Yes, I didn't even finish the video. If they're talking they aren't hearing what's being said. It's like missing half of a carefully edited trailer that's meant to inform you about the movie. So how is an opinion valid or interesting when they didn't even watch.

The casting? Its brilliant. THIS HIRE... AUSTIN BUTLER ... will make a NEW GENERATION of Elvis fans. ... probably up by a few MILLION already. This was a VERY GOOD IDEA and he is someone that the new generation LIKES. Elvis' legacy marches on. WINNER. I feel this will win 3+ Oscars. The choreography alone will go down in history as the new top tier standard to try and beat. Same with props and rime period outfits. Elvis was a rebel and a YOUTH MOVEMENT before anything else. I think a large number of those under 25 will be surprised by this movie, Elvis was a BAD ASS! Especially in the 50s.
Everyone will know Mama Thornton, Otis Blackwell, and the real colonel Parker.
yep Now i am a fan of Elvis. Never really focused on rock because i usually listen to rap and pop (mostly becasue I play basketball). but after watching that movie of Elvis, made me realize how great his songs were

That film has got Oscar written all over it. It will win 3 Oscars minimum and be nominated for dozens of awards. This real story will make millions of new young fans. Elvis was a YOUTH MOVEMENT more than anything. And that energy turned right into the civil rights movement and changed the world. Austin Butler looks like a young Johnny Depp and he will nab one of those Oscars for sure. This movie just made him a star.
This is going to be phenominal! Granted, the guy who plays ELVIS may not look that much like him but all of his mannerisms and his walk and as he gets older he really sounds like him alot! The director is very good, extremely famous. The wardrobe alone is on Key! Tom Hanks is exactly the way Col. Parker was...MEAN, UNDERHANDED, AND A CARNIVAL ACT! ELVIS ALONE was a CLASS ACT! I PLAN TO SEE IT 20 TIMES!

Tom Hanks is always wonderful. But I've been an Austin Butler fan for years now - let me tell you, he is a good actor. And his Elvis is superb; both in speaking voice (how it actually sounded rather than the Johnny Bravo impression of everyone tries) and in singing voice (yes that perfect "Elvis voice" singing here is also Austin Butler; I have no doubt he needed to practise like crazy, but still)! He's always fantastic, phenomenal in fact, in everything. And yeah, he's everywhere...
Something that Butler's been in that at least 1 of you might have seen is Quentin Tarantino's "Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood". He played Tex Watson. The only other role of his to be released where he acts with black hair (because he needed it for that role too). He usually acts with his real hair color which is a slightly-brownish blonde; best way I could describe it.
He might still be thought of as "Sebastian" Kydd from the Sex and the City prequel "The Carrie Diaries" over that role though. But this role will be the one people remember after they see this film though, I'm sure.

Elvis is the Greatest ever.. It would take the big bands sound of the 30's and 40's combined with Sinatra to equal 1 Elvis.. It would take Madonna, and Michael Jackson of the 80's combined to mean as much for pop culture as Elvis.. Elvis transcends it all, and that witll continue on and on after we are all gone..

Hi. You seem 3 very decent people trying to do something new together and with anything starting out on, you can only learn from experience. So yeah saw comment you all put on yourself about pausing video when commenting so that is good you will do that in future and have been gracious to take that feedback on and listen. Cause without doubt by being open to your viewing/ subscriber audience and realising your mistakes you all can only go upwards and grow. I'll admit as to link on to what others have said, I was one of those people who came across yourselves, was interested in your reaction with being younger end of age range spectrum but was definitely bit frustrated by your not pausing when talking cause in essence I could hear your trailer and then at same time all the talking overlapping it at same volume so, wasn't great. As said I have no reason to doubt all 3 of you are nice people and obviously only just still new to this. Thing is - even if your being genuine in your interest in Elvis reaction which don't doubt, by talking over it throughout and that being for any....reaction can give off vibes of just going through the motions and not really interested, even if don't intend that. So yeah take it as definitely pause in future. Anyhow, best of luck for your new channel and onwards.

Do your research first before reaction to Sir Elvis. He was the Entertainer of the 20th Century knocking out everyone. He paved the way for everyone to follow. One thing I have noticed and advised. You channel will grow if you are genuine about the person or something. Don't comment about hearsay. Also it is not healthy to think numbers. I been watching a reactioner, who clearly said, he learnt the hard way and a he was thinking of was the numbers. he recently restarted his channel, and in 1 week, he had 5k subscribers!!! And most of those I would say Elvis fans. So research and show interest in what you are reacting to, as We are watching. Don't touch Sir Elvis unless you fully understand who he was and what he was about. Why don't you guys just watch the trailer instead of chit chatting right through it and missing all the points? With that this reaction is worthless. You were only half interrested to really check it out. A missed chance in my opinion. There are a lot of reactions here who did a better job.

Elvis had a sense of humor and was really funny. I don't see that in this movie. Watch 'Welcome Home Elvis' with Frank Sinatra. He is always cluing the audience in about how much fun he's having. This looks too brooding.
Back in Elvis' heyday....'manly' men did not wear pink. Not at all. The term 'gay' didn't exist then. 'Homo' was the term applied. Or.....'Buttercup'. A young guy standing on stage in a pink suit was inviting insults or innuendos.

Agre up listening to Elvis and I still love him so much to this day that it was hard for me to see this initially with Austin Butler playing him because I first was kind of taking it back but the more I watch the trailer is the more I’m so excited to see this and I think he did a great job

Thanks for your reaction. Neither Hanks nor Austin Butler look or sound like the characters they play. Parker may have been Dutch, but he did not have a heavy accent like Tom Hanks portrays in this movie (plenty of clips of him talking on UA-cam). Most actors who portrayed Elvis made the same mistake that Austin Butler makes: they talk with a deep voice that is more reminiscent of Elvis impersonators. Just look up Elvis interview clips and you'll hear he actually had a pretty high voice when he talked. And nobody who ever played Elvis was as handsome as he was, that is just impossible. Elvis was born in a 1 room shack of a house his dad built with money he borrowed from his boss on January 8, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi. That's how dirt poor they were. He was one half of identical twins; the other boy - Jesse Garon - was stillborn. They were so poor, that Jesse Garon was buried in a shoebox in an unmarked grave. At Graceland they have a plaque with his name on it in his memory. He always got along with the black community and learned a lot about music from his friends of color. Also, according to the one drop rule, Elvis would not be considered white, since he has Cherokee ancestors on both the Smith (his mother) and the Presley (his father) sides of the family. His paternal grandfather was not happy that his two sons, Elvis' father Vernon and his brother Vester, married two sisters, Gladys and Clettes who were known to have Cherokee blood in their family tree. But he was in denial about the Cherokee blood in his own family tree. As a child, Elvis already had many friends in the black community at the time his family was one of 4 "white" families that lived in the predominantly black neighborhood The Hill, just across from Shake Rag. If you truly care about history or the history of music you would like to see this the real part of this movie that I hope that it will explain and show is his relationship with his manager Colonel Tom Parker understand Elvis never toured outside of America and yet he became the biggest star in the world and Tom Parker would not let him tour outside of America I hope they talk and show about this as well as what he did for music itself
