I bought the Clone King and I put rose cuttings in it. On day 28 I was able to pot up 4 rooted cuttings. The rest are taking longer but they do look like they are rooting. It is an amazing machine.

Nice! I just bought the same cloner (Clone King) to do work with American Hazelnut and other woody edible propagation work. Also trying various dormant hardwood cuttings. I just bought mine and have only had it running for two days, so I can't describe any results. However, a couple things I am doing differently are: using a tall (18") dome to cover 25 of the 36 sites to control humidity levels as a test to see what works best. Using a titan 12 control timer that allows me to adjust both on and off time for the spray unit (I am using 1 minute on, 3 minutes off). Also on the timer I am using an air stone from my compost tea setup that is one air pump attached to 4 air stones to further aerate the water. Lastly, I am using element nutrients cloning gel to dip in, and low levels of clonex nutrient/hormone solution in distilled water. I will be sure to share any results (good or bad). Would love yo see some more perennial experiments with this! Cheers.

This is one of the most straightforward, well explained videos, and at least it shows the wrong way and the right way.

I actually add a small amount of bleach to my cloner when I add new cuttings. This allows me to run the system warmer, which tends to help me root faster without developing any sort of infection. Prior to this, I was adding beneficial bacteria, fungus, and enzymes - which was surprisingly less effective than the sterile method.
Letting fresh cuttings soak prior to being placed in the cloner can help prevent embolisms, and increase success rates.

If the pump is causing too much heat, use a timer , 15 mins on, 30 mins off to prevent heat build up

Wonderful result. I as a few others feel that the humidity was too much. Using a timer would be even better.

Add a little compost tea to your water, I added two red solo cups stained into about 2 gallons of water. My root sprayer is home made in a five gallon bucket with only one sprayer. Turn a half turn in the socket every day. It helped my plants come back from the dead. :)

If you use a little bit of cloning gel , nutrient, and clear rez things will be much much faster and no rot. I use ez clone stuff, but there is many options out there.

Hi, I am late here, but good video. One thing I can tell you is you don`t necesarily need to "dechlorate" the water, that helps you to keep it free from a lot of pathogens.

Allowing the tap water to sit does not ensure off gassing as some townships use Chloramine which does not evaporate like Chlorine will. That being said neither Chloramine nor Chlorine will hurt your cuttings and will only server to discourage bacterial growth.

Also on the heat situation, it looks like your aeroponics system is on a shelf above some lights.

I'm good at reviewing all well balanced life. Keep your mix of the co2 and like if you put dry ice 🧊 and put it inside a Artic Air and add a little bit of water 💧 and dry ice for byproduct is CO2. Ppm needs to be less than 148ppm

You are on point and you clone the same way as I do it but my setup is a bit more advanced. I LOVE YOU SYSTEM BECAUSE YOU HAVE MAID/R&D WORK YOUR SYSTEM SEND ME A MESSAGE IF YOU WANT TO TALK/NETWORKING AND GET ON THE FORBES WEBSITE. I BELIEVE IN YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND WE ADD WHAT I HAVE THAT WILL HELP TO MAKE THE BEST ONE ON THE GLOBE. DIY ADD A CO2 ENRICHMENT PURGING INTO YOUR WATER TANK AT THE LEVEL WERE WATER SPAYS AND INTO THE OPEN AIR PART OF YOUR TANK. ~PURGING 75 / 125 PPM AND PUT IT ON A TIMER TO PURG EVERY SETTING ( DEPENDING ON WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO CLONE) . EXAMPLE; TOMATO PLANTS) SET THE TIME AT EVERY 12 HOURS AND YOUR CO2 AT ~~ 75 PPM FOR 48 HOURS THEN INCREASE BY DAY ~20% .LET ME KNOW PLEASE IF YOU WANT TO NETWORK ON BOTH OF THE SYMPTOMS/ YOUR SYSTEM .MY SYMPTOMS. YOU HAVE KNOWLEDGE THAT I DON'T I HAVE KNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE NOT YET APPLIED TO YOUR SUPERVISOR CLONING MACHINE.
WHAT CAN IT HURT BY USE HELPING ONE ANOTHER. LOVE YOU VIDEO I DID SUBSCRIBE.

Why would you want to put CO2 into the root zone? Roots need oxygen, not carbon dioxide.

@@bkilpatrick1909 Makes no biological sense. Supplement the leaves with CO2, not the roots. Especially at night when they reverse and consume oxygen and produce CO2 like us. Whatever system you’re talking about is actually below my normally occurring 750ppm atmosphere anyway so it wouldn’t even do anything, unless you’re meaning to add an additional 75-125 ppm to the existing level?

    • @bkilpatrick1909

@@bkilpatrick1909 I’m just trying to understand what you’re trying to say. Please explain how adding a minuscule amount of extra CO2 to the root zone will aid plant growth. If you’re not able to explain the theory behind the system due to “contractual obligations”, or a non disclosure agreement, then it’s pure bro science. There is lots of BS out there these days, and it’s getting a little harder each year to wade through it all. I’m all ears and willing to learn something new though, but what does it do exactly?
