    Love this! This recipe takes me back to my Tia growing up during Thanksgiving & Xmas. At those times, it wasn’t vegan/vegetarian but have made it both throughout the years. And some FYI, Trader Joe’s has an enormous amount of spectacular, inexpensive Vegan wine.

    I'm a vegetarian Boricua. I love your video! I personally would omitted the fake meat substitute with small diced zucchini mushrooms and other veggies and fried the platano lol. Your version is just fine too. love your work lady! Take care

    Mmmmmm. I will definitely be trying this recipe. It looks delish and so simple. I'm glad baking the plantain is an option instead of frying. I've only seen it fried for this recipe and I was wondering if there was a healthier way. Thank you.

      Hi! My favorite is from Violife. It tastes close to real cheese and melts better than any other brand I’ve tried before.
