      So the drummer left on a measly wage of £70 a week when he could have been earning £2,000. And McCartney robbed the guitarist only because he claimed the right to be human and live his life outside of Wings. He robbed and kicked him out of the group under a fictitious pretext, spreading the myth that the guitarist turned out to be unprofessional and could not play the solo, which Paul played with ease. From Denny Laine, McCartney, with meanness and deceit, bought the copyrights to the Wings' joint songs, including the most commercially successful song in the UK, Mull Of Kintyre 1977. And during the Beatles period, McCartney plagiarized songs: Hey Jude, Yesterday, Blackbird. Later he passed off Lennon’s Yellow Submarine, In My Life and the joint Michelle, Eleanor Rigby, She’s Leaving Home, With A Little Help From My Friends as his own songs. Friends, don’t you think you’ve been paying this moral monster for too long?

    I lived in England for a year to study abroad. When not working I spent my time traveling and experiencing various lifestyles, cultures and wonders I never had before, including those in Scotland. I made countless friends, including a loving relationship. I discovered this song while there and immediately fell in love with it. It broke my heart when I eventually had to go back home to the states-England became a second home to me, and I continue to miss it dearly. This song reminds me of my entire time there and how much I yearn to someday return and maybe even become a dual citizen. Such a beautiful song, thank you Sir McCartney for uploading this.

      @ralphreinert Рік тому

      @@jayjaynella4539 I expect you have already found out what a mull is, but I send you the Wikipedia entry here.
      "The name is an anglicisation of the Gaelic Maol Chinn Tìre (Scottish Gaelic pronunciation: [mɯːl̪ˠ çiɲˈtʲʰiːɾʲə]), in English: "The rounded [or bare] headland of Kintyre", where chinn and tìre are the genitive forms of ceann head and tìr land, country respectively. The English variant Cantyre derives from the phrase ceann tìre [kʲʰaɲˈtʲʰiːɾʲə] "head land".
      Mull as a geographical term is most commonly found in southwest Scotland, where it is often applied to headlands or promontories, and, often more specifically, for the tip of that promontory or peninsula.[citation needed]
      The term mull derives from Scottish Gaelic: maol "bald, bare, baldness, bareness".[1][2] The geographical reference is to a land formation bare of trees, such as a rounded hill, summit, mountain, promontory or headland."

What a singer and a professional entertainer, puts younger artists to shame. Just the thought of him passing on makes me feel sad as if he is a member of my family. What a damn legend.
