Thank you for another beautiful MK masterpiece, Jilly! I adore your channel and all of your amazing tributes to him! I just finished the entire series of Foyle's War, and of course I had to start watching them all over again. I never want it to end! MK is absolutely amazing.
More magnificent Michael mash-ups! Just when I'd exhausted the whole available back catalogue and was feeling at a loss you deliver up this delight for us Jilly. Thank you! Funny and sensitive. You bring out the very best of MK. Most favourite moments here: The Comedy of Errors - all of them - and the scene from Caught on a Train at 1.30! *Sigh*
I am writing this in late April 2023. I have just loved MK since I first saw him in Out of Africa. And I have been a fan of Foyle’War since the beginning. And Enchanted April. I could go on and on. My very favorite actor. He was born in 1931 which makes him 92 if he is still with us. ❤❤
Whether you are interested in watching how Michael Kitchen gets a girl, or watching to get tips on how to get HIM, this video will definitely "getcha good"! Brilliant song that goes with some brilliant clips from a few familiar MK movies, and many new clips from MK movies not as well known. A happy, fun and romantic feast for Easter! Thanks, Jilly!
Entirely preferable to chocolate or wine. I think my favourite clip is Henry at his own wedding - laugh-out-loud funny (and shades of Antipholus in that look). What a lark this was :O) You've thrilled your (his) fans again.
Gosh, I know this was 4 years ago now, but I hope, Jilly, you're still out and about to reply to a question or two, as you are the hands down MK expert here.!!💙💜 I'm wondering g if you know whether Michael as Briggs in Enchanted April ( which was the first time I 'met' him, lol) is himself actually playing the oboe? And I'm wondering also, at the 1:01 ish minute mark, the name of that production, where he's dancing with the tiny dark haired woman. Last thing Wondering if you've ever heard a song by Steve Miller called, "Seasons"? It is such an amazingly beautiful song and, imho, it would be so perfect for one of your brilliant MK compilations, especially one with a chronological-centric focus. If only I had your talent and skill set for this sort of thing, I'd have already done it, lol! Thank you!
Aww thank you, very sweet of you to say. No idea if MK plays the oboe, I wouldn’t be surprised if he could. The clip where he is dancing is from an episode from the Country Matters series and this episode is called The Four Beauties (1973). I do know that song, quite lovely. Ahh there are so many songs that would work well - you should try and make one, it’s so much fun 😊😊
Jilly Fernandez Omigosh, thank you, so very much for taking the time to reply, and so quickly, so kind of you ! Thanks to these wonderful videos you've created and shared, I have been able to search out and often actually find some~ alas, not all~ of these things he's been in over time.( Just recently was able to view 'Comedy of Errors' as well as 'Dracula, 1972 AD", however a few others like "Caught on a Train", and 'Hacks" have eluded me). And of course as far as You Tube goes, things like interviews are nearly nonexistent. Anyway, thanks again, Jilly. And, while I likely wouldn't even know where to begin with this~ or any, really~ type of video making, I am *very* happy to have access to all the brilliant ones you've given us! 👏❤
Please could you tell me the name of the film/programme where he is on the train with the girl, and he is wearing the pale-coloured mac? I have seen a few different clips but cannot find the role he played.
Hi there - the clip is from a film/play called Caught on a Train from 1980. It’s part of the BBC2 Playhouse series - here’s the entry on IMDB: www.imdb.com/title/tt0080507/
Michael Kitchen is a fantastic actor and he made Christopher Foyle of Foyle's war his own.

That’s really kind of you, so glad the videos still bring joy ☺️

He was born in 1948. He just had his 76th birthday on Halloween, I think.
First saw this at Easter 2023. Nice!
Brilliant Jilly! Don't know how I missed this one, but glad I finally saw it. :)
After 17 videos, I'm not surprised lol xx

There is a little bit of A&E. MK as Jack Turner in periods 3 and 4! Yes!
Entirely preferable to chocolate or wine. I think my favourite clip is Henry at his own wedding - laugh-out-loud funny (and shades of Antipholus in that look). What a lark this was :O) You've thrilled your (his) fans again.
Love him! Thanks for that!
Love him! 🤗🤣

Hi Jilly, Hate to bug you but, what's the clip at 2:13 where he is older and dancing with a young woman, por favor? Thank you, as always!
Hi there - it's from a TV movie called Hacks. MK's character is a bit of a potty mouth lol.
Please could you tell me the name of the film/programme where he is on the train with the girl, and he is wearing the pale-coloured mac? I have seen a few different clips but cannot find the role he played.
