i dont know how often you get this comment but the silly names at the beginning of episodes literally always make me laugh and put me in a good mood. this one got me good. thank you for being you, and i'm glad the longer wait between videos wasn't anything serious!
Yes! And I like the "hi!" at the beginning as well. If the video has already started when the sound turns on, I always have to rewind so I get to hear that. 😊
I love it bc my husband used to do this. Back in the day he would go to our neighborhood video store and he’d give them a made up name like Ira Whitbissel or Zed Portazeebee. They’d start laughing when they saw him coming knowing he was gonna give them some made up goofy name. I love this about Mack too. He’s a knee slapper.
I also love the funny names at the introduction of each video. Sometimes I think the only reason I watch is to listen to what silly name is used. When I think he can't come up with something funnier than the last video I am always happy to see he does....it always makes me laugh....who would think a silly thing like this is so enjoyable.
My knees hurt just watching you remove that floor glue! And my right arm fell off. But it all came out so nice. I love watching this transform in to YOUR home.
You have a real talent for seeing in your mind's eye what you want and then being able to convert it into an actuality. I really couldn't see where you were going with this but wow, what a fantastic result! Love that rug, it really ties the room together. Good to see Jason at the end. I hope he and his little family are all doing well.
I can see your stress level has gone down and you are really enjoying fixing your own place up. I am so happy for you and wishing you the best. You're doing a great job!
Those LED lights are even better than the old florescent undercabinet lights my father used to install in our homes, at the insistence of my mother, who used to be an operating room nurse & wanted her kitchen to be a CLEAN ROOM!!
My husband and ripped out our carpet and tiles to put LVP down. It was daaaays of scraping glue, and using the jack hammer type tool to chisel out the tile adhesive. Honestly, the long pole scraper took most of the carpet glue up no problem (but it wasn’t a lot of glue..just squiggling lines). But..I love my new floors!!!!! Totally worth it.
Welcome back. I am glad to see you got your home together. It's a good thing I am an old Lady because if I were a young whippersnapper, I would be in your kitchen, cooking a great Italian feast, for the King of the house. Laughter was always a turn-on for me. I have to stop talking before they call me a dirty old Lady and carry me away. Welcome back, Tiger.
I love Tia Weston’s channel. I love the dynamic between her and her dad. I’m going to try again to give a shoutout to Rose Renovations. I think she’s super funny, and her boyfriend is every boyfriend that gets roped into helping with renovations. And there are dogs.
I so enjoy your videos - come for the satisfaction of the reveal, stay for the moose jokes - and you inspired me to give my own kitchen a refresh! I’ve hated my cabinets since I moved in and now my kitchen is what I’ve wanted! Difficult and time consuming but worth it. Finally hosting Thanksgiving in a kitchen to be proud of. Thanks for the motivation!
I love how you have done the living room, simple and tasteful. That glue on the floor - I felt your pain, in my knees , my back, my brain - what a job!!! Well done
WOW ! Everything is perfect ! The colors you used, the furniture, decor, and *THAT RUG* !! It’s fascinating how you can envision something before creating it, then create it. Great job !
Huge transformation!!! Lighter Brighter and the rug plus furniture pops off the white floor and grey walls. Excellent Job. Cute Moose screen saver too. Congratulations on your new home!!!!
I don't usually watch a video more than once unless it's for a recipe but I have watched this one 3 times. Its so amazing. Mack you are a very hard worker & artistic. ❤
Great job, Mack! I love the kitchen backsplash, the living room rug, your teal bottles, the new light fixtures, all of it really. Can’t imagine how tired you were when all was done. Happy holidays in your new place!
I love the vibe so far. When I saw your Faith no more posters. I ran downstairs get them out of the tubes I’ve stored them in…25 years ago when we bought the house. I’ve put them beside my husband work computer. He loved it.
I love the transformation , it looks awesome !!!! I do not even want to think about how bad your knees and back were hurting by the time you were finished with this room . It is beautiful , you did a great job . If you could just get your Moose to give you a massage , lol !!! Tell Jason hello and hope he is having a great time with his baby girl !!! See ya next week.
it’s amazing to see your creativity in making such a beautiful space! you have elevated it to something that would be in a magazine! and that rug totally ties it all together! sometimes i have trouble finishing stuff too! but i am making a fence for a chicken 🐓 coop , and tomorrow i will get to film a HGTV style reveal to see how Dixie (the chicken 🐔)likes it 😂
Another awesome video Mack 💯 the floor, painting floors and walls three different colors, decorating and new sectional gave your family room a wow factor for sure 🙂 It was nice to see Jason on the video. By the way, it looks like the three invisible moose, did not track through your wet painted floors for three days 😅 well mannered or well herded 👍
It turned out simply stunning! I love your Moose face on your computer screen. In fact, my daughter was out shopping at Tractor Supply. When I saw the stuffed moose and several moose figurines, the first thing that came to mind was you, Mack. ❤
I'm sorry to hear that you went to so much trouble and expense to remove the floor glue :( But I really admire your persistence and it all looks great!
I did the opposite of you, but get you totally. I kept all my trim white, and went crazy on the walls. So many years, I kept my decor thinking of resale, and as it turned out, it worked great. But now...all bets are off. ;) Sherwin Williams "Rivulet" is my Aqua (What you call Teal) and 2 precious ladies painted my kitchen cabinets in that using an amazing paint they get somewhere up North (We are in Texas)....3 years later..I don't think anything would hurt this stuff. I am the cleaning queen, and it is still pristine.
Last image is awesome. Looks like someone is creeping outside your kitchen taking a photo. Love the video and that carpet will be perfect for your grand daughter to play on!
Perfect timing I needed some company and motivation to get some laundry and cleaning done. My family are coming to my house from Canada to hang out for thanksgiving break!
I AM DEAD. I am dead. Have you been listening? Dead I am. Because this latest video - the one that took 2 weeks of your life to create, during which I worried about your health and wellbeing btw - has slayed me. I hope you’re happy now! Seriously, I remain gobsmacked. At your ability to create awesomeness from the absolute absence of it. Thank you for this content and everything that you poured into it. Bravo!
I must admit when you were first describing the colors I was not thrilled but after it was all together, you were right. It really looks nice. Good job. You really have good taste. God bless in your new home.
This used to be a garage looks better than any room inmy home. I'm hoping to find someone locally to pay, to help me , last person while they dropped me at the laundry, came back stealing items thinking I dod'nt know, then got to taking more. To sell so she could then show off for her grandkids plus buy her habits, be substances & all kinds of stuff. Karma . I wish you lived closer . I'd pay you . May you & those you touch , always be blessed
Awesome! You've really made that house into a home. That rug is really cool. I decided with a 4 day weekend I would paint my bedroom from a really dark blue to a light Scandinavian blue. We'll see how it goes...
I love watching your videos. They are so informative in a way that is super relatable and real. As in real world advice, not just something that you hear and its like "sure that sounds great in theory, but to actually apply that in my life is difficult". No, your advice is realistic for me and im sure so many others. And then watching everything come together whether it be renovating your own home to cleaning someone else's home to transforming a hoarder home on top of the wonderful advice you provide is just the absolute icing on the cake. You have inspired me to try more in my own life to do the difficult things, even when they seem insurmountable. Thank you.
Good to see you back in action. Hope you didn't tweak your back again moving all that around. Adore the rug (black, white, gray, and X accent color is one of my favorite combinations) and good for you for getting it big enough for the room. Looking forward to seeing more of you.
Crazy! We just painted our walls white today and you are correct that one coat cover was a big fat lie! So now we basically have stone washed walls and that is how we are going to roll.
You putting your foot on the doorknob like you were actually thinking about using it to give you a boost but then changing your mind and going for the ladder just cracked me up!! You are so incredibly funny and your videos always make my day. My teenage daughter is having boyfriend troubles and of course taking it out on me and her father so I needed something to life my spirits lol. You are right on time my friend
Beautiful! When you started😮 the "garage" room, I thought anything would look better than what it looked like. It looked like a professional did it!! Plus, the under cabinet lights really did it for the kitchen!
Just wanted to say, I've been working on cleaning out my dad's apartment before he starts chemo in January. it's an absolute mess and has several health hazards that I don't want to be there when his immune system will not be able to handle it. It's really hard doing it all myself- I'm jealous of your height, as a 5'0 person!- but listening to your videos while working at it has been super helpful in keeping me focused, motivated, and helps me to think about what is okay for me to get rid of, and what might cause him more stress if it's a hoarding issue. Thank you so much for them!
Ahhh, the foliage and decorative glass in the kitchen... a true midwestern home. Thanks for uploading this. It's helping motivate me to scrub all the gummed up paint out of my new place's kitchen cabinet hinges. I'd just buy new ones, but they're GENUINELY nice inset hinges that would probably run $250 to replace. But 21 doors, two hinges a door..... Oof. I'm dying.
You’re certainly right on trust the process. That looks amazing. Love the carpet, love your channel, and hey love you too. Keep up the wonderful stuff you do by helping other folks that really need it.
That floor was such a huge job, but I really enjoyed seeing it transform! Finally seeing the pure white paint roll onto its surface was the most satisfying thing I’ve seen for a long while. Massive kudos to you for doing it yourself!
Wow again Mack what a transformation.you really have a good eye hun xx it was hard work ..but so worth it x love it x great job 👏 well done .. I'm impressed xx 😊❤ x enjoy your beautiful new room x kitchen looks great too x and I like your tattoo too lol x looking forward to your next video x 😊❤ look after yaself x😊
How ironic that water took the glue off! All that scraping and then painting made ME want to nap because I was so tired!!!😂. The rooms look so nice and I love all of the lights.
i dont know how often you get this comment but the silly names at the beginning of episodes literally always make me laugh and put me in a good mood. this one got me good. thank you for being you, and i'm glad the longer wait between videos wasn't anything serious!
Yes! And I like the "hi!" at the beginning as well. If the video has already started when the sound turns on, I always have to rewind so I get to hear that. 😊
Fun to see how you’re transforming your new digs into something that is just you! Looking good!! Feeling great, I’d imagine.
SAME DUDE ❤❤❤

When I think he can't come up with something funnier than the last video I am always happy to see he does....it always makes me laugh....who would think a silly thing like this is so enjoyable.
The rug really pulled the room together. Great vision.
Yes it did absolutely beautiful 😍
My knees hurt just watching you remove that floor glue! And my right arm fell off. But it all came out so nice. I love watching this transform in to YOUR home.
😂😂😂and my right arm fell off..,
😂 my lower back was in knots.
I like, Matt, your detailed explanations of what works & what doesn't work in your house renovations -- we learn from the Best Handyman on You Tube!!
You have a real talent for seeing in your mind's eye what you want and then being able to convert it into an actuality. I really couldn't see where you were going with this but wow, what a fantastic result! Love that rug, it really ties the room together.
Good to see Jason at the end. I hope he and his little family are all doing well.
well said...I totally agree, but gee whiz that funny name at the intro was awesome.
I can see your stress level has gone down and you are really enjoying fixing your own place up. I am so happy for you and wishing you the best. You're doing a great job!
I love under cabinet lighting! Makes a huge difference
Those LED lights are even better than the old florescent undercabinet lights my father used to install in our homes, at the insistence of my mother, who used to be an operating room nurse & wanted her kitchen to be a CLEAN ROOM!!
Your home is looking great…you are such a hard worker! So happy for you!!!👍🏻
You are such a motivator. Everything is really coming together. ❤
I know this sucked for you, but absolutely satisfying for me to watch you scrape up the glue. Thank you! 🙏🏼
You suggested Tia Weston once before and she is fabulous. I never miss it. Thank you for the heads up.
It's wild what a difference paint can make. Looks great!
I know scraping the carpet glue off the floor was a sucky job but it was so satisfying to watch. The room turned out really great.
Love the moose screen saver 😅😂😊❤
I do as well.❤
Welcome back.
Mack, you are loved. lol.
JaniceWilliams, I was thinking the same thing! Except I'd be cooking good old Appalachian fare! 🤣
…What an incredible transformation!…
You’ve got to be proud of this one! WOW!
I love Tia Weston’s channel. I love the dynamic between her and her dad.
I’m going to try again to give a shoutout to Rose Renovations. I think she’s super funny, and her boyfriend is every boyfriend that gets roped into helping with renovations. And there are dogs.
"There are dogs" was all you had to say 😍

The rug was a nice touch. Really pulls it all together.
*Absolutely incredible! You've transformed an ordinary room into a stunning living space, and every step of the process was so creative.* 💯💯💯❤❤❤
WOW ! Everything is perfect ! The colors you used, the furniture, decor, and *THAT RUG* !! It’s fascinating how you can envision something before creating it, then create it. Great job !
You are not *just* a decoration, sir. You are a *masterpiece*. You and your spin kicks.
The house is coming along beautifully 😊
Huge transformation!!! Lighter Brighter and the rug plus furniture pops off the white floor and grey walls. Excellent Job. Cute Moose screen saver too. Congratulations on your new home!!!!
The living room is really eye-catching. The rug pulled everything together. Nice!!
I don't usually watch a video more than once unless it's for a recipe but I have watched this one 3 times. Its so amazing. Mack you are a very hard worker & artistic. ❤
Wow unrecognizable, light and bright!
Yay! You posted! I was suffering from withdrawals!! 😂
Great job, Mack! I love the kitchen backsplash, the living room rug, your teal bottles, the new light fixtures, all of it really. Can’t imagine how tired you were when all was done. Happy holidays in your new place!
The paint makes the room look SO much bigger and cleaner. Love the garage floor paint too!
Your living room looks cool with the teal trim. You are so talented.
I absolutely love the area rug
Such an hard work…and wonderful results…enjoy your new home Mack…
Wow, that was a lot of hard work, Mack! You have turned this house into a clean, cozy home! Way to go!!!
That house do be looking awesome, Mr. B. Chuck Butter.
His new name made me get martini in my nose. Ouch!

Wow,i gotta say i'm impressed! Everything looks great! Nice job.
I love how you are transforming this house…great job!❤
It was worth the wait, Mack! Thank you for sharing your content with us!!! Much love!!!
My knees ache just watching this 🥺
Mop water, robots in disguise. I LOVE that rug. The lights you put up around the edge really set the room off very well.
I love Tia. She is so calming.
I agree. Already watch her channel. Love what she's doing to the little house in North Dakota.
Wow!! That doesn't even look like the same house. I'm loving watching it all come together.
I love the vibe so far. When I saw your Faith no more posters. I ran downstairs get them out of the tubes I’ve stored them in…25 years ago when we bought the house. I’ve put them beside my husband work computer. He loved it.
❤️❤️❤️
LOVE LOVE LOVE the entire room. Well done. The carpet did it for me.
"Trust the Process" are definitely true words when doing any designing!

Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I am rooting you from Hawaii. 🍀🍀🍀
How DARE you not put out an incomplete video and not run yourself ragged for this channel! It looks amazing. Way to go.
my favorite parts of this video were the rug design and the last pic of the kitchen lighting
Your vision turned out absolutely fabulous 😁
Another awesome video Mack 💯 the floor, painting floors and walls three different colors, decorating and new sectional gave your family room a wow factor for sure 🙂
It was nice to see Jason on the video. By the way, it looks like the three invisible moose, did not track through your wet painted floors for three days 😅 well mannered or well herded 👍
Enjoying these makeovers
I also enjoy the one dollar house
Well done 👏
So very happy for you Mack. ❤️🥹
The room looks great! Very comfortable. The rug is awesome. You will enjoy that space so much with your favorite things😊
So excited to see this pop up!
As someone who would rather cut off an arm than paint anything, I'm super impressed that you did all that. Looks great!
I gotta admit, I was scared there for a second, but you really pulled it all together beautifully! I love it! It looks very cozy! ❤
Looks comfortable and homey. I like that. Well done Moose Man.
I did the opposite of you, but get you totally. I kept all my trim white, and went crazy on the walls. So many years, I kept my decor thinking of resale, and as it turned out, it worked great. White floor looks fantastic. Tremendous!
Very nice, it turned out great! The lighting under the cabinets really brightened it up. I need to order some. ❤
Thank you, for being you. It helps me being me easier, and more accepting and less ashamed.
That floor was such a huge job, but I really enjoyed seeing it transform! Finally seeing the pure white paint roll onto its surface was the most satisfying thing I’ve seen for a long while. Massive kudos to you for doing it yourself!
Living room looks pretty cool! I love the teal pop that you have throughout your house… very cohesive and makes for a great palette. ❤😊❤
Have you ever watched Baumgarten fine arts restoration? Your scraping of your floor reminded me of that channel
I had the same thought!
I was thinking the same thing!!!
Really cool new light fixtures! Painting a floor is really fun and easy. . . Spill some paint, just roll it out, no drop cloth necessary.
The suckatude of that carpet glue was worthy of a moose sized spin kick.
Wow. Buff chuck butter 😅😂xx wow. The thumb nail alone wow xx great to see ya funky self again xx 😊❤
I haven't looked forward to a video so much in ages! Out done yourself Mack. Humor galore was the cherry on top❤
How ironic that water took the glue off! All that scraping and then painting made ME want to nap because I was so tired!!!😂. The rooms look so nice and I love all of the lights.
Absolutely stunning! I love the teal and absolutely love the rug!!!!
