know the other 11 months of the year I did not have that.
6:27 = "tako" in Japanese simply means "octopus", with no sushi connotation; the word "takoyaki" for example simply means "grilled octopus" although they are served in the shape of a fried battered ball. "ika" means "squid" and "sake" means "salmon". And there's about 5 different words for tuna lol. Sorry Paul, my inner weeb got triggered. 😂
1:06 Have you both ever looked more closely into the conditions under which the animals are kept, beyond just their diet? Organic beef has the advantage of better animal husbandry and completely excludes cruel living conditions. This is mainly only guaranteed with grass fed meat when it comes from smaller, less profit oriented farms, unlike those from larger supermarket suppliers. So with grass fed organic beef, you get the benefits of both
If you take a look at the results of the study, you will see that fasting blood glucose, triglycerides and body weight all decreased, which clearly shows that honey had a positive impact on diabetics.
I've heard farmers who mock the idea of pasture raised. They claim that some farms just have to have a fenced area available for the chickens, but they can still keep the chickens inside all the time since nobody is really checking them. Thoughts?
Ive been doing carnivore basically the BBBE diet for about 6 months now and down 55 lbs, i basically do the 73/27 ground beef i buy the 10lb roll and patty 1/3lb burgers for the whole week, cook 6 eggs every morning in sweet cream butter and 4 pieces wright brand bacon, i personally dont do any other dairy or cheese as it affects my gut but i do use lmnt unflavored electrolyte packets in 1 litre of water daily

Really enjoyed your video with Bobby. You guys work well together. I hope you do more videos together. I also watched you over on Bobby’s channel.
It’s a psychological trick that the normal ground beef is more expensive. Everyone assumes the grass fed ground beef is more expensive like the steaks are, so they buy the regular stuff and Walmart makes more money from people thinking they are getting a deal because they don’t check the prices
Grass fed tastes worse, less people buy it. Most people don't care about the theorized health implications of grass vs grain fed.
Good to see you both working together!
Wpuld lobe to see a costco walk through with you two.
Bobby and Dr. Berg did one
This collab is everything! Thank you both for this. I follow you both and I shop mostly at Walmart so with this video I can make better decisions for me and my family. ❤🙌🏽
Awesome collaboration
I usually order my Wal Mart groceries for delivery through the app. They do have very good options. My main items are Vital Farms pasteurized eggs, Organic Valley Whole Grassmilk, grass fed ground beef (I get 90% lean) and Old Croc smoked sharp cheddar (from grass fed cow milk). I used to buy that same Great Value frozen salmon, definitely passing on it next time.
Do an Asian market please, they don't shy away from less common cuts of meat.
As Bobby said look out for Walmart's yellow reduced stickers on the beef. The beef is still good but Mark down significantly and makes eating steak more affordable😊
Cool that they did this episode together a great team!
Im a guy. I went shopping once with a male coworker. Everyone thought we were a couple.
You could walk into a biker bar that sold maga merch, guns and ammo, and tractor parts with Bobby and buy a little of everything and everyone there would still swear the same thing.
Anything goes these days so no one probably cared. 😂
The Army vet part of me would have played into it
@ILikeChristmasDecember25
Lmao! Thank you for your service sir!
Most grocery stores in Ontario (Canada) where I live carry organic bananas, mangoes, avocados, strawberries, and grapes
My fav and my husbands fav collaborating?! We are way too excited about this lol
If you want to know the difference caused by the grassfed designation, ask a small operation beef cattle farmer. It’s a huge difference.
I’m able to buy organic bananas, apples, strawberries, blueberries, as well as cucumbers at Walmart
Aldi has grass fed ground beef for 3.99 85/15. I think the Aldi one is organic as well.
Can you say for 100% that grass fed beef isn’t given antibiotics? I thought that only was guaranteed buying organic
They typically have no need for antibiotics when on a grass fed diet. Its less acidic and there’s minimal presence of harmful bacteria
Had no idea you two were friends! Idk why but I’m so stoked!! lol best of the best dropping true knowledge and saving us cheese!! Love it guys keep it up!!! 👌🏽👌🏽
18:35 I guess they are cheaper since you only get 10 that aren't cracked.🥚
yeah, those ones definitely got put right back 😂
80/20 standard in UK .. all supermarkets. Also, 95/5 and 85/15 ..
Paul finally got out of Costa Rica?🤣
Some months I go all out and buy nothing but organic, some months I do a combination, and some months sadly my budget only allows the basics.
Thank u for going over ur opinions on the place where 95% of Americans do most of their grocery shopping lol
Walmart for sure has some great options at reasonable prices, u just have to know what to look for.
Y’all forgot to mention Walmart has 100% Grass Fed Ground Bison❗️
You guys should get together more often! This was awesome!
great videos bobby, i enjoy the collab and enjoyed not having to see the same ads you put in your videos everytime and hope you do more collabs
You need to do more stuff together ...
Maybe talk to farmers or something...
This works very well...
♥️♥️♥️this content, thank you Dr. Paul!!!!🤩💥👏
Great crossover! I think I found Bobby because I was always rewatching Paul’s grocery haul vids.
I love how you both have teamed up with these videos
“God can’t give us peace and happiness apart from Himself because there is no such thing.” - CS Lewis
CS Lewis puts out stuff for kids that is based on magic and fantasy.
"Do not be lukewarm or I will spit you out. "
So with grass fed organic beef, you get the benefits of both
Interesting crossover
It’s fun to see Bobby Parrish climb out of his seed oil swamp
@@BRAVENmusic Hm?
I heard they actually grow certain grass specifically for the grass fed cows, so that grass might be GMO, maybe that's why they have grass fed organic
I love that the study they showed for honey said the complete opposite of what Paul said it did (it increased their HBA1c)
If you take a look at the results of the study, you will see that fasting blood glucose, triglycerides and body weight all decreased, which clearly shows that honey had a positive impact on diabetics.
Good information. I like your videos, Paul and Bobby.
Animal based grocery halls keeping you big as hell
I've heard farmers who mock the idea of pasture raised. They claim that some farms just have to have a fenced area available for the chickens, but they can still keep the chickens inside all the time since nobody is really checking them. Thoughts?
That sounds like what free range is.
@@Lonewolf_1776 Okay thank you. I didn't realize the difference between the two.
Jesus said, Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
Ive been doing carnivore basically the BBBE diet for about 6 months now and down 55 lbs, i basically do the 73/27 ground beef i buy the 10lb roll and patty 1/3lb burgers for the whole week, cook 6 eggs every morning in sweet cream butter and 4 pieces wright brand bacon, i personally dont do any other dairy or cheese as it affects my gut but i do use lmnt unflavored electrolyte packets in 1 litre of water daily
what is this soyjak thumbnail paul
They showed how you shop the right way at Wally World. Organic valley grass milk 5.50 and vital farm eggs for 7.50 can’t beat it.
