Thank you to the algorithm that made it possible to watch good videos, I hope that you will succeed as you have worked hard for your dreams. It's a morning when something good seems to happen today if you open the UA-cam window. I was hesitant about whether to open the UA-cam window, and if I hadn't seen your video in Hamat, I could not have felt another great joy. Whether it's a coincidence or a relationship according to the algorithm, your video appears on my UA-cam window, and I'm watching your video like a dream. The moment I saw it for the first time, it made my heart flutter. As I watch your wonderful videos, I keep falling in love with them. Thank you so much for watching your valuable videos on such a fine day with clouds floating in the blue sky. As you try to achieve success on UA-cam, there are only a lot of difficulties, but you can only achieve it if you always make a firm resolve that you will do it again someday. An unknown and mysterious algorithm led me here. It is a very good video just to watch. Watching your video that feels like it was made with sincerity and unsparing sincerity, it makes my heart flutter because I have a feeling that I will soon receive a lot of love. I liked your video, especially since it made a deep impression on me. While I was living, there was UA-cam, which gave me another happiness. However, working on UA-cam videos is like standing alone in a windy expanse. Your videos have the ability to instantly make them attractive.

Just watched it again. How absolutely authentic & endearing you both are. Music always brings people together. In these times where it feels like the world is awash in negativity, it is easy to forget the best of humanity. The shared joy, kindness, respect, & admiration is something that we all need to see. These qualities are evident in your conversation with Jonah; evident in your reactions & interactions with your subscribers; & evident in the music created by Jonah, Henrik, & Aron. Thank you, thank you, all of you.

Holy Guacamole! Awesome interview! The level of musicianship these guys are on is phenomenal and they just happen to play my favorite genre of music…funky jazz fusion. I’ve been following them since 2013 and was lucky enough to see them live and have tried to looptify as many friends as I can and I’m sure they’re tired of me constantly playing them in the car, etc. What’s interesting is there’s so many reaction videos out there recently (great fun to watch) but he connected with YOU! I’m so envious. You deserve it and handled the interview perfectly. It’s funny how the genius musicians are all so soft spoken, humble and kind of downplay themselves. Joni Mitchell used to say “I don’t understand my success really. I can sing a little, I can play a little…” 😳

    • @StrateleStudios
      @StrateleStudios  2 роки тому +6

Whatever he saw or sees in me is hard for me to qualify but I can tell you what I see in him. He is an incredibly humble soul who happens to be blessed with talent above and beyond that of which I’ve seen in a very long time. Our texting has been so incredibly edifying and encouraging both ways that all I can say is that I’m truly blessed to have made a friend in him. The hour and 40 minutes we spent face to face totally solidified that IMHO. By the end of the zoom call it was more like two good friend chatting…then he blows my mind with two extremely generous gestures as you will see in part 3. #NoSpoilers #MindBlown #ChristmasCameEarlyThisYear

All the truly great musicians I've had the pleasure of knowing are kind, humble, and genuine...and this shines through in this lovely interview. Great questions, Jeff, you're touching on many things I've thought and wondered about. Thanks for representing for all of us who are geeking out over these badass stanky Swedes!
Dear Jonah...I'm absolutely addicted to the joy that's so readily apparent in Dirty Loops' music, ESPECIALLY in the videos of your original material. I cannot wait to hear more! I have had so many friends and all my orchestra students listen to Dirty Loops...I'm just that thrilled by the level of musicianship, the fun you 3 are clearly having, the quality of the composing/arranging/production. Literally all of it. It's all about the music and the joy of making it with your friends! And thanks, also, for talking about how we all fail in our live performances...I tell my students that I've had tons of cringe-y live moments, and that we learn more from our failures than we learn from our successes.
I am so looking forward to seeing the rest of the interview, and of course, any upcoming projects from Jonah, Henrik, and Aron. You're ALL incredible! I feel like this is why I teach music to children...for the music itself, of course, and the satisfaction of becoming good at it...but also friendship, connection, and pure joy.
Oh, and I went searching for the folks trying to break down the vocal runs. I think this must be it! For anyone else interested:

This interview made my night man! Seriously good stuff in here, I learned alot.
I had NO freaking idea they wrote simple pop songs and then "loopified" them! WOW!! That is an amazing creative process.
I've only just discovered DL a couple months Ago, and those 3 guys have inspired me so damn much...I lost my passion for music after years of metal gigs as a guitarist and more years of bass playing in a ska cover band....it became work, it became boring, I wasn't learning anymore and lOst creativity..
Jonah, you and the boys have written music that I just can't stop listening to, I'm filled with so much emotion and inspiration when I hear your tunes...you guys are so amazing, and the best part is that you guys are super cool too...
I've cried alot and did some soul searching...
    And I'm back!!!!
Ive taken my instruments out Of storage , I set up my home studio, my creative process has changed for the better, I'm recording again!!! I don't care about genres or what ppl like or dislike anymore, I am writing for me.
I am starting to play piano and synth now also....thank you thank you thank you!!!!
I get so excited to play ,learn and write , just like I did yrs ago...
Jeff, your channel rocks man!!! I can honestly say our reactions to these guys are very similar, I watch your reactions alot, it's like having a friend over jamming tunes for you...never stop what your doin !!!

Their music saved my life during the pandemic. I felt so dead inside with everything going on + a shit storm in my own personal life. I got to see them play live in Montréal just recently and omg my soul just came back to life. It was incredible! I got to meet them at the merch table and embarrassingly couldn’t keep my tears on the inside telling them how much their music meant to me. What a wonderful interview you conducted! They are all incredible down to earth guys and I feel every note very deeply in their music just like you are describing perfectly. I’ve listened to their music countless of times and even transcribed/learned some of the piano parts and it makes me fall in love with music over and over again. Feel free to pass on my comment to Jonah and the boys because I am not entirely sure I was even coherent when speaking to them in Montreal lol my mind was completely blown. Still is…and I will definitely go to another of their shows in the future. So worth it! Jonah might remember me I was the girl with the piano beanie 😂 🎹 held the door for him when he entered the venue with his suitcase and thought that was my VIP experience meeting them all at the end of the show was unexpected but immensely appreciated.

Well, first off…ironically - I just came across this video today, after I found out that I had actually missed seeing these guys by four days in the city where I live Chicago. And I consider it one of the biggest lunkheaded moments in my musical life, for not being more aware of their touring schedule lol.
Secondly, figuring I am in Jeff's general age group - He is actually absolutely 1000% correct, that he is not the only one that was extremely (emotionally) inspired by DL videos/talent. And particularly their original videos. Even more specifically “Next To You“.
I am a long time studio singer/writer for R&B, and pop producers. And admittedly the past years, I had lost a bit of my spirit, because I wasn’t regularly seeing newer acts with quasi-generational talent being released regularly. But, like Jeff, after watching the musicianship, the spirit, the vision, and the creativity that Dirty Loops bring seemingly every single time they play…I definitely got just as emotional. And all it really was that I was realizing...there are individuals like this still out there…Making it happen. So....Thank You, Jonah, Henrik, and Aron AND Thank You Jeff! :)

What a great interview! Dirty Loops (and Cory Wong) are constantly on at my house. And inspire my 8 year old to enjoy practicing the drums. He definitely wants to be Aron when he grows up. Although he regularly asks for Henrick’s signature bass along with a WahWah. My 10 year old has been inspired to practice his piano more regularly. Thank you for the first half of the interview, we can’t wait for the next half. The whole family would love to hear interviews with Aron and Henrick.
Finally, I love your reaction videos, it is wonderful to see someone loving music (and Dirty Loops) as much as I do. I felt very similar the first time I heard each song. And it never grows old. Even cooler seeing the next generation being inspired as well!

The language guy in me is fascinating by the fairly strong Swedish accent that Jonah has, and Henrik even more I think. I haven´t herd Aron speaking English... One would think that being able to completely absorbe a foreign accent would be about musicality, but is obviously isn´t. This is by no measn meant as criticism, for me as a Swede it´s a little awkward because I realize that I have a similar and possibly much stronger accent while speaking English myself, but I love hearing for example Danes speaking English with their Danish accent. So I don´t think there is anything wrong with it. I´m just fascinating that not even a clearly veeeery musical person does not get rid of his accent easily. By the way the "ees" (as in eel) really relieves to me as a Swede that he´s from the Stockholm region. Just a reflection in the margin.
Love to see the respect and love flowing in this video, this is bromance at is best. That´s what the Dirty Loops is all about I guess, bromance, and it´s sooo important. I´m 55 years old so I see myself as an elder, and I dare to say: Our feminine, caretaking side we as men develop the most in companionship with other men. That way we become better son´s for our mothers, better husbands for our wives and better fathers for our daughters. This is deep!
