Hey I remember this stream. Crazy how much editing must have been done to cut it down to 10 minutes without being a mess. Very cool Mr Obscure Lissamphibia.

@@ambiguousamphibian This is personal opinion, but you might wanna tell your editor to tone it down with the added SFX. I felt like I was watching one of those overly-edited crummy shorts, your melodious voice interrupted by the all-too-present sensory overload of erratic hammering...
(I otherwise concur with some other folks here on another shot, or, well, you know what, honestly I'd like to see more episodic content from you buddy... Ever since Rarr stopped doing it I have had a severe drought of the long-term rimworld sagas and sorely miss them :c)
@@StarfloofleIn terms of the long term Rimworld content you might like Mr. Samuel Streamer for modded stuff, he has an awesome zombie(ish) survival series going right now, or AdamVsEverything for vanilla gameplay, or RatKnight for highly narrative storytelling content.

Neebsgaming had good 1+hour video all about their editing process. that 1 hour video was of 1 recording session. being edited down into their 15ish min video. that 1 hour video took days..... of editing . splicing 5 gamers povs and telling a story that flowed etc. i had no idea it was that complex and detailed and time consuming. mind u. i feel its harder with more recordings. still yea 10 min video like this not just a copy and paste i learned.
Imagine being the poor soul who discovers this base after this. It's a completely normal base, but out front, you see a graveyard and the rotting body of somebody next to a barely unfinished grave.

Disease is the bane of any solo colonist, along with mental breaks. The only time I've done an actual solo run, rather than solo start recruiting the first prisoner I can get, I had the super-immune trait and some glitterworld medicine. I also had bloodlust, so combat kept mood high.
Naked brutality - if the hunger doesn't kill you, the plague probably will.
just turn off disease, never feel compelled to play the game with the basic settings, the devs want you to turn things on and off to tailor the game to what you find fun or not
Bedrest matters too and is often the difference between life and death when you have weak medicine.

@@abebuckingham8198 it does, but it also depends what you get inflicted with... and what the tend quality is.
Since I've had a solo colonist with strong immunity (improved recover speed), a normal bed, and set to bed rest, however the disease despite that all was still faster because of horrible tend quality. (no medical skill + no medicine).
I did reload that one (I really loved the map gen and such alone too much, and didn't wanna do it all again)... granted they also got literally (not including reloads mind you) like 7 diseases back to back. Randy random at his finest really.
This made me miss AA's ProjectZomboid videos, where he'd commentate about mundane things, and somehow through his superpower, make the mundane sound interesting.
Yeah, I want more series again. Not one game or one idea done over and over, but an actual playthrough of explanations and rambling
Me too. :( His PZ videos got me to download PZ, and it is currently the video game I’ve spent the most hours in of any game I’ve ever played in my life. ~800 hours.

I love the osrs content sphere! Jimmy and Settled are great comforts in the long grind for a biochem degree. Seeing your special brand of creativity and storytelling cross with the creative insanity of runescape snowflake ironmen is a treat!
What a tragedy. But great story and story telling. It would be really cool to see further attempts with this concept! (maybe even with slightly different parameters)

fantastic way to add more challenge from another game
this was fun to watch live, sadly only watched the first hour of it. not sure if the mod exists but it be cool to have a mod that makes this easier, letting you know how many you can buy and what tiles you cant actually walk on, or prevents all walking on them

Idea for a different play through: start with a married couple (maybe poly group) and only expand the number of colonists through their offspring.
