Apparently Ken Penders had signed some sort of documentation that his characters belonged to Archie, but when it came time for those documents to be useful in the court case, Archie just couldn't find them. This brought some people to believe that Ken Penders stole them so that he could still do his echidna bullshit independent of Archie's comics. And yes, it looks fucking atrocious. Even his long time fans hate it.
That was a pretty good video, but there are a lot of small things you missed. Which is probably the reason why most iceberg videos have a health meter to show how sure the person is. For example, Sonic does indeed have a house in Sonic and the secret rings and since it is mentioned in Generations and Genertions is mentioned in Forces, he just have to assume that it's canon
Could be misremembering but I believe he had one in Sonic Battle as well? He retrieved Emerl in a beach and ended up carrying him to a neighborhood he’s in around the beginning of the game. I’d say he may have one in Chronicles but that was probably Tails’ workshop.
15:09 What? This is just plain wrong. Popful Mail got a release over here on Sega CD, with English voice acting and everything! i waS NOT PREPARED FOR THAT SNAPCUBE REFERENCE (22:56)
I never get tired of iceberg explanation and I'm also a big fan of Sonic. You're awesome and I love your commentary
19:32 I've never seen a monkey so serious in my life.
0:58 it’s literally Doctor Ivo Robotnik backwards
@@ronin1559 You are probably right, but the game itself could also not be canon
The "Madin" thing is a nickname one of the developers of Sonic CD left. He also left that nickname in Shenmue.
"and Sega never used a human girl ever again"
ok, who's gonna tell him?
He probably forgot sonic06 exist
It was a joke
You take back what you said about Sonic Underground!
26:32
and here i was thinking that i'm the only one who does that ,lol
i mean imaging sonic is running
15:09 What? This is just plain wrong. Popful Mail got a release over here on Sega CD, with English voice acting and everything! The completely justified outcry from western fans of the Japanese version caused Sega to stop plans for Sister Sonic and for another company, Working Designs, to publish it instead.
im legit shocked that sonic.exe was left out, that's like, the most popular and historic creepypasta, it deserves a spot in the iceberg
I agree!
Popular and influential yes, but the story itself is so badly written I think it's better that it didn't show up. The less people that are reminded of or introduced to that dumpster fire the better.
10:00 I don't think it was a publicity stunt because you know the movie cats exist right?
23:06 I felt my heart stop for a while looking at it.
23:38 PLEEAASE TELL ME WHAT THAT SONG IS I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR IT EVERYWHERE
18:46 i once managed to create an ashura knuckles on the 1995 PC port of S3&K,i activated the debug mode while i entered a rainbow giant ring as knuckles on moshroom hill, when i came out, Knuckles's Sprite was full of rings blocking his Sprite, and his color pallet was the same as ashura,i'll try to recreate it someday, but i don't have any proof now.
I think Amy's tarot cards are mentioned in the manual of Sonic CD. I can't remember if it's the Japanese or US version of it since there's some different details in them.
im surprised that Sonic.EXE doesn't appear here. Tails Doll did, the Sonic CD secret screen did...
*EVEN EGGMAN PISSING ON THE MOOOOOON*
timestamp???
Sonny Maurice Hedgehog is probably his full name (not the nickname)
Great video, learned some obscure stuff about sonic, also glad you mentioned those other videos for more info. Would help if you put those videos in the description.
"Nobody knows how or when it got there." Literally like two minutes on youtube or google give you the full account of how it got there.
Wow so much info for sonic that i didn't even have any idea of! Just WOW, and i thought i had known everything about sonic! This video made my day! Thank you so much for doing this! Love and respect from Pakistan! 💖
Entertaining video with so much dang info! I love it! 💖
23:15 : Well, it's something that I've discovered just yesterday in a totally random and unrelated way, but one of the songs in the "Sonic Rush" soundtrack samples the beginning of the song "Bring the Noise", by Public Enemy. And it's this one who have the sample from the Malcolm X speech, so it had just been re-used. If you check the Wikipedia entry of "Bring the Noise", you'll see!
Oh, and the video was really damn good.
"It's a robotic rabbit with a spring"
Me, a fan of FNaF: He Will Come Back
24:47 “more like 6 feet underground”
How orginal
9:26 Sonic 06: are you sure about that?
“Despite being, ummm... awful.”
Me: excuse me what the fuck
