+Treasuring Priceless Time lol Awesome! I know the feeling with the salad thing. When I first went vegan it was like that. Just tell hubby to hang in there...lol..its a process ..your basically learning to cooking all over again. One thing that hubby and the kids love that reminds them of what I ise to cook is pollo-less guisado lol (my 8 year old named it that) so I make the dish like im making pollo guisado and just do a bunch of potatoes and a handful of quinoa and lentils to add texture and protein and everybody loves it and it happy...hubby eats it with hot sauce and my pick 8 year old inhales it everytime lol...I have to make a video with the recipe...maybe the end of the month...thanks for subscribing 💕

For the people who've never had pastelon you don't have to add veggies it optional, you can also try the plantain Fried instead of boiled and follow your heart vegan cheese is bomb❣️ just an idea Much love xoxo💞

Do you ever make a dish and walk out and then back into your kitchen and then the kitchen smells like that time when you had it OR, like the person who used to make it. I get that in my kitchen and I love when I walk back in and it smells like my grandma's kitchen. The. Best.
Yess! I love that feeling. It happened to me pretty often when I cook traditional Puerto Rican meals. Always brings me back to cooking with my mom as a kid or coming home from school to some delish treat.

+gisforgary I sent a relleno de papa (the potato croqutte video recipe i have) with my mom for my brother filled with gardein picadillo and she told him she bought it at the dominicans store and believed it and said it was delicious and then she revealed the truth to him and he was shocked..I think you can fool a meat eater if your not giving them the gardein on its own though
veggie rose -- haha -- brother go vegan! to me the gardein beef and chicken are a little too close, i got some crab and it smelled like crab but didn't taste like anything. I have a boiled sea creature restaurant I walk by every day, it had that kind of smell, i don't know how they imitate that.

+Vanessa Tamayo I don't have chiles rellenos specifically but I do have stuffed bell peppers...chiles rellenos sounds like a good idea for my list though lol
+Teash Ology It is different from a banana it's usually bigger and you have to cook it before you eat it..also you can use it green and ripe. The taste is sort of similar to that of a banana in that it's also sweet but not as sweet which is why its used with savory food and also it doesn't brown like a banana once its peeled
