She got it boy, lol. I saw her with her daddy, Pete Escavedo, and his latin jazz band in the late 80's, trust me boy, she ain't got to get it, she got it. Her dad is phenomenal, and she and her brother are incredible. The entire stage was carpeted with pieces of drum sticks by the end of the show. Some of the best percussionist in the world, just ask Tito Puentes, their buddy. Much love to you, I adore her too. Huge fan. Women arn't as common on drums. That level, rarely. She is a league of her own.

When saw her episode of Unsung, I never realized how much a toll drumming took on her, but yet she STILL PLAYED...she only stopped bc she was on the brink of paralysis from her spine being messed up (drumming long hours plus the high heels)....now THAT'S dedication 😊

I saw her live at the Howard Theatre in Washington, DC, 4 weeks ago. Trust me, she's only gotten better, & the band she tours with is incredible, too. She evolved her sound into a jazz dynamo but she still lives & loves the soul & rock.
