I have an '08 Cadillac Escalade...Ty! this helped me fix my ac myself, I put a can of the pro a/c in and as the refrigerant re-pressurized the system, the compressor kicked in and its all good now! Best of all I am the hero in the eyes of my wife! Much appreciated!
Oh my goodness! You saved everything! I was trying to use the ac manifold gauges after vacuuming and after getting it down to -30 mercury I've been stuck looking at everything but this. Thanks you soooo very much for this video!!!!!! I was about to quit and lose all my savings and care!!!
I've got a family member with a 2007 GMC Yukon with the A/C light blinking for a few seconds. They never had any issues with the A/C system until yesterday 4/8/23 when I noticed the light blinking. So I'm following correctly...the top port...press it with it a small screwdriver and I should hear alot of pressure or a little pressure? And if there's only a little pressure I hear, then it most likely just needs recharged due to low pressure? Still kinda confused on that part? Also if it's an ambient temp sensor, where is that sensor located and what exactly does an ambient temp sensor supposed to do?

When I check the pressure in that valve to determine if there is pressure or not, does the vehicle need to be running?
No it does not need to be running
