I blame this video for spending about $150 on this Spyder hole saw. But, tools are grown men's toy and I just cannot resist. Keep it going though.
I"ve been in the carpentry business for forty plus years..and I can say without a doubt...spyder has fantastic tools!!...and their whole saw is the best!
I came to find out how to mount the hole saw part to the quick connector but this didn't show any of that and the guy was so quick like he was in a hurry. not helpful to me at all.
Gonna need you to slow down a bit on that whole stacking of bits to expand part...the manufacturer website says that it requires a second adapter but this video doesn't show that

Just purchased one with the quick eject arbor. The arbor is a great idea and does work. The 2-3/8 hole saw made one side of a concrete block hole, and then cracked in 6 places.
I saw another video where the guy used his Spyder hole saw on concrete not knowing it was not meant for concrete. He contacted Spyder and they sent him a new one.
@@paulbest3172 I did take the saw back to Menards and they promptly refunded the price. I purchased a diamond bit saw and it worked fine...but I'm more poor..😞

How does this compare to the tried and true Milwaukee hole saw kits?
We think the push button plug ejection is a game changer.

I was using one today...until a borrowed hammer drill dropped that puppy down a cinderblock wall. Now I'm out of $40... :/
The blowout..iiidk...seems worse than usual
How hard you push at the ending of the cut will affect blowout, drill partway in each side for a cleaner cut but it is a rough construction tool. Not for fine work.
Works only with Dewalt

I was looking for a tutorial in how to use these as I have never owned them. This was not useful at all for us who are not tool conscious people (some of us being females).
