2:18 If you hover an enemy, Riven's Q casts in their direction. So if you want to wallhop, and you have vision of an enemy over the wall(champ, jg camp, minion, ...), you can just hover over them and cast your 3rd Q, even if you're facing away it will work.
Also EW is really useful, I use it almost every game. You cast E first W instantlt right after, stuns the enemy and shield dashes away at the same time, allowing you to easily escape without being self-stunned by W.
You can cancel a few things with your 3rd Q. Mainly Lee Sin 2nd Q and Jax Q. Pretty useful sometimes.
And careful with throwing your ult melee range, pretty easy to dodge if they dash/walk through you. Fiora Q is a really good example, if she isn't stunned she'll just dash through you.
Abuse your low cds. All your skills are 13-, and stuff like Fiora W, Vlad W, Poppy W, etc are all 20+. Some important stuff like Jax E is 16+. So you have a window to harass them for free.
Know matchups, you'll win some weird shit. Like you beat Renekton lvl 1, abuse it. You beat Darius if you space well early on, later on it depends if you can bait his E, otherwise farm lane. You can cheese the hell out of a Vlad lvl 1 with bushes, maybe waste flash or even get fb, exact same for Akali. Irelia depends on wave state, you'll win if it's on your side and vice-versa. Etc.

1 animation cancel that is less famou is E+W+Q, it works with any of the 3 Q, if u don't AA you'll cast the 3 spells very fast, but also burn everything...It's stylish mostly

He prob did it bc his Q3 ran out and he wouldnt have enough dmg to kill lucian if he wouldve used his q again
Honestly burning flash like that means he was still confident on securing the pick on Lucian even after failing 3Q

As someone who’s watched a very very thorough guide to riven I can say this taught me something new less than 3 minutes in
I learnt that I will never be a good riven player

Don't let that discourage you! While Riv is complex in kit usage, to grasp basics you'll only need no more than 20min of active train. Get comfy with combos, after that experience will sharpen you.
Oh, sorry, people might have taken it differently than I intended.
I mean it's difficult for people with slow hands(?)
But it can be overcome with repeated combo exercises.
Eventually, Riven without practice means it's hard to use :)
I tried riven many times and shes ok, but for some reason many times when i press W mid combo , nothing happens

@@TheAligatorRIP Try delaying half a second before pressingg W. To do cancels with W, especially after E, you need to delay it a bit for it to go smooth

Best tip i find so far is wearing a buttplug while playing it realy makes your combos more smooth

Okay, time for a little confession to make. I was a great fan of Lol Analyst. They have shown many important mechanics and examples of usage. I really did advance in my ranked games because of them. Soon after there was this problem with their movies disappearing, copyright claims and so on. I expected some troll activity or something like that. However the moment I learned about the fact that they were stealing your videos, and literally made them their own has put me in a hard spot. I knew that watching it was kinda wrong, since it's not theirs. Soon after I moved to your channel to see the difference. I had a little problem to be honest. Cause the format of the movie was basically the same, but still it lacked something. Then, I realised that it was the music that they literally abused in their movies. It was like the only thing they did good back there. Music choice was great. And the moment when I heard some of the tracks they used in this movie? Great feeling, I can finally say that I can just cut myself from Analyst and stay here for a long long time. Keep up the good work ^_^

The last patch literally skyrocketed her. I feel good for riven enthusiasts who were loyal in the past even though im not one.
And next patch or two she'll get nerfed to the ground ✌️👍
İt didnt skyrocketed (in same patch) e got Buffed but his 2 core items gore and rav hydra got nerfed soo it was a balance stuffs R.I.P Olaf And Aatrox :(

Been watching these tutorials. Helps a lot. Been hardstuck in emerald. Practicing in normal doesn’t really help since people there are either practicing too or are not picking roles properly.

Funny how Bwipo just played Riven in LEC today
can you do one about back timings? and wave management?
heres a tip that really helped me with trading and it applies to other champs but riven can do it really easily. say the enemy laner is running bone plating. when they are going for cs try to clip then with a q to force the cooldown before trading or all inning
also double cast doesnt just apply to wq you anything after e can be double cast like e r1q or e r2q and you have time to fit more flash ult and auto so you can e flash wq or e r flash auto wq.
Another thing for wallhops if you have vision hovering your cursor over the enemy will force riven to turn and hop over
