I just tried the recipe. It was really good. I added a little vinegar to the sauce to balance the flavors and it all came together. Sweet salty acidic, very tasty will make again. 🎉

Hi Rachel, good day. I never heard about plantain lasagna before, it looked delicious, seems easy to prepare and I like lasagna so I tried it. It was really good, I made it again last night and I added frozen mix vegetables to the sauce, oh my God it was sooo delicious, I am going to make it again. Thank you so much, I really enjoy your cooking and recipes, so easy to follow. Great job, please keep them coming😊❤ Is it possible to show us how to make the Jamaican icing for the black cake. I did follow your recipe for my black cake and I would like to add the icing the next time. Thank you so much for sharing your recipes, talent and time. God's blessings to you and family 😊
OH SANP! First time I have seen this, because you made it I would give it a try. I subscribe to the backyard farm. Absolutely love it. Where are these brothers and sisters? I would absolutely buy from there farm.
This looks amazing. I quite often use various vegetables instead of pasta in lasagne but never seen plantains used. I must get out more! 😁 Off to my favourite shop tomorrow to buy some. Thank you again ❤❤❤

Use a white sauce as the binder
Thank you ❤❤❤😊😊😊
Big up and bless up brother ❤️
If you prefer no fried food, can you oven roast the plantain instead ??
You sure can 👍🏾
@@RacquelsCaribbeanCuisine thank you so much!!!!
I like plaintain alot but idk about this one. How much starch is in that? Also those look like bananas that is overly sweet so can you do that with green plaintains
It’s mostly done with ripe plantains but I am sure green plantains would work just as good and with more texture
Hello, can u use evaporated milk instead of regular milk?
@@SheBeSha86
Definitely!
What kind of milk do you use?
Regular full cream milk, evaporated milk would be perfect as well
Is it a must to fry the plantains first can u just use it as is
I have never tried it that way before but boiling instead of frying is also an option
@@RacquelsCaribbeanCuisine thanks
Jamaican people eat alot of lasagna.
So, you have never made this before?
First 😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉
Big up !!
