    I love Lowe's... they give me 10% off (of everything!) for being an honorably discharged veteran. God bless Lowe's --- and their home country of Canada.

      I live in South Florida. Same here. They give we vets 10% off also. It typically comes with a “thank you for your service”. At Home Depot, just asking for a discount you are sometimes made to feel like a mooch. No, I’m not active duty or retired. Just an 8 year active duty, honorably discharged vet. That’s a no-go at Home Depot. I really appreciate Lowe's, and when time came to buy $5000 in deck material, I was happy to not give the business to HD.

      Up here in Canada they don't give any discounts to vets. It's not fair.

    Would it be acceptable to use this system for a driveway? Thanks.

    Wondering what is the approximate ratio between the number of 6x9 and 6x6 stones that are used. I have a 300 sq ft area. Should I assume 150 sq ft of 6x6 and 150 sq ft of 6x9 so the ratio is 1 to 1?

    So if I use paver based panels (0:54) does that mean I can skip the gravel and sand altogether?

    • @jasonr9449
      @jasonr9449 3 роки тому +2

      I believe they were saying instead of the 6 inches of gravel base, you would still lay the weed fabric, 1 inch of sand and then panels. IMO the gravel base is gonna last a lot longer (if done correct). goodluck!

    What kind of stone is used for the retaining wall in this video?

    • @lowes
      @lowes  7 років тому +1

      Joe Watts sorry, the retaining wall was built before we did the patio so we don't have any details on it.

      Thanks for the reply. Last question: Are the PVC pipes 1 inch in diameter? So buy the 1/2 inch in the store?

    I love how they just keep bringing up all these tools I don't have, assuming I have them. "Just grab your plate compactor and run it over the gravel. Simple as that!"
