Yep. It was JUST Janet, honey,,,
Correct!!!
I wouldn't trust ya looks baby if I could! !, powerful right, lol
If I could ? , why can't she?
I think Michael must've taught her some of those dance moves like that knee slide.
She's a Jackson. They all got that talent. Janet set her own lane though.
Still bumping this in 2024❤
Hot Damn. This takes me back to the good old days man.
8O's kids 4Life.
Best decade of all time.
I cannot wait to see her at the Garden in July
Yes say it!
80s - untouchable!!
Best years

Yeahp! Any outfit…
@@feleshawilson16 lol
Janet The ICON
I love the fact she doesn't need 10 backup dancers to look cool or to entertain us
Cj
I strongly agree with you!!
Ummmm...Rhythm Nation
@@valjeanlee7060 I was obviously talking about the pleasure principle lol
Janet don't need backup she is a force herself.
@@imyourmajesty2191 Yes she is 😃❤️❤️
My oldest daughter was born the year this dropped! DAMN, I'M OLD LOL! Today she dances her ass off to this! Janet ruled back then!
this is from 1991 so your daughter is 25 years old huh?
Jerome Holloman
This is not from 1991. "The Pleasure Principle" is from the "Control" album, released 1986. The single was released in 1987.
Jerome Holloman >>Yes, she is, and she just received her Master's degree in Nursing. My husband and I also have two younger children, 22 and 19. They are all Janet Jackson fans.
This was from the height of my party days/nights in NYC ! LOL
Janet got off in this video, her entire look was epic. Ms Jackson if you nasty bow down!
Queen. Of pop.
Absolutely ❤ still listening in 2024!
Normally siblings open the door for other siblings that wanna get into the industry, but Janet built her own path and opened her own door. I love how Michael and Janet always remained humble and NEVER competed with one another. You can tell that they danced and made music because it was therapeutic for them, not for fame or money. FOREVER AN ICONIC VIDEO.
YAAASSSSS
I strongly agree with you!!
AKICEQUEEN 907 EXACTLY!!!! Real Genuine
AKICEQUEEN 907
Michael was ALWAYS in her corner and I'm damn sure he helped her get in shape and dance the SHIT out of this song. SHE DID SLAY!
Two words. Quincy Jones
The lyrics of this song are very interesting, lots of metaphors with a sick beat. LOVE IT
ua-cam.com/video/IK64HXFK1wA/v-deo.html Janet is HOT
I think the song was about her relationship with El Debarge.
ITS ABOUT JAMES DEBARGE
@@jonesy2892 James not El
"I'm not here to feed your insecurities, I wanted you to love me."
She was stupid fine in this video🤦🏽♂️😍❤️💯
Janet Jackson is my girl.I just ❤ her forever.
Can we just embrace the naturalness of this? Fully clothed, natural makeup and not overdone hair. Pure beauty.
Absolutely!!
YES!
Absolutely!
Beautiful at it's greatness. I
Always thought she looked like my sister except my sister has no musical talent.
Yes yes yes! What an amazing woman. I simply adore her.
everything about this video is so timeless. her look, her dance, her attitude. the colors the set design too, so damn amazing
Also I see a lot of performers now use a lot of her moves from this video . An example is at 3:22 I have seen Ciera do that exact same move in her video
I couldn’t agree with you more!!!
I third that !!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
What makes this so iconic is she has no backup dancers or support! It’s all her !!
EXACTLY
GAVIN GAVALLI CONTROL, CONTROL,CONTROL!!!!!!!
@Proxima Centauri Paula Abdul did not choreograph any of this. It was Barry Lather.
@@clawdiajordan Couldn't agree more!!
Of course 😊
No backup dancers. No fancy backdrop. Just pure talent!
Janet is mind strong. Determined to live outside of Micheal's shadow. She barely did a song with him. Only after she solidified herself as an independent act.
Nothing is pure. Work is work.
Just her.
THE BLUEPRINT!!!!💯💯💯
@@CarsonDouglasshe dances just like him though. Talent runs in the family.
