    Best stretching advice I heard was to do passive stretches to unlock a bit of flexibility then do active stretches under load to build strength and mobility in that newfound rom

    I always liked stretching for injury prevention, especially patellar luxation and in case of carpal tunnel syndrome

    0:17 That is a great example that quickly shows difference between flexibility and mobility.

    I read somewhere that stratching can increase risk of injury during weighted strenght excercises
    Exercises under load can increase range of motion, for me it was romanian deadlift with dumbbells

    • @calimove
      @calimove  8 місяців тому

      Correct stretching increases passive range of motion and reduce muscle tension. When it comes to strangth training you need that muscle tension to produce strength and to stabilize your joints.

    But I like stretching still. Which I believe the old Version Mobility has. Not sure about the 2.0 mobility, which it show more details, which I might buy.

  • @tristanb239
    @tristanb239 8 місяців тому

    Idk how much I believe this, dynamic stretching is just as important, if not the same thing as mobility.
