For the people confused, here is a break down of the things Meat Loaf "wont do":
#1. He'll never lie to his woman. (0:58)
#2. He'll never forget the way she feels. (1:05)
#3. He'll never forgive himself if he and his woman don't go all the way in their relationship. (2:58)
#4. He'll never turn his back on their love for each other. (4:27)
#5. He'll never have better sex than he did when he was with his woman. (4:33)
#6. He'll never stop dreaming about his woman. (5:31)
#7. He'll never think that their relationship was just a fling, and move on to someone else. (6:27)
#8. He'll never break the relationship and start screwing other women. (6:46)

+Jon Trollsten Junior nope, when he says "that" he's referring to his previous statement (the eight statements I listed).
      Nice joke though ;)

I am just old enough to have experienced both of Meat Loaf's most successful eras, and knowing that he hit bottom in between makes the second one so incredibly sweet to have witnessed. I love that multiple generations have embraced the man and the music he created along with Jim Steinman from their hearts and souls.
Regardless of one's favorite music genre, it's very hard for me to comprehend how someone cannot love this song, in particular. It is a sweeping and majestic masterpiece.
He truly made an impact that is uniquely his. A true one of a kind performer.
Fare thee well, Marvin Lee Aday. Thank you for taking on this incredible journey with you, and for providing a soundtrack for so many of us.

He sang as though every song was his last, giving it his all in the name of rock opera. Meatloaf is one of the few artistes across all genres that tells the story with his voice. You can feel the anger, the pain, the fear, the joy, the loss and the victories all in his voice. He’s a complete singer.

Ditto: In fact, the lyrics themselves explain the meaning of the word. Each verse mentions two things Meat Loaf would do for love, followed by one thing he will not - with “that” referring to the promise he made earlier in the verse.
Some of the things the song says he won’t do include… forget the way you feel right now; forgive himself if you don’t go all the way tonight; do it better than he does it with you; and stop dreaming of you every night of his life.

This is really a theatrical musical masterpiece performance, not just a music video. Such talent they both had/ have. The only man ever who could use 5 Genre's of music in 1 song and have it go Platinum. Meatloaf was a musical prodigy decades ahead of his time. RIP Meatloaf ❤

Meat Loaf is totally over the top, but with a voice like that, he's allowed to overdo whatever he wants. Thanks for entertaining the world Marvin!!

@christian Williams Dana Patrick is the girl in the video. She's a model that mimed the words to Lorraine Cassidy's voice. (I'm pretty sure that's the real singers name.)

Possible correction / wikipedia states the singer as Lorraine CROSBY aka Mrs.Loud who is pretty enough to play "Beauty".

A song which I listened to almost daily in my teens and early 20’s. Lost touch, as life happened. Couple of decades later it touches you the same way. RIP legend.
