Thanks for watching! In addition to the episode page resources, Simon created an amazing pdf that contains references, studies, articles, and products (including specific brands) + infographics for everything discussed in this episode and RRP 638. You can download it for free here: plantproof.com/richroll/

I combine feasting and fasting in every day.
I eat one meal a day or Take note,
I water only fast 20 to 24 hrs in between meals
Sometimes I do 30, 48, 72 hrs of fasting in any given week between meals.
      Been two yrs now,
Maybe I should go do a blood test and see what my numbers show..
Those standard blood tests are generally not a good as you might think for checking all your numbers correctly & Accurately.
Now this information about blood tests comes from famous heart doctor. That heart doctor says that most doctors are not doing enough tests to truly check numbers. He says standard tests DO NOT GIVE THE TRUE NUMBERS...plus he says the test scales are way off and average doctors are not giving people good care.. he says doctors are NEGLECTING PATIENTS DAILY & TELLING THEM incorrect numbers, and he says this is a huge disservice to the patients and public..

Rich I’ve been following you for almost 3 years. I’ve learned so much from your podcasts. I’m from Chile, I live in northern Patagonia and here fortunately for us still very normal to eat home made food. My diet is totally plant based, but I think that the most important thing is to try and focus not only plant base, but natural home made food , season food and local food. I mean what’s the use of being plant base if you importing veggie burgers from Australia, or tofu from Europe, our vegan artificial supplements?
Recovering the pleasure of home made food with fresh products will heal us in our bodies and our souls. ❤

This is all such helpful and detailed information that is so thorough for anyone trying to eat plant-based. The nutritionist is incredibly experienced and knowledgeable. I am not even into nutrition but when it comes to your health, i think this is vital so thank you.

Question : I eat plante based all along the warmer seasons. I live in Bretagne , France . In the end of October, l cannot warm my body with my diet and herb tea . May be you live in warm regions or your houses are better heated. Here we have to live with 19° Celsius inside during the winter. I still move a lot, exercise and shower 🚿 cold at 73 in December. I need more calories during the cold times. Brown rice helps…If any body have some advice, I would be happy to read it.😊

I'm from Brasil and I wish most of the population here, this amazing place where we can grow anything, could have access to this. I'll find a way to make it happen. The are many barriers starting with language and poverty (wich we know drives people towards a sickening diet/eating patterns) and going all the way to educational access, researches access etc... I feel privileged for been able to break a few os these barriers and be here. I thank you for breaking a lot os these barriers and be here.

Awesome discussion. I’ve been on a whole food plant based diet for over a decade now. Initially, I noticed energy levels go up and inflammation in my joints go down. But it wasn’t a panacea. I still had gut issues. Once I found Anthony William’s books and approached my issues with more knowledge, I then got to a whole new level of health. Once you’re empowered with his info, you can’t help but feel like you’re on another level with regards to plant based knowledge and disease reversal. Would love to see Anthony as a guest at some point because I believe it would help answer many of these questions and ultimately help others with their health issues.

When I hit age 50, I started having bad acid reflux, heartburn, and IBS. I became quite ill for several months until I found a book online that took care of the problem (Fast Tract Diet, by Norm Robillard . . . Similar, but not identical, to the FODMAP diet). Apparently, millions of people have my problem as well - - Difficulty in digesting complex carbohydrate chains. Many fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts and seeds, and dairy products (even kefir) are problematic for me, unless I eat them in small doses. In fact, after having six years of no digestive problems, I recently got on a health kick and starting eating these “healthy foods” in much higher quantities. I ended up “playing myself” and got very sick again. The point of this diatribe is that not everyone can eat the same way. I would love to eat as I did when I was younger, that is, lots of plants, whole grains, and legumes, etc, etc, but my body, as it ages, has given me an unequivocal NO! It’s annoying but I am limited by this vessel that I live in.

you need to add those foods back to your diet very slowly and in very small quantities at at time, even like a spoon full of beans and slowly build up. That's what Simon was talking about when he said low and slow. You need to build your microbiome back up and that takes time. If you give it more than it can handle you will suffer. I had severe bloating a while back and a Registered Dietician put me on a low FODMAP very restrictive diet and while I felt better in some ways it was not sustainable and I felt intuitively I was missing out on so many nutritious foods. As it turns out I feel this made my gut worse in the long run. So I just jumped in, knew I would suffer in the beginning, but kept adding all plant foods back in bit by bit, slowly, in very small portions - I now can eat ANYTHING, and no bloating!! Also read Fiber Fueled by Dr. B

Your gut is fucked up and has no defense system, our natural human diet as mammals are raw meat, don’t believe me try one piece of raw beef from a good source and watch yourself be amazed at how smoothly it travels through and passes with ease, I’m not joking doing this myself after years of having my health fail me for most of my life and believing nonsense like this, remember everything on earth wants to live and has defense mechanisms to try to survive, animals have their body to defend themselves physically while plants have poison as their defense mechanism, especially seeds their so helpless to its surrounding that it has no other way of surviving apart from being very poisonous, it’s not normal to not not be able to digest the food we eat or require any kind of supplements

Just eat real whole food. It’s that simple. Don’t get it out of a box and if it has more then one ingredient put it down! This include both plant and…. ANIMAL products!

I have attempted to meditate many times in my life and prior to this CD the only success I've experienced is with live guided meditation. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxzpa8CIfZcihW4Z0F_ja0QF3W9KIatrsq This is the first CD I've used that cuts through my unmedicated ADHD and enables me to truly relax and experience a quiet and energizing interval. The instructors voice is very soothing and pleasant to listen to. I am easily able to sit successfully through the entire CD, and for quite some time after. I cannot adequately express how tremendously helpful this CD has been on my spiritual journey!! Two thumbs up and 10 stars!

I watched Part 1 (episode # 636) of Simon guesting on Rich's Show and it was certainly apparent how knowledgeable and personable he is. That said, I doubt that I'll watch Part II as I found Part 1 a little 'too in the weeds' (or 'too in the plants' if you will) to wrap my small brain around (concurrently, I'm trying to educate myself on Russian history that might partially explain Putin's decision to invade Ukraine). Perhaps, if I had converted to a plant based diet earlier in my life, my brain would be bigger and more able to comprehend many of the studies that Simon talks about. While I'm typing this, I'm hoping that Rich and Adam are wrapping another segment of 'Roll On' that will then be uploaded for our listening/viewing pleasure on Thursday, March 3/22.

Im 24 years old and i got hemorrhoids and it just would not heal i remember when i was on a plant based lifestyle i would use the restroom twice a day and soft stools. After just 3 days of eating plant based and using aloe vera as usual ive healed my digestive system and hemorrhoids. I included spinning for cardiovascular health and chewing my food more and drinking more water. I cut out refined grains and chips and i was healed no more bleeding and saved a trip to the doctor or even worse surgery!

Great content. Love your work Rich. Being an avid consumer of Nutritionfacts I feel the need to add that multi vitamins with B12 as a component, the B12 can become corrupted with the other components to create a analog which can "plug in" the B12 receptors and thereby prevent whole B12 from doing its job. So he recommends that you take a dedicated B12 outside of what may be oresent in a multiV. Also Morton makes a 60 percent potassium chloride 40 sodium salt infused with Iodine.

He mentioned he was going back to Australia so maybe that's why. I am not too impressed compared to other Health experts. This guy is advocating wheat which nobody else does. Wheat is genetically modified and can cause problems even if it is organically-grown. If not, it is dried with glyphosate which is an antibiotic and destroys the gut. Lots of other comments he made I found lacking in wisdom. He knows the basics but I feel like I've wasted my time here.
