I have an 87 Dodge Diplomat with the 5.2 in it as well, and it's pretty much the predecessor to the Aspen and Volare. Can't really, dog on a 318, especially if the lean burn is working, which is very rare because they did more harm than good. It has the old low torque starter and reminds me of the ones my dad had. My dad got me into Mopars with a 1977 Dodge d100 with a junkyard build distributor that hardly ever worked, but it was what got me into Mopar. I'm looking forward to watching this video once I'm done with his video in regards to this car.
Could make a great car with some work! Great looking body style. The little 318s are tough little engines!
There used to be a chocolate brown Dodge Aspen with rear quarter window louvres and trunk spoiler at a local store on occasion. It looked pretty sharp. Not a Mopar guy myself.
@@FangOfTruth me either but I couldn’t leave it to turn to dust in the desert
On the rear quarters this car needs the script,as quoted by Dalton of pole barn garage put a fork in it it's done!! Lol the fork key is priceless.., and just jump the Chrysler starter relay on the dr side inner fender
