Piscifun--Fish with Family - Спорт
I became acquainted with Piscifun by purchasing line on Amazon and frankly it was the price that drew me to making the purchase. Ii am glad I made that decision. I have some more expensive line on other reels and after using both brands I much prefer the Piscifun line. It just seems to be a superior line. I also have 2 Viper II 2000 and 1 Flame 2000 spinning reels and I love all 3. Again my reason for choosing these 3 reels was the price. I get to fish in Canada 1 time a year. We just returned from our long delayed trip and all 3 reels performed flawlessly. They handled everything from a 26" walleye to an 18" smallmouth with no problems. I just purchased my first Piscifun Serpent rod in a 7'2" ML fast action. I can't wait until I can get into a mess of Canadian eyes to see how it handles them.
Good vid. It’s nice to have a reference point for friends that I’m teaching how to fish. I was amazed to hear that a lot of retirees never really fished when I’ve been fishing for 60 plus years. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for clearing up the muddy waters of matching the correct reel to what I need.
Excellent information!! Great job Jason!
Thanks bud ! Thanks for watching !
I'm glad you touched on rod balance, that's such an important factor. Having a well balanced rod also plays largely into how long you can fish (comfortably) in a day. I just recently bought a new MH spinning rod for inshore use and was searching around for a reel in the 9 oz range and anything I could find that was quality was in the $200+ range....then I found the new captain reel. Ive had great experience with the carbon x, so I figured I'd try it. Man, I couldn't be any happier. I'm getting the feel and performance out of a $70 reel that you normally wouldn't find until you get into the $150+ range. I will be buying more of them to replace some of my aging saltwater reels. Great video.
I love the flame 2000 just bought my 3rd one, I gave the 1st one to a friend of mine because he needed a reel, bought a 2nd one and use it on a 7’2 medium heavy spinning rod and the 3rd one will be for another 7’2 medium heavy spinning rod
Switched to the 1000 viper x on all my ultralight this year and have been catching everything from smallies to wallies on them. Can’t beat the price on them!
Awesome! Thanks for commenting!
First of all. GREAT VIDEO! Lately I have decided to dedicate more time towards light tackle fishing (mostly crappie) and create more content about such and I have been watching endless amount of videos to decide what spinning reel to buy to pair with my ACC crappie stix rods and your video made my life much easier. Just purchased 2 Viper X 1000 and i can’t wait to try them. Video was simple and straight to the point. Thank you so much. If you ever want to come make a trip in south Louisiana please hit me up. Let’s put them saltwater reels to the test 😉 God Bless!!!
Love this video. Thanks dude
No problem bud!
Just picked up the carbon X 4000 for blackfishing, going to give it a great test.
I have for the first time recommend Piscifun reels to a friend. Must be that I like them.
Got the Alloy X, things a beast.
I've wanted to try the Carbon X... But I'm hard pressed to step away from the Viper X. I've owned Shimano Stadics to entry level Shakespeare's. In my 25+ years of fishing. River/lake fisherman that targets walleye, Smallmouth and trout mainly
Candidly. Dollar for Dollar- the Viper X is worth every one! In my opinion.
Were top end $200 reels better... Sure.. but in my experience, Piscifun has entered a market with great reels that should start to make those longtime reel makers nervous. Great products and great price points.
Btw- EXCELLENT input for those looking for a new reel. I'm relatively an experienced Angler, but had to learn the hard way on what works and why for my fishing situations. This shortens the curve for new fisherman. Great content !!
Thanks Adam! Appreciate you watching !
I use all three reels in tournament kayak fishing . The Alloy and Carbon x are close to each other in performance and durability. But Alloy feels smoother in hand cast and retrieving. Just need Alloy shallow spools...
I have a FLAME 2000, and a newly won VIPER X 1000( thanks to Mollie Anunti-Meyer for the Facebook Giveaway)w/Piscifun Onyx braid spooled on it, mounted on a Piscifun Torrent 6'-8" Spinning rod that came in today 😀 !! When this weather clears I'm going try it out !!
I also have a PHANTOM X but that's another video !!
Great video, and you are very knowledgeable.
Thank you and thank you for watching.
I love the carbon x but it's tied with the viper 2 as it was named when I bought it for my favorite 300 sized reel I've also got a viper x 5000 for bigger fish John from creek fishing adventures changed my fishing life introducing me to piscifun the serpent rods are my favorites also
carbon x's on all my walleye rods great reels for any price
Thanks! And thanks for watching!
I have a carbon x 2000 which is on my walleye rod and I just picked up a viper 2000 for my 13ft crappie rod love them both smooth drag and look good!
Awesome! Thanks for commenting!
Great information
My favorite Piscifun spinning reel has been the Carbon X 1000. However I'm curious to see if that changes if Piscifun should make a Alloy X 1000
I very recently bought a Carbon X 2000 and a Viper X 2000. I haven't actually had a chance to try them yet. But I did spin them a few times and they are both super smooth!!!
You'll love them. No doubt
Just picked up a casting reel from y’all can’t wait to catch a catfish on it
Sick! 🤟
Very informative video thank you sir
You’re welcome! Glad it helped!
I am A HUGE Piscifun fan. Just wanna say it. I love your products. Esecially your reels. Just an amazing job. I cant get over the Chaos XS or the Carbon X.
I like the Torrent Rods as well (getting 2 tips is insane for the price). I will admit I dont love the tiny Eyelets. When reeling my Double UniKnot leader tends to get caught in the smallest 2 eyelets. (note its NEVER been an issue when I have a fish on or during a cast)
Why are the eyelets so small?
Also I tie 12lbs braid to 12 lbs floro
(Also This video is in sterio for me)
Can you talk about your bait runner spinning reel? Will you have a new model after the Carnivore?
Cómo puedo comprar todos los productos PIscifun en México ???
I got 3 flames, I use them for creek fishing. The flames are my beater reels, i put them through hell. They are so cheap if they break, which mine haven't for the last 3 years, just buy a new one.. Bought the viper x last year and use it with giant swimbaits, topwater frogs and whopper plopper targeting large bass and striper. And just bought the carbon X in the 2000, and I plan to use it for trout.
Awesome! 🤟
These are really nice reels what's the price of these reels rather a 3000 or 4000 size reel thanks 🐟
Please visit www.piscifun.com for latest pricing on all of our reels. Thanks for watching!
I wonder if the flame 4000 would be idea for bass fishing
2000 or 3000 is best
@@Piscifun I had another question how long does it take to receive ur reels threw stranded or express I couldn't find it on the website
@@DJloudpack3208 usually 5-8 days
I’m so guilty of being addicted to my bait caster and spinning has been put on the back burner..
What size should I use for a medium light rod? I’m still a little confused if someone could respond it would be greatly appreciated.
2000 is perfect
@@Piscifun thank you very very much
I have 1 piscifun viper x 500 1 piscifun flame 4000 and a piscifun flame 5000
What reel would you recommend for casting light crappie jigs
Carbon X 1000

@@bobswalley3756 anytime!
Bring back the captain and its price! Ways better than penn for its price point
The smallest reels I use are the 2500 size
That would be equal to our 3000
300 line capacity retrieve rate of 39 -40 inches per crank and piscicun don`t make one like that .If they ever make one like I describe then I may buy it
The way you choose the best reel for you is to buy and return. Keep buying reels and feeling them out and return them before the return policy lol.
Lol sounds like a lengthy process
First
Bearing counts are totally overrated. putting extra bearings in places they aren’t needed to up the count is just a way to try and trick the buyer into believing they are getting a better reel.
Very true!! Bearings in the right places matter the most for performance!
Flame I don’t recommend I have had it for a few months and it sucks
If you’re not happy with it then please contact customer service at cs@piscifun.com

@@nickolashogan4992 bro I’ve had it for a year I think I know how to use it line tangles all the time I bought a new reel a while ago and it’s miles better
@@scopy5590 sorry for being so blunt. Maybe you need better line. Or maybe more or less line on the spool.
Best way to choose a reel is to check your wallet first. You dont need the most costly shit to catch fish
