been playing riven a hot minute now and most her combos I found through panic pressing buttons during team fights and was like...huh she can do that? but this broke it down easily...kinda like reading subtitles on a movie. I was able to process whats happening better than being mid fight in a game and not really thinking about it. nice vid
0:44 Maybe next time when you do another of these in s13 or s14. When talking about "doing the combo faster" show a close up of the dps at the end of the combo with and without inputting a movement command after every Q to see the difference. The high the dps number the more "bursty" the combo was.
As a Yorick player i can learn u my favorite Yorick combo: R-kill your own ghouls-make 4 new ghouls by last hitting minions by yourself-E (insta get 10 conq stacks)-W-AA-Q-spam AA and abilities as long as enemy is alive.
While Yorick isn't really strong on mechanics there is a combo for him to use: get 4 graves, land E wait for all ghouls to jump (and HIT opponent!) then use R for extra jumping ghouls (2 at 6, 3 at 11 and 4 at 16).

However, if you want to learn all this combos and tricks, you need to pay for his patreon or twitch to have access to the lessons....It is fine because it is his job and he makes his living out of it, but not all gamers can pay (like me).....LOL! R Q isn't a cancel R2 Q isn't a cancel Gore W isn't a cancel Gore Q isn't a cancel EW / EQ / ER / ER2 are not really cancels, she just can cast any other ability during the dash. It's not a hidden interaction. The double cast is the only real cancel/interaction. You are casting an ability while you're casting another. In all the others you just cast abilities with short cast times (R, R2, Gore) right before other abilities. It's like saying Neeko's EQ is an animation cancel. No, you're just using E and then Q. The true interactions can be summarized as "any skill can be used while dashing with E, and after E you can double cast R/R2/W + Q for a brief moment.

Important shit, in the fast combo, its necesary to keep the cursor on the enemy when launching the w because if you dont, riven dashes and then is hard to do the next w cause now she can dash to where she doesnt hit the enemy

riven is one of those champs where you need to go on practice tool and get used to the combos. its hard to do combos in a real game cause theres so much going on. 👍

its not one of the most complex and hardest champs to master for no reason. her winrate gets better in gm and the even better in challenger. usually its the other way around. Like you rly need to be one of the best players in the world with her to call yourself GOOD at her im not joking. even months wont get you anywhere bro shes not worth onetricking just because you think shes cool. if you rly wanna do it then do it cause shes so strong and never gets nerfed. but yeah just trying to tell you how much effort it will take so be prepared. watching others play and repeating every single important thing in practice tool daily in necessary, or just playing thousand games but yea. just practice practice practice until its muscle memory otherwise you wont learning macro cause you are hyperfocused at not messing up ur mechanics. it will take LONG
Riven is the type of character that you’ll get beat mercilessly on until you hit at LEAST 100k mastery. She’s probably the most mechanical character in the game. Learning her is a long painful process. I would however recommend learning how to play each of her matchups and sitting in the practice tool working on her combos each time you get on
the longer ones are best for 1v1s and all ins. short ones are for aoe and burst for multiple low health/squishy targets. the ones that start with 3rd Q are for initiating/closing gaps
PSA: goredrinker is REMOVED. combos are the same just replace GORE with TIAMAT

The Q-W AA needs a movement command before the AA like the fast combo so it would be Q-W-move-AA.

About the double cast . Do u press w and q both at the same time or is it w then q with a short delay in between ?
almost at the same time just make sure to press w before q
