It's a brain wiring thing. There have been numerous studies into the minds of convicted Pedophilles, and there have been some studies that show they gave less gray matter than a regular person. Then you have to also take into account of possible environmental reasons. Some people become pedophiles due to similar experiences in their own childhood. Some seek power.
The question no one bothers to ask that would have made it easier to find cause is, why a piano teacher would take pictures of his student doing anything other playing the piano, let alone shirtless without the permission or knowledge of the parents? What sucks about this episode is the fact he conditioned his oldest victim to become like him.
I watched the entire episode. His first victim he forced to hurt the little boy. As sick as this episode is, I at least respect the first victim for at least beinglike, "I will serve my time, and I will never be like the man that forced me. I was forced to do this to someone and I have to suffer the consequences". Still, this episode hit me hard, idk how anyone can arrest someone who hurt children and allow them to live long enough to make it to the precinct.
I know this is fictional but I’m glad that kid got to keep his innocence. Not everyone does, this world is cruel and nasty and in a world of cruel and nasty people I’m happy for the kids that get to keep their innocence until they are ready to be curious to do whatever they will do in a consensual healthy manner. For those that get it taken away I hope they get justice whatever they are :(

I had a music teacher in college who really weirded me out. He would make weird comments and just act off. I would freeze up around him. Some of the lessons were at his house and I couldn’t even sing around him, the vibe was that bad. Anyone else just KNOW someone is weird even without them saying anything? I feel like there are more weirdos than real regular ok guys. I’d like to be proven wrong on that but I really doubt it would ever happen.
@Justa Fungui Coins its satisfying to a point, in real life he would be made to serve that 115 years for the rest of his life, with no chance of parole, and never be allowed to hurt more innocent children. But this is only a show, and it does touch on real life problems that no one wants to discuss.
I took piano lessons from a man too and he basically made me sit on his lap everytime we played piano (I was 8) and held my hands/waist/back too kind of like in this video. I knew something was weird about it as a child… luckily I told my parents and we got a new female piano teacher wnd it was normal.
Seeing this even though it's portrayed on television but it still makes my stomach churn. I never had teachers like this growing up, but for those who did I feel sorrow for them. Both genders face these things and the parents should ask for background checks on these teachers. I did like this show though and I'm glad I subscribed. I missed watching this before Castle a decade ago.
This was just absolutely creepy, this was the first time I realized that people actually hurt kids....I was a kid when I saw this episode so it made me unsettled it also taught me to watch my back... keep the clips coming.
I wanna know how the show filmed the kid posing in those photos at the start without it being a problem. I wouldn’t want my kid acting in a storyline like this.
The acting raises awareness for this sort of thing and I'm sure the parents were allowed on set to intervene if they weren't comfortable with anything. While it's uncomfortable to see young children portrayed like this, that is in fact the point of the show. Some people are more comfortable with being an example to make people more comfortable with discussing these difficult topics. It can be hard to separate show from reality, but the child was still somewhat clothed and there were a full crew of people there to reassure the child that everything was fine. I'm sure the actor who played the perv was also there to let the kid know that it was only for tv. It seems creepy from an outside perspective, but I'd rather everything be up-front and in-your-face than the stuff that goes on behind the scenes of children's shows... We remember Rob Schneider, right?
@@callmestumps6954 Some how that makes me feel a lot worse that because the kid was peer pressured by a bunch of adults, he's supposed to think it's fine. While I agree with the fact the kid was relatively clothed, the rest of the argument just makes me feel unease when I think about it.

they really were
The acting and storytelling is pure. It's not as contaminated as some of the latest seasons LOL!

Season 1-12 Season were the best episodes.
At 6:26 that sigh from Munch tells the whole story. Dude knew he hit the pervert jackpot and would now be subject to viewing some truly terrible things.
Pedophiles are 6th degree burns of evil.
Yeah, I've seen this episode before and for some reason I keep thinking that Munch is gonna start destroying that room out of rage.
From what I've heard the police units assigned to sort through evidence like that, cataloguing it and forwarding to prosecutors, they have a very high turnover rate due to how much it affects their mental health.
@@MahsaKaerraworked for a precinct, I was asked if I was up for looking at evidence like that, I flat out refused. My superior was kinda desperate because it really is hard to find people willing to do that. It’s rough…
I love episodes like this, because boys/men can be victims too not just girls/women
You know it's only men who think women don't know this. We do. It's not a competition who gets raped the most, but women stand up for it and males go we get raped too. It's so bizarre.
Even though the majority of victims are women
@@DollfaceLizkah you miss the whole point. It’s A LOT of men and boys that get assaulted by women but they don’t say anything because they know they won’t take it serious
@@DollfaceLizkah realistically it's a pretty even split, the reason the percentages differ officially is because boy/ men are taught at a very early age that they will not only not be believed but publicly ridiculed if they try to point out their abuser. Regardless of whether or not said abuser is a man or a woman.
@@DollfaceLizkah nope. The reason it shows majority is because majority men are likely to NOT report abuse/SA
Boy, this is old. Ironically, Holt never would have been caught in today’s era since everything’s digital.
@C.W.Simpson Productions you have heard of computer forensics??? And the deepest part of any computer is the memory, in other words when you think you've deleted any document or picture pieces of that document or picture stay in your memory of your PC...forensic computer techs have programs that can access that part of your computer.
@@MsWiccanpriestess I know. What I mean is that the only reason Holt was caught was because he took his pics in to be developed and alarmed the worker. That would never happen in today’s age because it’s all digital, ie no need to develop photos.

ever hear of Josh Duggar?
That kid cracked me up "girls? please." and when he said the boys didn't have any clothes on, I couldn't help but laugh at the way he said it
Seems that kid not only had incredible acting skills but also great direction. I think the way he delivered the lines was both funny and disturbing since his tone emphasized his character’s naïveté.
The older episodes were heartbreaking 💔😢
The older episodes were alot more brutal

(0:54), that sudden change on the guy's face, eyebrows drop slightly, cheeks tense. Instant recognition, and none of it is approval. Good man and better actor for being able to portray it well.
Yep, I love actors that convey emotions, not just with words body language, but with facial expressions
I know it's a scripted TV series but this seriously makes me wanna cry knowing how real this is...
I get a little upset when the parents say “well I work late”.
Parents are trying to make a living and put their trust into someone to watch over their kids and those ppl abuse that trust by taking an advantage of those children…
I could never be a parent… I’d become too protective to the point where I’d become toxic to my child..
Like Freddie’s mom from icarly lol
I never understood pedophiles like what’s the attraction to young children
They probs have hormonal problems or something

its bcs it was never normal to begin with. ofc we never understand that and shouldn't even try to understand it.
@@hanindhira Well, no. We should understand it with the intent to better pick up on the traits that many of them share. That makes it easier to prevent scenarios like this.
This show hits you hard, no filters. A stellar performance.
Liv is so chill with her outward deminer inteterunaly she's beyond pissed off especially when the kids tells her about the photos
For those that get it taken away I hope they get justice whatever they are :(
It's fictional but this stuff happens in real life.
@@trinitylivingston1286that’s right and this is a sick world we live in
6:47 right after the "please don't, no that hurts" the whole collection of tapes and the shelves being booked just broke me entirely. the kids he tortured, jesus. things like this happen in real life and currently in real time, it will never be human to me.
I've dealt with this before while working at a daycare. I've never went from calm to full on raging in my life. I think I might've been holding back tears too.
I don't understand why how a man can do that to a little boy what sick high does anyone get from this, PRIEST, TEACHERS, COACHES, ANYONE IN A POSITION OF TRUST WITH SOMEONE KID THAT IS THE DEVILS WORKSHOP 📸📸📸📸
Ofc yall blame the devil when its always the wolf in sheep clothing who hides behind god
They chose those positions so they can abuse people and not be questioned
It’s good that you don’t understand how these people work as that would make you like them
they know it’s sick and wrong, that’s what gets them off
It sickens me really. How can anyone do that to a child 😕 we can't even trust those around us
This takes me back to a dark place in my life from when I was a kid. And because my abusers walked and never suffered any consequences for what they did to me? I’ve always to help kids who have gone through similar situations like myself. So anytime a child ever mentions that someone did something to them, weather I know the child or not, I’m going all the way to protect that child in ANY AND EVERY WAY I CAN!!!
To hurt a child, that's a new level of sick
Sad that this is real life. Such a well put episode.
I wish i could buy dvd's of all law and order, law and order svu and law and order criminal intent seasons and episodes i could watch them forever bcoz they bring so much awareness to so many things that people dont wish to talk about!!!
I have them all on my computer
They have all episodes on Hulu starting season 1
I had a music teacher in college who really weirded me out. He would make weird comments and just act off. I would freeze up around him. Some of the lessons were at his house and I couldn’t even sing around him, the vibe was that bad. Anyone else just KNOW someone is weird even without them saying anything? I feel like there are more weirdos than real regular ok guys. I’d like to be proven wrong on that but I really doubt it would ever happen.
Trust your gut. It may seem weird, but I have felt it too and it's saved my life more times than I can count!
These older episodes really put out awareness
The ending to this one is satisfying. He gets 115 years with chance of parole in 38.
@Justa Fungui Coins its satisfying to a point, in real life he would be made to serve that 115 years for the rest of his life, with no chance of parole, and never be allowed to hurt more innocent children. But this is only a show, and it does touch on real life problems that no one wants to discuss.
The scene with the kid playing the piano and he abruptly stops to say "stop that hurts" ugh.....
This episode was a trip once Munch showed Stabler the video.
yeah you felt conflicted about the young man.
"Maybe the Dog died." 😆
Lol 😆
Munch's weary sigh at 6:24 makes this clip
Because he knows he just hit the perv motherload. Poor guy.
Eww gross Teachers doing that makes me sick to my stomach, some parents are not careful when there children warn them about the incident that happened
Going around getting pix of kids and they are developed at the photomat. No one alerting the authorities until now? Ugh.
Right? Same goes for computer repair places, they're mandated to report CSAM etc. or they better!

“It's pretty quiet in here”
“Maybe the dog died”
LMFAO
I took piano lessons from a man. Nice, but creepy. He did nothing like this though.
I took piano lessons from a man too and he basically made me sit on his lap everytime we played piano (I was 8) and held my hands/waist/back too kind of like in this video. I knew something was weird about it as a child… luckily I told my parents and we got a new female piano teacher wnd it was normal.
My fave law and order franchise episode. Chills, goosebumps, tears… all of the above. Such a heartbreaking but awesome episode.
They're probably just photos of kids that other people provided
@@MizuSky I mean, child actors can end up mess up in the head, I won't deny that. But it's not like any sexual abuse actually happened, so...

Yea I only had to see this episode once! It is engraved in my brain and soul I will not forget all of the emotions I felt watching this! I will never watch this episode again.
When you see Mariska Hargitay with slightly reddish hair, you know it's season 1
I love how Munch just bashes the door
That is so horrible.
I can feel it , the pain , the shame , the memories …..
When they said there's nothing we can do about these photos?!?!
UMMMMMMMMM. I bet that kids _parents_ didn't give that piano teacher the OK to take those kinds of pics of their boy!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬
I shudder when I see stuff like this. I came just a minute away from something like this when I was 13. My Dad picked the perfect time to show up and scare the guy off without ever realizing it. Never did tell him. But looking back ... ugh.
having younger family members and seeing these kinds of people makes me sick to my stomach i would never forgive myself if i let any of them go through what i went through.
5:12 The Dads Realization/Reaction was Perfect
Hoo man, it hits so much harder to hear that kid tell them about the photos so nonchalantly...
And the lack of music, the atmosphere felt almost too real: no thank you
Edit: watched this again... and now I want to throw up. So much worse the second time through
I remember this episode from way back. It's stuck with me for some strange reason..😥
Boy I tell ya, SVU just has some pretty disturbing episodes 🙁😢
That's the kid from Spider-Man 2, the one who said, "How you do that?"
And Stuart Little 2.
I Bet the law and order props/storage room is weird as hell
Hey sometimes you got to go in a mind of true event Killers to actually make this into art and to get the audience attention. If you're the prop team the question is how can you handle this can you separate reality from fiction?
Please let this be a normal piano lesson...
With Law & Order?
*No way!*
_It hurts, stop!_
😂😂😂 Not the Magic School Bus reference! I LOVED that show as a kid!
I’m glad my piano teacher was never like that.
If Evan or Holt go anywhere near Stabler's son or daughters they would end up in the morgue just like Elliot said to Evan in the episode "If you came anywhere near my son" Evan was a victim too and his mother didn't care or love him so I feel bad for Evan good thing he owned up to his actions and pled guilty in the end.
The older episodes feel cold and harder
I Don't Trust Nobody With My Child ... IDC WHO YOUU ARE ! I'm always suspicious
One thing I hated is that the ADA said a judge owed him a favor. That should literally never happen
Agreed.
When the dad says "That teacher is like that with all his student". Yikes! 😬
I would have lost my mind is that was my child or if I found out this was happening in my neighborhood.
This ep broke my heart..very hard to watch but incredibly important.
God the fathers face when he realises. he feels absolutely dead inside.
7:11 interesting to note that when that kid grew up the more he understood the situation.
Those pics are really crazy especially for a man who isn’t a photographer
This is heavy. Special place in hell for such people.
I was remember this episode. Probably one of the most disturbing
The fact there are real monsters like that out in the world disgusts me
The “please don’t” dialogue kept taking me out of disbelief 😂it was so random and it gave no indictments as to what was happening and then a second later the scene would change lol
Sexual assault is no laughing matter. Especially involving under 18
How are you laughing? Are you projecting?

This episode is the most intense, gut-wrenching one.
It's amazing how the detectives and the defense attorney play a game of "who gets there first". Talk about time-sensitivity!
I can’t imagine how sick someone should be to do this kinda things. When little girls are abused and they touch them in places where something will go at a certain age and time. Hurting them damaging them traumatizing them. I just can’t imagine what a little boy feels how hopeless and vulnerable having something up that place where nothing should go in.
