Regardless of one's favorite music genre, it's very hard for me to comprehend how someone cannot love this song, in particular. It is a sweeping and majestic masterpiece.

I'm a bit older than you, and I have been blessed to have seen Queen live....... twice. Both times in the early 80's, but I've been a fan since the 70's. I've seen many of the great ones in concert (Pink Floyd, Stones, The Who, Alice Cooper, Rush, U2, Sting, Elton John, Bob Seeger, Springsteen, Journey, Styx, Van Halen, UFO, Rainbow with Ritchie Blackmore, Paul McCartney, REO Speedwagon, Aerosmith, and many more). I can honestly say that Freddie Mercury was the greatest front man I have ever seen. Brilliant!!!

When this song hit the airwaves I was 15 years old and stuck in a mental facility because the doctors had convinced my mom that I was faking my headaches because I was depressed. The teens in my ward got so excited when it came on the radio. Everyone would suddenly shift gears and start singing along! It was the weirdest time of my life.
I finally got out when I collapsed in the gym and it was revealed that I really was going through intense pressure on my brain. Mom pulled me out immediately and apologized for not believing me.
He was truly a LEGEND in his own right. No one will ever replace the true heartfelt emotions he put into his music and performances! RIP
