Souths players were upset at the time, because they had just lost in a prelim final and the players were looking at anyone to have a spray. It's that simple, move on. Why not talk about the other few thousand fans giving it to them at the end of the game? Sledging is a part of the game. Learn to live with it or go play another sport. It's that simple.

Only time a trainer should be on the field is for a stoppage and in play that’s it he can tell them what the coach wants during the stoppage then get off the field and resume play
