Thank you . I began plant base life fourteen days ago I have lost a few. Lbs . So happy. But. I need to continue to lower my. Blood sugar and help with my leg pain 🦵.
I didnt realize how much of this lifestyle revolved around being peaceful and loving. I love it! I do believe the world would be much better. Another great interview.
I'm at school getting ready for the children's return tomorrow. Have your videos/interviews playing as I get the classroom ready. Thanks for another fascinating human being. Great to hear. Love from South Africa
Thank you for the information as well as additional documentaries you mentioned “cow -spiracy” and “earthlings” I will watch. I am on my vegan journey.
Thank you for your story! So inspiring learning about more and more of us choosing non-violent lifestyle. I am a SLP working with geriatrics in rehab. I had a few older ladies that n their upper 80’s trying to transition to vegan diet when in rehab. One of my patients succeeded lowering her BG levels from upper 300 to normal by eating starch. She happened to be my patient with swallowing disorder. Unfortunately, not too many folks are inspired to try dietary changes. I e worked in multiple rehab settings observing coworkers’ eating habits. Despite my vegan propaganda, attempts of bringing some transitional food items to our meal gatherings, I have not been able to notice any changes and it’s not my goal to change anybody; however, introducing a new concept about complete diet and lifestyle transformation is the goal, not just for the health but environment, animals, and the Planet. I went vegan overnight 17 years ago after completing reading The China Study and have never looked back. It’s hard to be more accepting of others that consume dead animal flesh and even harder not to be pushy about Veganism seeing others around you being so unaware about animal abuse and suffering… that is why hearing stories like yours and seeing more people transitioning to plants is encouraging. Thank you again for your story! Your puppy is adorable! 🌱🌱🌱👍👍👍👍
My friend has some pretty big dogs he was trying to transition and he said they farted too much so he couldn't do it right now and take all the farting. I find it odd though because it's just a matter of time before they would probably stop farting.
@@VeganLinked I rescued an old Cocker Spaniel. He stunk so bad when I first got him, and his farts were awful. He fumigated the whole room with his farts. I had to hold my breath! Lol. All that stopped when I transitioned him to a vegan diet. He doesn't smell anymore, and his farts don't stink! He is my velcro dog now. He loves me to pieces, and I love him right back!!
It sounds funny, but I feel like I am now too thin. I feel good, but I am at 5'-8", 143 pounds, type 2 diabetic or I think maybe 1.5 now. I consume just enough so my sugars don't go too high. The guy being interviewed eats like me but leaner. Oh, I have a 28" waist.
I can only assume that you need to eat eat whole plant foods exclusively. And this would resolve your T2D. And I don't know what too thin is as long as you're getting enough variety and calories and are healthy I don't think it matters if you're thin. Most super centenarians are thin.
@@VeganLinked I do eat a whole food plant-based diet exclusively and have for years. I have a 28" waist. Clothes are hard to find these days. I can feel all of my bones. My T2 diabetes isn't going away. I thought I had cured myself of it for 8 years, but a few months before a hip replacement I saw a doctor for pain meds and found out my sugars were in the 200s. I went back to raw, got my sugars down, had surgery, and have remained raw since last September.
@@charliemorrison8168 nice, I usually try to qualify whole plant food with "a healthy variety". For your case with a pre existing condition special attention to certain foods makes sense at least until you get T2D under control. Do you have a copy of Mastering Diabetes and/or Dr Neal Barnard's book? Do you have a plant based doctor? Normally someone wanting more calories or fat would simply just get healthy servings of nuts, seeds, olives, etc every day with their grains salads and beans. In your case I guess you would need to consult with a plant based doctor to see if you should lay low on fats for now or if these types don't matter. I guess you may do better with beans than potatoes. Potatoes are great generally speaking but may result in a higher glycemic load. But I'm just going off a chart Dr Fuhrman shared. ua-cam.com/video/U_IlJ32Vnh0/v-deo.html
Yeah I guess it's easy to forget which one does especially when you don't eat those products. I think Beyond just uses beet juice. Personally I don't like either one of them but that's just me...
@@jimsuplicki4085 I mean don't get me wrong I love how they offset animals being eaten and I understand they are necessary to an extent... I just wish people would gravitate toward eating simple whole plant foods. And we could develop efficient fast food establishments that offer healthy whole plant foods.... One century I suppose
Thank you Vegan Linked for these frequent and consistent uploads. Soothes my heart knowing there's so many people like these "out there".

I have an interview coming up soon with the owner of V dog :) And I may be interviewing a vet soon.
Great to see a vegan dog! I have Vdog food too! Difficult transitioning my dogs tho..

Beyond doesn't have heme in it, you're thinking about Impossible, who ended up testing animals for its inclusion.
