Thank you so much for this video. I've grown tomatoes for 65 years some of the best in the county. I will definitely use your method on my next crop. I tend to like a lot of the heirloom tomatoes, they tend to grow tall, and have large heavy fruits. This is definitely the best method for staking tomatoes that I've ever seen. The aloe makes perfect sense and I have several of them growing in my greenhouse. Can't wait till spring. Thank you

Aloe won't help with B.E.R. BER is the result of a lack of calcium and less often, poor watering habits. If your soil has a lack of calcium, add bone meal to your beds. Aloe DOES, however, help the water spread throughout the soil much like soap nuts or quillaja saponaria will, ensuring no dry pockets.

I REALLY REALLY appreciate the time you took to share this with us! I am going to try to do this method with my Bells of Ireland flowers. After 5 seasons of trying to get these notoriously hard to germinate flowers to get started, with this method you just showed, I may just have a fighting chance to get them to grow! Brilliant video, practicality meets beauty. Growing the tomatoes in raised beds 1m+ high will create a walkway and no need to crouch. Better for us older gardeners😅

Thank you so much for the step by step process from seed to an abundance of juicy tomatoes. The end result with all of the tomatoes hanging in the tunnel trellis was truly a beautiful sight to behold. You have inspired me to give it a go.
During WW" we used a similar system in raised beds on stagings three feet clear of the floor at either side of a large greenhouse and trained up just under the glass to the ridge. We could walk between the two stagings to work on them and produced excellent fruit at 46 degrees North.

I remember in the 1970's going to my Grandma's house and after Supper She would dig holes in the garden and put the left over table scraps in them and cover it up. She had a very big Garden every Summer. I'm trying your way this Summer.
I hate getting down on my knees and wading through all the vines. I'm allergic, so digging through them always makes me itch like crazy. This way of growing tomatoes is so easy on the allergies (and the knees). Oh how awesome! My garden will be beautiful with archways of tomatoes. Spectacular video. Thank you for the ideas.
Cover with clear plastic in early spring, then open just the ends during warm spring days. Close ends for frosty nights! Put in a cucumber plant to! PVC pipes for the arched ribs.

I am curious what aloe is supposed to do. When a seedling is coming out, it doesnt need a lot of help. Maybe the aloe helps it start the germination? Maybe a higher percentage?

I am curious what aloe is supposed to do. When a seedling is coming out, it doesnt need a lot of help. Maybe the aloe helps it start the germination? Maybe a higher percentage?
