Come on, this is TV. Everyone thinks it works as perfect as it does in shows, and the calls are as crystal clear as they are edited to be. Very few people could cut it as a 911 dispatcher but a lot of them seem to think they know the job. As usual there’s way more involved than what you see on a 10 second entertainment clip.

The way the wife talked she is obviously in denial. The way she repeated herself was like she was told to say that.
If you haven't seen the ending to this episode, you should try to find it. The 2 women were no longer "enemies".

Why didn't they ask the wife more specific questions like "did you see your husband at home right after receiving the call?" and "so if you didn't see him, wouldn't that suggest there's a possibility that he was not at home at that time?"

This story is a part 2 from a previous episode. If I remember correctly they had to make sure they did this by the book b/c of the last time they arrested him and it didn't pan through.

Tracy pollan was awesome as Harper I don't know how she didn't get an emmy I wanted her to come back maybe as a counselor to help other survivors I think the first 5 seasons were the best my favorite SVU squad will always be Liv, Elliot, Fin, Munch ( RIP Richard belzer) Cragen, Cabot , and dr warner

@@marquesjohnson6359 I loved season six and seven more than I did season one. I thought season six and seven were outstanding personally. Season eight was weird. There were some solid episodes but not a ton of truly great episodes. But I thought season nine came back really strong, I have nine as much better than eight..

Tracy Pollan is both a good actress, and a loving and supportive wife to Michael J. Fox. He chose well when he proposed to her years ago. She has stayed by his side through all his serious health issues with Parkinson's.
I didn't know she was married to Michael! He's my hero, and was my dad's, we lost him to Parkinson's in 2014. I have a tattoo of the MJF Parkinson's Foundation symbol on my wrist.

That’s not unheard of it goes to cops all around so cops in the area often just show up, weird detectives would show up though when there’s no evidence of a crime hahaa

@guy rose cops only respond in order of what they believe is most urgent. They rarely respond fast enough to help in time. I've seen cops take almost 2 days to take a report of SA if its already over.
The way the call ended suggested eminent threat imo

Sad part is they wanted the 911 Caller as a witness to place him under reasonable suspicion. But that 1st victim was so traumatized and angry she'd be pretty easy to cast doubt upon with the Jury. All his Lawyer would need is to cross examine her, prove she has a grudge against him, and her credibility crumbles.

The ending confused me. Did the wife take the blame of killing the guy when it was actually one of the victims who killed him? It was clear by the blonde girl's smile by the end that she is the one who killed him, not the wife. But why would the wife do that?
The wife eventually came to her senses and figured out that the jewelry he had been giving her came from the victims. Duh.

I once heard that if you took the dog some ways away from it's home and clip it's tail that it would run back home out of fear or pain and never leave that home ever again .

@@KarunanithiNRamachandranfrom what I've read, its done today for breeds that have thin tails that are prone to injury. Its mean to prevent future injuries. Throughout history though there have been a myriad of reasons for doing it, a lot of them cruel.

The first few seasons of this show were superb. It did start to get a little far fetched as it went on.
I feel like crying every time I hear about men abusing their power like that. It's sick. Also, I feel like Olivia showed no emotion while questioning Laurie.
She was already too emotionally involved in the case according to the law. She was actually fighting her own emotions the entire time. She felt responsible for not being able to hold him the first time.

Am I remembering incorrectly? With the way it went down, Harper was absolutely the one who was at fault for the death but they made it look like the wife did it. They said it was in self defense, but it was EXTREMELY obvious that it wasn’t. So the ending wasn’t a "karma" one for me, because it seems like the wife is going to jail because of Harper.

Very common after a sexual assault actually. A psychological feeling of uncleanness, plus shock keeping you from feeling temperature well, sometimes there's a self harm aspect as well.
