Great project! looking forward to more! 1st obstacle is that 727 has an issue mating up to a '69 crank didn't know if your were aware, you may have already have that solved.
Looking forward to following along. Digging the NAMDRA sticker, car must have some history. Before you pitch that tilt column, a lot of times just the joint has just come loose. You can dig down in there, put a little locktite on the 3 bolts, and be good as new. Lots of videos on the job out there, easier than a column swap.
The person who owned the car previously, raced it at the NAMDRA shows many many years ago. It was rocking a 360 at the time with the 727 trans (the trans came with the purchase, not the engine). He unfortunately fell into hard times, and needed to sell the car. He sold it to his uncle, who is the person that runs the "new" NAMDRA event...which is the "AMC RACES. " And that's how I heard about the car, he offered it as a good "starting platform."
I love AMC, all models!!!!
I am American Motors Corporation!
Ih red, ford tractor white and blue . Tractor paint laid out god and it’s cheap 😁
We’ve been planning Grayson’s hornet for 2 years. Seeing yours at Cordova motivated both of us
Once again... Thank you for your content and keeping these AMCs alive👍🇦🇷
Keep going! I can't wait to see your build!
Flat black with gloss black trim will be sinister
You can do satin or flat clear then if you get oil or whatever on it you can wash it off

Yessir. Got me an adapter kit from an AMC vendor...supposedly (hopefully) solves that issue!
@@AmericanMadeClassics thats great, crisis averted!
Also wanna sell the door panels from that? Grayson needs those too
Not sure on it yet, might keep them in there for padding on the arms. But I’ll let you know!

@@AmericanMadeClassics The Halvorson's are great, have known them a long time.
You have to have front bench seating and column shifter if you get an old school car! Otherwise no enjoyment inside.
😆
Hey Austin and Robert, Thad Shumaker. Would you fellers happen to have a v8 crossmember? Or know someone who does?? We need one for Grayson’s Hornet
On Bulltear.com, they sell a 6cyl to V8 motor mount adapter! I’ve heard good things about them
@@AmericanMadeClassics found a steal of a deal on them on evilbay. 😁
