Did it fix your problem? I've had to chan GB r the radiator and water pump cus they were leaking. That stupid dash code came up. I've changed the thermostat, temp sensor and the temp sensor connector cus it was kinda dry rotted. But it still comes back on. I've seen that if I disconnect the battery for about 5 minutes the message will come off and everything is back to normal but after a couple weeks itll come back on. No, I haven't tried your method. So, did it work?

Looks like I'm reinstalling my thermostat I didn't realize the notch on the gasket is supposed to line up with the little pin on the thermostat
So did it fix the problem??
