It was so good to hear Rogan and Burr talk about Bill Hicks. He was such an underappreciated comedy genius, but required a certain taste of comedy as well as an understanding that you're supposed to be not only listening to jokes but also to very serious issues that he can inject comedy into in a way very few comics can . He could have been one of the greats if his life hadn't been cut short.
@@davedavid7061 yeah, kinda funny how Joe is viewed as one of the great comedians, but he doesn't seem to get Norm McDonald. Joe is a good person however. Internet needs him.
I only gave a thumbs up because of Bill Burr! Bill Burr is one of my favorites along with George Carlin. Two guys spitting truth about society! Cobb's is a great comedy club! Jenny Jones daaaamn that is a throw back, look it up gen z. ✌️

I tried watching a few old movies from my childhood for nostalgia, but they are better as memories rather than how I perceive them today. The past is often better left in the past. 🙈🙉🙊
Agreed. Tried going down memory lane and man, there were some rough ones looking at it through modern lenses. However, there are just ever green golden ones like T2 or the first Matrix
Clasic films are nostalgic for there era never quite hit the same. But a stand up comedy or film . An eddie Murphy special. Or even jim carrey ace ventura. Seems to hit . Brings back all the laughs
@trixic3 They most certainly do, some are just immortal. But we are not, I think when we were younger and perhaps more innocent, hormones and youth combined, amplified them and forever set them as great in our mind's eye
28:30 I think is great that they mention foreign films. 30:14 I grew up in Mexico in the 80's as a kid and had no problem reading subtitles watching U.S. movies so I trip out that U.S. folks just want to see Hollywood movies. They are missing out on other great stuff.
Gator has got a really good soundtrack !!!! It took me ages to find it on vinyl !!!! If you like 60’s / 70’s soundtracks I would highly recommend it !!! I heard one track on a compilation called dusty fingers and it was my favourite track from it and then it took me about 20 years to find the original soundtrack!!!
Bill was right, before Phil died, Newsradio really was one of the best comedies of all time. It was really underrated and Phil passing was the beginning of the end
"Jamie pull up every episode I've ever done."
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa :D
spotify contracted ended. time to put em back on youtube!
That's why he's the goat!
now its not gonna be (near) impossible to find past episodes on spotify
money must be tight
I didn't watch Joe during the Spotify stretch so this is new to me. Thank you

I was like "new Bill Burr ep fucking sick!!!!" Then I slowly realized the background was red and then butt was hurt again.
Wait, what? This iznt legit?
I liked the old room vibe . But I agree that re broadcasting a prerecorded show without the teaser, sucks.
@@stevendalloesingh1214 what do you mean not legit? It's just an old episode
I just watch like 1 or 2 episodes of Joe every month. The last 2 years. I basically watched like 0.2% of his content. I'm glad it came back up.
An Joe critisicing jamie for plugging jeepers creepers again was hilarious;
Bills dad @ 33:30 lmao "I know you told me to stop doing that 'cause it's bad for my back but ya know, it's my house"
It always makes me laugh that Bill starts off any impersonation of his dad with "Ah, Christ..."
You guys ever have a friend that takes every joke or one liner you say and turns it into a serious conversation? That’s Joe 😂
Omg I fucking hate it. it's a joke bro, relax, I'm not giving you my opinion.
Were you ever on a flight within talking about quitting smoking
@@davedavid7061 yeah, kinda funny how Joe is viewed as one of the great comedians, but he doesn't seem to get Norm McDonald.

Childlike curiosity about EVERYTHING
its almost like he is trying to make a podcast and drag out convos for it to get you to comment sheesh its like he did this on purpose
hair left the chat
The cope at Oprah's hair was real though 😂😂
😂😂😂😂
If they were light bulbs, Bill is an LED and Joe is like a burned 150 watt old kind
I think Joe Rogan is very proud of his Joey Diaz impression 😂
It's pretty funny I love it when people do Joey
its a good impression probably his best
i like how bill burr don´t give a fk about his impression. but thats bill burr he not trying to be liked
Bill Burr is the wrong person to try and impress with an impression
Jamie just dropped more videos than bombs in Vietnam.
I was thinking that something is wrong with UA-cam. So you telling me that these videos are dropping in real time?
@nekoskype they are the ones from Spotify tha weren't uploaded to youtube
I love the smell of podcast in the morning
Dumb ads on UA-cam every 3mins. Stick to Spotify
It’s really dumb.
This show is such a godsend for someone who doesn't socialize (me)
300 podcast episodes brought over from Spotify thanks to Jamie.
These need to be saved. Imagine how it’s gonna be rewatching these 30-40 years from now
why Jamie?
Bro this is great, I been watching non stop I missed all the Spotify episodes so I'll be good for 3 months lol

Tell ur friends u love them man.

That Truman show reference was spot on.

Man i kind of miss the weirdness of when the new studio looked like the inside of an alien spaceship.
The Austin toaster.

Joe and Bill Burr are the kings of comedy! Boston comics are hilarious
Bill top 5 all time, rogan wouldnt even crack top 500, he's basically a civilian dawlg
Joe doesn't have a funny bone or hair on his body.
Joe Rogan top 5 podcaster though most watch him for that

Joe, your intro is 10 DB louder than your whole podcast, as I mentioned earlier. That's been my baseline for 25 years in audio work.
What's going on with these old episodes being uploaded here?

Bill Burr is funny without telling jokes
When was this aired?
Idk why nobody is talking about how Bill hasn't been on JRE in going on two years now.
Fr. Miss him. Probably not anywhere near as accessible for Bill after Joe moved to Texas
