This series, worm man, torsolo, torsquad, etc mean so much to me. I know you mentioned that you don't want to create long stories like these any longer, but thank you for creating them in the first place!

@Quietshow Thanks :) Yee indeed lots has changed on the platform since I originally released those - so thinking I might release this type of compilation once every few months with some kinda serialized segments over the next few months due to YT just resurfacing things that are compiled, etc. Mostly it'll be new stuff, but I wanted to try it out at first with something from the past.
Plus I re-watched the whole old Gerald Williams series and there were a lot of boring bits I decided to take out, which were muddying up the whole thing. This one's mostly just the philosophical parts haha. Thanks for saying that, tho - means a lot!

It's sad that he's so driven by ad revenue and money that he only gives 10 minute videos on the dot. His long content is great as are most videos above 15-20 minutes. If only the algorithm didn't favour cringe short form content.

Have to admit, I was listening to this out loud at my parent's house while doing last minute decorating in their living room. My dad came by, sat in his lazy boy chair, watched this on my laptop and eventually ended up falling asleep and waking up a while later and telling me you have a soothing voice.

Yeah, I agree. I would desperately love for him to do more long play throughs. I like AA, but I ironically only thought of the short stuff he makes now as side content. I was actually quite disappointed to realise that's what he planned to make exclusively from now on. Kenshi, Zomboid, Rimworld, all of those less condensed playthroughs are spectacular. His narration style has so much more room to breathe, and you feel more like you were there for the journey than simply being told about it afterwards, which is how I feel about the new ones. I like his new stuff, but it's not rewatchable. It's not something I can binge through at night or relax to after a long day. It feels needlessly constrained to fit the shorter format, and a lot has been sacrificed in my opinion.

I'm so glad to see AA become as successful as he has become and I hope he keeps doing what gives him a good living and feels fulfilling; he's earned it.
But I'm glad to know I can always go back and listen to an amazing English teacher, stuck at home during the pandemic, make a story about some character in a video game challenge and ramble off a bunch of random readings and words to form this wistful masterpiece that keeps the modern day ennui at bay for just a little bit longer.

Dude I have like 30 hours played on Zomboid, but the tales of Gerald Williams is just an internet classic for me. This is pure, good, well intentioned content! I have watched this many many times, and this compilation was able to really capture the highlight, funny moments of the series. Im a bit sad you don't want to venture with this kind of long content anymore, but you do you my man! Keep up the good work!

Thanks for this great video. It's going to get me through yet another tough work day. I've been loving the new, shorter stuff on the channel, but found myself missing Gerald quite a bit.
    Cheers and gratitude, good sir.

Tho' much is taken, much abides; and tho'
We are not now that strength which in old days
    Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

having so much of your script spread as a bountiful feast for the enjoyment of our ears at once exemplifies your strengths. this is poetry, philosophy, dare i say art. it stimulates the mind, and the mind takes whatever stimulants it can get so it isn't depressed, much like the slow reader, worm eater, crop sower that is Gerald Williams. i am grateful for your hard work making these videos, and then compiling them into one great composite video. so enjoyable, so soothing.

Perfection incapsulated. For no other creator would I watch an hour plus video depicting the struggles of an unwell 32 bit man, who performs only the most mundane of activities, and at that poorly. I am proud to declare you one of my favorite youtubers in the proud, varied history of this esteemed platform. Though my body is cold, your chronicle of Gerrald Williams has kept the most important and essential, though non-corporeal, extremities of my being warmed, in the deepest sense. "Bravo, maestro, bravo," is heard, sent forth from the lips of all who have been gifted by your genesis of yet another artistic masterpiece. And so I say, once more, Perfection incapsulated.

This series is one of my favorite things on youtube and i keep coming back to it, i love the philosophical ramblings and the impending sense of doom that his monologues bring in this series, sprinkled with notes of calm and quiet, and even hope at times, while also being funny as hell. Such is life i guess..
It's pretty incredible how he weaves between all these emotions seamlessly..
I saved it on my short films list here on youtube, that's how good i think this is.
Thank you ambiguousamphibian for giving us this masterpiece!
If only i could find that music piece though..

I would love to see another condensed edition of our Cannibal, Iron Willed Leader, Orange, from your Rimworld Sea Ice series, both of this series are still my favorites on your channel even through all these years.
