Does that black thing hanging from the bottom of the crash cut back its sustain or is it just decorative?
It does cut sustain, it’s meant to be placed on top of the cymbal to reduce volume, however that kills the sound completely, and I found putting it underneath cut a lot of the sound but still at least allowed it to ring a little bit!
