I struggle to find the words to explain just how unique these guys are. I really think that they are triplets of different mothers. They know, understand, and enjoy each other. You have a good life if you can find one person that you feel that connected to. These guys have hit the lottery in music.
I do agree. I envy these guys. I know they are grateful and humbled by all of this. Jonah is such a gracious guy. I’m so impressed with these 3 gentlemen.
They are masters at outros and surprising endings. :D Also, I read somewhere that Avicii really liked this cover.
Hahaha right? It’s nice to know Avicii liked it. 😊
I got this feeling of a train relentlessly moving through the night when I listening to the drums for the first part then they ripps it up in the end just amazing.
Oh heck yes…listening to Pat Metheny’s “Last Train Home” and tell me if you feel the same for that song…

@@StrateleStudiosOh yes absolutely!
@@lyset61 that Metheny song haunts me 😊
@@StrateleStudios Pat Metheny is " my musical God". I find so many things of Pat's music in Dirty Loops.
"I want a whole song of that ending part."
😁😁😁
Oh! ove it!, haven´t heard this one!! 🙂 An Avicii-cover, another amazing swede, gone too soon. RIP Tim Bergling.
Love the coloring in this song, it is indeed WOW!!! Makes you happy! Thanks Jeff!
What a great rendition of this song. And you’re right makes you so happy!!!
@@StrateleStudios Thanks! 🙂 Maybe a Dream Theater "Barstool warrior" after this...? Hey, we have to do something while waiting for the new DL stuff! Hahaha...
@@andersgranstrom7128 I like how you think Anders 😂
@@StrateleStudios Great minds, think alike! ;-)
One of my favorites for sure! Again, different from anything else they've done.
A phenomenal cover for sure! It struck me the first time I heard it how much Jonah's singing (at least in this song) evokes Stevie Wonder.
Definitely one of my favorites. I love their spin on it! Chords yes, great stuff! Such a great beat too!!!
Thanks, Jeff 😊Another great reaction from the #goat 😉
😊😉
As always a thoughtful, knowledgeable reaction to a song whose only problem is it ought to be at least 20 minutes long. So elegantly Loopified.
Thank you! 😊😊😊 hahah yes too short! 😄
I love this great cover!
But when you think how Jonah and the other guys were frustrated back then when - as Avicii's support band - nobody wanted to hear them - and now he's long gone from us ....
This is so sad and I hope so much that Jonah, Aron and Henrik stay happy!
I know…what a story he told us…humorous yet tragic hahaha
Nice chords!!! nice reaction. Happy 2022.
Thanks Freddie, Happy New Year! 🎊🎉
Beautiful reaction, as always, Jeff, -so enlightening. Please keep them coming :) Yes to all you’re saying, to all the intricacies in the composition and arrangement and mixing, and and…. All the mind blowing playing/singing of all those three guys! Can’t wait to continue on that journey of discovery :)
Thank you! I have another one coming soon…probably my fav from the early days. 😃
Jeff, great analysis! .You know the different chords are in a limited number, we all know most of them! The number of way of combining them it's exponential: they have explored some of these combinations creating new chords progressions: putting together these complexes harmonies and creating a "consistent flow" to the listener... that's a very though task!
You know chords can be vast as well with extensions the sky’s the limit! 😃
This is a really cool cover.
At last!!
Well Done😃
Hahaha I eventually get there! 😃😄
Henrik's lines are that big fluffy cloud Aaron and Jonah ride along on.
Does anyone notice that's a 7-string bass guitar that Henrik is playing?
😄 As usual they do their thing with the song and it is amazing! I like the ”deep/rich sound” very much, the ”trumvispar” (whisks?), the bass
-craziness 😉and all stuff going on! (And I never even liked this song much 😬)
It’s so trumvispar! 😄
The chromatic chord progressions in the synth are unreal. I would love to hear an instrumental version of this. Would also love to see the manuscript. Quite difficult to understand what’s happening. But I LOVE IT!
Yes! I wish I had the transcription for this. Hey, maybe I’ll asked Jonah for the midi file for analysis 😃
Check this out, pretty dope interpretation ua-cam.com/video/9si1FJqq7Ew/v-deo.html
@@xpovy_3398 that’s insane! Thanks.
@@xpovy_3398 😃👏👏👏
Happy New Year Jeff !! Long live to the Dirty Loops Church!
Aaaaaamen!!!! 😁
Incredible chord changes
Yes!!!
This guys are playing upside pop harmony 😮
Does chords man !
Awesome :-)
😊😊😊
Dude! AGAIN! IDENTICAL reaction to yours, the first time I heard this a while back! (In other news, where's your reaction to Tim Akers Smoking Section "Uptown Funk"?!) Have a fabulous 2022, mate!
Hahaha awesome! Yes sooooon 😉 You too my friend!
I would like to recommend reacting to Henrik Linder - Giant Steps (by Coltrane). It opens another jazzy view on this great bass player.
You know I was thinking of doing a feature on my favorite bass players and that video would be great for that. I’ll keep it in mind. Thanks! 👏
Happy New Year Jeff. Love from Sweden.
Happy New Year Hemlig! 🎊🎉
they are huge teasers , they rarely overplay anything
They absolutely keep me wanting more!!! :)
One of their most "pretty" songs till it turns Loopy. Nice pick Jeff
Thank you my friend! 😃
Seven string bass? Wow...
Masterfully played, too!
@@StrateleStudios That's Henrik Linder. He knows no other way. That neck makes his hands looks small, but if you watch him on Songs for Lovers: Old Armando Had a Farm he plays a four string and you can see that his hands are not small at all. ua-cam.com/video/V9zZ_Mrt0Hg/v-deo.html
I thought Jonah said "simple song"... not "pop".
They tend to be synonymous, no? 🤷🏻♂️
