3) Them Crooked Vultures reunion (holy shit)
Was sooo good
Favorite was when alex & Geddy from Rush played, after also losing their drummer.
My nose got sniffy, and my eyes started dripping while watching this video tribute to a really cool drummer. Taylor was a gift, and he didn't forget where he came from.
I cried right along with Dave.
Me too 😭😭
That looks like it was an amazing concert and wonderful tribute.

Also, this video is a great compilation piece, well edited and well written. Great job to the creative team there!
Love Roger Taylor’s übercool short reply “sure was” at 4:01.
when they came out and stood before us i could honestly have clapped for 6 hours. Unbelievable concert and thrilled that I got to see it. RIP TH
Just being there was my true favourite moment, but have to say Wolfgang VH and the Brian Johnson segments and Rufus Taylor on Best of You left me breathless and just pumping with adrenaline, then Dave's opening to the FF segment and Shane on drums for My Hero left me in tears.
Was also great to see Queen & Sir Paul, two acts I've toyed with seeing for years and never done it..
This day at Wembley will live with me forever..
god imagine being there, honestly seems like a once in a lifetime concert all in the name of Taylor. he may have passed but his spirit and memory live on through peoples actions like this. I know when i die the people who love and respected me will honor me. just goes to show how massively taylor and foo fighters are love and respected not just by their fans but also their musical peers. You did it Taylor you made it and then some and then some more, Supremely amazing stuff wish i was there more than anything.
!! What a way to honour a brother !! , you are the man Dave . Taylor is up there smiling down at ya’ . Cheers
I think my favorite moment I saw before MTV made the stream private as I was watching, Wolf melting our faces with Hot for Teacher and Rush taking the stage.
He was such a great singer also . Dude was full of talent
SHANE, took everything to another level.
Wow. 😲😱🤯
Me heart wasn't ready. 💔😭
Beautiful celebration of Taylor’s life! I’m hoping they’ll eventually have the full show for those of us who can’t travel to California. I’d definitely pay to see it! So much love and genuine raw emotion from what I have seen. RIP Taylor! Loved by many, never forgotten! Much love and prayers to all!! ♥️
They streamed whole show from Wembley on UA-cam, can't see why they wouldn't do same
@@alangoosey9356 they might have, but the alerts for when it came on didn’t work though, and can’t find the full show that was streamed up on here now either 🤷♀️
@@Rainbowgrrl It got removed after a day unfortunately. Paramount have the rights, so I imagine it'll be on there
Beautiful show
It really was.
Shane Hawkins was by far the best moment! ♥️
When someone has already been part of a tragic and heartbreaking moment in music history as a member of one of the biggest, successful break-through bands in the 1990's......breaks down on stage- one can only imagine how much mental strength it took to continue on....
I remember seeing Foo Fighters at a massive music festival in Atlanta back in '97. Before they went up on stage, I was standing in the 100yd long line for the bathrooms, looked over my shoulder....and about 20ft away from me I see Dave just walking around the crowd with a giant grin on his face. The only thing I could do was pull out the disposable camera I had a hope one of the pictures would turn out.....and one did.
I simply can't watch the whole show, i always end up in tears. Taylor was such a huge inspiration to me and his passing has hit me hard unfortunately, but watching his son hits those drums i was amazed they didn't fall apart. RIP Taylor
Amazing show and a touching and fitting tribute to Taylor. Already a fan of Sam Ryder but he smashed that out the stadium.
Stewart Copeland and Geddy Lee/Alex lifeson, who you ignored in your list. Discovering that there is a new generation of rockers in the wings: Violet Grohl, Rufus Taylor and Shane Hawkins.
The best tribute ever to a human being
Poor Dave. I bet he never thought he’d have to go through all of this again…
Watching Foo's and Gallagher combine is an experience I wish I could of been a part of 😭😭😭 Rest in peace Taylor 🤘
It must have been hard for Dave to experience another bandmate's sudden passing. And to the rest of them... courage and strength to carry on...
Lucky enough to be there, it was 6 hours plus where each and every artist gave 300 percent. Truly awesome.
The lights up at Wembley was the most amazing sight to behold.
I also personally enjoyed supergrass “alright”
They organized this pretty quick. Makes you wonder why a Van Halen tribute concert still hasn't happened.
@@robbspeck5135 David Lee Roth is also a reason they can't get the tribute show off the ground.
Thank you to all the guests for being so generous with their talent, time, and love being a part of this show. Sir Paul McCartney was really a joy to see. Taylor's son, Shane, blew the house off with his passionate performance. Taylor is above, prouder than ever.
Outstanding performances from Joe Walsh, Wolfgang Van Halen, Rush and of course the Foos ❤️ Star of the show …. Shane Hawkins, who gave his all for his father; immense 💔
My fave moment although it brought me to tears was when Dave was singing Times Like These and began to cry and the crowd encouraged him and cheered him on. That was amazing! Second was when Shane played the drums on My Hero. Taylor would’ve been so very proud! And then the epic moment was Roger & Rufus and Brian May…Queen is my all-time favorite band and it was fantastic seeing them honor Taylor Hawkins!
If they continue, I think Taylor would have been quick to say Rufus should be the one to take my place...he had a special relationship with him.
Yes that would be great! Think Rufus plays with the Darkness though.
Just be grateful the world got to experience his talent not any one particular favourite because they all should be seen as favourites
Amazing and heartbreaking all at the same time.
You can tell how awesome of a guy Taylor was by who, and how many people showed up to at tribute. There’s a pretty large variety of drumming styles up there.
The best part was obviously Taylor’s son Shane Hawkins playing “My Hero.” 🤟🏻🥁🎵
Dave and Taylor have the biggest smiles. I will miss Taylor, but Dave and the rest of the band will help me get through it. To soon and so much to do! Love you brothers.
Nothing but love all around.
Geddy and Alex "Rush"❤️💯
Taylor had so many legendary friends. It's crazy. Didnt even consider himself to be one of them. I had a hard time with his passing. Still doesnt feel real and I didn't even know him
🎶 Also, a great showcase of Rock ‘n’ Roll, that has been waning in the pop culture it seems. 🤔
Taylor Hawkins will live with us forever
Watched this whole concert live glad I woke up and went to UA-cam I didn’t remember the day this was playing but it was a historic concert we will remember forever
Its still heartbreaking that Taylor is gone. That was such a shock. The whole concert was sad to me but of course, his son playing drums to Hero was the pinnacle of amazing and sad
Um, it was not a "run-through" of My Hero. It was one of the best performances of the song ever!
Dave has lost alot in his life and still keeps trucking.. God bless you
Top 3 biggest moments in order: Liam walking on, Rock n Roll star, Live forever. Thank you and good night
