IMO this is so inefficient. The mowers pushing the same pile of leaves is actually funny. Blowing the leaves 50' /100' with a small army of men is silly, pick them up and remove them It's not like plowing snow, as you plow the pushed snow gets larger and larger, leaves need to be removed, pick them up where they are and mulch them into the truck. The tarps are the way to go, cheap and they actually remove the leaves rather than trying to blow them all the way across a huge lot.
All I can say is WOW. Such a big undertaking, and the guys made it look so easy !! I mean, even at the end, when they vacuum it all up into the big truck, its just getting it in place. Fantastic job !
I was looking for a lightweight blower for my deck. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxgioZQl3J5wPGAeDINzbieKbT5qomSEx3 There are some huge trees around my house and the leaves and pods drop all over my deck. Having to move furniture around to sweep has become too big a chore. This blower was the answer. It is light enough for this 70yr old lady and powerful enough to blow all the tree droppings off my rather large deck. Thank you B&D. Be aware the cord is not included. I use a 3 prong outdoor cord 25' cord for my 12' x 20' deck. The cord retainer works very well, but don't try to pass the plug through it. That is NOT how it works. You just have to loop the cord and it works great. One of my best purchases. Very happy.

Honestly the video is over 26 minutes long and but I end up watching it all till the end. I enjoyed the video. As someone who owns a commercial landscape business in the west, I always enjoy watching how other landscapers work and all the hard work the men do. Well done to all of you.
As someone who's had to take care of a big yard myself, it depends on lots of factors, like how wet the leaves are, frankly if it's dry it's like half the time of wet and wet vs soaked is another 2x in time. But I wouldn't be shocked at all if we saw $50,000 in equipment, plus the leaf truck, and the truck and trailer for the tarp leaves. I mean as someone who has never been in the business. I would guess the bid would be about $1800-2400 but it also depends on labor costs, local markets, if this is a repeat customer, and some other stuff. But again I have no idea what the running cost of the equipment used here is. All I know is, if I owned that house, I'd be looking into some commercial scale leaf blowers and the best way to get rid of that many leaves. I have no idea if that's a whole season of accumulation, but if that's a weekly accumulation, I'd be buying lot of commercial equipment to deal with it myself, cause frankly. There is special gear for this level of accumulation also mowing up the leaves is an option, if your grass is still growing. Having a way to get rid of that amount of leaves weekly would be the hardest part. You'd likely pretty much need a leaf truck like they had. But if that's a full season of accumulation then honestly just taking care of it weekly over a few months (the whole season) with a trash service is manageable.
This was the best leaf cleanup ever. What a bunch of hard working guys. Great use of 2 machines to pile them all up. Smart to put a guy on the roof too. How many acres was this place? Thanks for videoing it. Really enjoyed it.

Wow, you guys really earned your salary this day. I couldn't help imagining how a family with kids would have EVER been able to rake and bag all these leaves. We got roped into helping rake leaves in autumn when I was a kid in Pennsylvania. In those days we'd rake the maple leaves into the street and Grandma would burn them. That smoke was a genuine autumn aroma. Now no more burning like that. In upstate New York we'd rake our sugar maple leaves into the street along the curb and front end loaders would come and load them into trucks and cart them away; they always tried to do that before the first snow or those leaves would be buried there all winter til spring when they'd sweep the streets and clean up all the winter cinders and sand put on the roads to keep cars from skidding. You guys did a brilliant job and looks like there were still more leaves yet to fall. I loved the vacuum truck. That was awesome.

That was an extremely large leaf clean up with seven blowers and two lawn mowers and that was an excellent idea to use the lawn mowers to help push the leaves in a pile I enjoyed watching this video thanks for sharing this video.
Nice job guys! So satisfying. If I had that big of a yard with that many trees, I’d want help too 😆 Our small yard used to have so many trees, only the two pine trees were actually planted. My neighbor helped me cut all of them but the pines and the two closest to the house, we probably cut down 6 or 7 trees! All of them growing against our fence, already mature when we moved in. Last year we finally saved up enough to hire someone to come take the two closest to the house down, then again this year we took the two pine trees down, I was a bit sad to lose them, they were great winter interest and I remember how beautiful they were when we moved in, but they were dying, and looking worse every year, so, they had to go. Now we only have one massive cottonwood in our backyard, also a tree that sprouted and was just allowed to grow, in a really bad spot but it would take years to save up to get it taken down, and as terrifying as the tree is during storms, it is now our only shade in our west facing backyard. It’s so big it shades half the yard when the sun comes around. I’m loving all the sun for gardening (I’m huge into gardening!) but goodness it’s hot in summer! I’m going to save up over the winter to get a crabapple tree next spring, and plant it in a spot where it will bring shade to the area I like to sit and watch my chickens and duck and read, always wanted a flowering tree in the backyard, I’m super excited to get it.
@@itshisturf23 Minnesota :) A bit far LOL I'm saving for the Royal Raindrops Crabapple, I know of at least one garden center that has them, but I would like to find other garden centers that have them near me, I want to find the perfect shape, if I can get a triple trunk I'd be super happy, but will be fine with a regular trunk.
The contributors to success I saw in this video: teamwork, knowledgeable workers, good equipment, and gas power. Always amazed me when people run around screaming "gas is dead" and petition to ban two stroke power equipment, or worse, suggest we use battery tools and hand rakes for big jobs. Batteries don't charge themselves from nothing and I like my jobs to be done quick. Great video, keep it up.
Great video, and WHAT a crew!! 40 years in business in the green industry and have seen and done ALOT of cleanups with crews. I can tell you, your guys are spot on! 👌
Whenever you tarp leaves just blow them right on the tarp. Used to do this 3-4 years ago and we didn't have a leaf vac. So would tarp then climb in the truck. One big job a Mexican guy knew it would take to long so he out the tarp out and blew the leaves on it. Legit eliminated 1/3 of the time! Love the system with pushing the leaves with the mowers though. Just wish we had a leaf vac 😂
I think it's safe to say this was a 4 figure job, if some how this is a 3 figure job, they need to raise their rates, and if this is a 5 figure job, frankly these home owners should look into buying whoever commercial equipment they need to do it themselves. The issue is if this was only 1 week of accumulation, then they would basically need a leaf truck of their own to keep up with it, but if this was a whole season of accumulation say 6-10 weeks, there are some more reasonable disposal options.
@clintonmclimore8370 depends on where you live. I work for my counties road department and we don't offer that nor does any other county or city near me
@@dougcooper5740 Wow there leaf trucks in all over in my are they pickup 2 a year for free as long as it in season and they have free spring cleanup anything goes.
That was a huge undertaking! Wow! I counted 10 guys but only 9 did the physical labor. 1 had to man the cameras! Great job! I hope you all inspected for ticks? Ticks love leaves!
Great video, your team works like a military operation with everyone jumping in to do whatever needs to be done. You are very lucky to have such good and coordinated workers like that. I have a large property of about 4 acres, so I mulch the leaves with a John Deere lawn tractor first, then pick them up afterwards. This reduces the bulk to less than 10% so a lot less labour intensive, and then all that mulch goes on to the flower gardens. Leaf mulch sells for a lot of money in my area, that is if you can find it. After the leaf pick up season is finished, I hope your company mulches these leaves, bags them then sells them as it would certainly increase the profit margin.
Mein lieber, die Jungen wissen auch am Abend was sie geleistet haben . Sie scheinen aber auch alle ein gutes Team zu sein. Ich hatte jedenfalls ein herrliches Vergnügen beim Zuschauen. 😊❤
What a team! Great job! 👍 Lots of good tips that we as home owners can put to use. We have huge (old) trees of all sorts around our property (none belong to us). When the leaves drop, it's our job to clean them up! Arrrgggg!!! ☺
This it incredible! What a great team you have! Great leadership to have everyone knowing what to do in such an efficient way! Just a suggestion, you should try using pitch forks to move large piles of leaves closer to vac and onto tarps...works pretty good for us, makes it easier than rakes God bless you! Great content!
Like a drill team. Very good! And +1 for the pitch forks, maybe hay pitchforks (just watch where you point that thing!) I use one for when clearing brush, vines, etc.
Absolutely the best I've ever seen!! You guys operate in sequence!! A well organized machine!! I wish I could be apart of the team. I like blowing leaves although I've never done it. Lol 🙏🙏
That size property/amount of leaves was a 3-4 man crew job for us. We would use a Little Wonder push blower paired with both backpack and hand blowers and rakes and tarps back in the day. We'd have two separate crews so we could clean up (and invoice) two properties at once. Seen many a property like that except they usually had leaves trapped in fully fenced yards and were ordinarily a lot wetter... No dust flying, more likely to be muddy underneath! 23 years owning a landscape maintenance/construction company and 8 years since as a golf course superintendent. Nice video job 👍. Never had time to break out cameras on a job 😊.
You guys are like ants on a sugar cube or me and friends on a case of beer!!! great work and great filming Edit: in the play book you got to call this "tactical tornado"
At least they were dry! lol Our fall season has had about 3 days of no rain or snow so its been miserable. We do a couple big places like this, one is a 10 acre (we only do about 2 acres of leaves) and the other is about 1 acre, ankle deep in leaves every 7-10 days and both are right off the windy Lake Erie. Best thing we invested in for this year is a 16ft dump trailer so with 4x16 sides on top of the trailer sides we can load about 30 yards of leaves...has saved us a lot of time so far. Lucky you could find 8 guys too lol And I thought I was the only one who uses mowers like bulldozers, I see guys still dragging huge tarps and there's a walk behind sitting on the trailer.
Awesome footage!! Thanks for sharing. For me fall leaf cleanups are so fun because I love the before and after and how that makes you feel mentally!😁👍💯
We do condo complexes so we're used to massive amounts of leaves. Having said that, this may be the most leaves I've ever seen for a residential. It's sort of a bitter sweet using the mower to push piles of leaves because it packs them pretty tight making it harder to suck them up. We do the same, but only with dry leaves. This was an impressive cleanup, men. Got a new landscape subscriber. Peace from Massachusetts.
I loved watching this but am I the only person who would of loved to dive into all those hills of leaves. Made me feel like a kid again

Absolute Blessing what you guy’s have done, so proud, continue doing God’s work. God Bless love’s.🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
EPIC! Really really satisfying to watch! Kudos to you my friend! Would rate it 100/10!!!
Thank you so much
The contributors to success I saw in this video: teamwork, knowledgeable workers, good equipment, and gas power. Always amazed me when people run around screaming "gas is dead" and petition to ban two stroke power equipment, or worse, suggest we use battery tools and hand rakes for big jobs. Batteries don't charge themselves from nothing and I like my jobs to be done quick. Great video, keep it up.
THANK YOU. AND I COULDNT AGREE MORE
Wow, well co-ordinated, and well executed. You guys really rounded up them leaves. Looked like fun.
It sure was fun. Thank you
Great video, and WHAT a crew!! 40 years in business in the green industry and have seen and done ALOT of cleanups with crews. I can tell you, your guys are spot on! 👌
WOW! That was amazing team work! Your system was on point! Great video.
Thank you so much.
The leaf vacuum is a very nice tool to have.
I don't think that was enough leaf's to clean 🤣🤣🤣 wowed such hardworking men. Amazing Job !!
Haha. I’m searching for a bigger yard and amount of leaves
That’s what I call teamwork fellas! Well done.👍🏾💯
Wow I can’t imagine how much a job like this would’ve cost. That’s a lot of man power an equipment‼️🤔
You can pay the city to bring the vac truck pretty cheap 25$ or so maybe 50$ all you have to do is get the leaves to the street.
@@clintonmclimore8370 I'm sure it's a budget issue
GREATEST LEAF CLEAN UP OPERATION EVER! Brilliant work guys... HOW DO I GIVE THIS VIDEO 100 LIKES? NEEDS TO BE VIEWED BY MILLIONS!!!
Thank you so much!!!!!!!! And I AGREE
Man, you and your crew killed it! Amazing!
Thank you so much
You guys are definitely the right men with the right tools. You make it look easy.
That was a huge undertaking! Wow! I counted 10 guys but only 9 did the physical labor. 1 had to man the cameras! Great job! I hope you all inspected for ticks? Ticks love leaves!
Luckily we had a hard winter last year and ticks haven’t been bad this year.
This broke UA-cam for me! Best video I have seen to date! The dance of the blower was intoxicating 😍
That’s awesome for you to say. Thank you so much.
Crazy cool... Surprised that not many had masks on to protect spores that harbor in wet leaves. Blessing to the crew... 🇺🇸💪🇺🇸🙏
Thank you. I’m going to order them some neck gaters
Oh great, you're reminding us about leaf spores, and I just did a cleanup today that had fungus on the ground under the leaves 😬😂🤷♂️
Super impressive teamwork with your whole crew. Interesting how they all work together to move the leaves. Great video
Soooooooo satisfying yet what a beautiful show of teamwork!!! You guys are great!!!
I appreciate that
Mein lieber, die Jungen wissen auch am Abend was sie geleistet haben .
Arrrgggg!!! ☺
It is a vicious cycle and the trees and wind don’t have a preference where the leaves blow.
Tell me about it, I'm a new home owner and I am thinking about investing in a leaf vacuum. Currently I like to rake for the exercise. 💪🏾
Not a bad exchange for shade all summer!
@@bonniewitmyer5666- Its a little scary when the wind blows @ 40-50 mph!!! Then there's the ice storms!!!! Weehaa!
WOW WOW WOW, TREMENDOUSLY AWESOME JOB!!! FANTASTIC TEAM WORK!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH
This it incredible! What a great team you have! Great leadership to have everyone knowing what to do in such an efficient way! Just a suggestion, you should try using pitch forks to move large piles of leaves closer to vac and onto tarps...works pretty good for us, makes it easier than rakes
God bless you! Great content!
I agree. We have one on each truck. Just our last go to
Like a drill team. Very good!
And +1 for the pitch forks, maybe hay pitchforks (just watch where you point that thing!)
I use one for when clearing brush, vines, etc.
I can do it in 4 hrs with myself and my Billygoat
So many new people were spawning in the first five minutes lol, awesome job !
Lol. Second crew showed up.
Absolutely the best I've ever seen!! You guys operate in sequence!! A well organized machine!! I wish I could be apart of the team. I like blowing leaves although I've never done it. Lol 🙏🙏
Are you in central Arkansas?? Come on
Nice job? What does a job like that cost?
This has got to be the most satisfying video I have ever watched.
Thank you.
This was amazing! You all are such hard workers & team work was incredible!! Thank you!
I am blessed with great guys. Thank you
hard working crew, no one standing around. keep up the videos.
Thank you so much
I enjoyed watching this video even though it looks exhausting doing all that raking of leaves. I hope you upload more this 💯
Thank you so much.
Now THAT is how it is done! Fine job gentlemen!
THANK YOU
What a massive job, well done to you and all the team 👍🏽👍🏽
Thank you so much
All I can say is WOW! I could watch this all day. Job well done, awesome team work :)
Your workers are literally the best team workers I have seen and the hardest workers around! Well done! 😉
Nice work, guys. You know it's a big yard when you got all the that equipment and you still have to tarp and drag. 👍
If this was in California, Gov Newsom would call out the SWAT team!
Why?
@MrDriftspirit You don't know about California's distaste for power equipment?
That size property/amount of leaves was a 3-4 man crew job for us. We would use a Little Wonder push blower paired with both backpack and hand blowers and rakes and tarps back in the day. We'd have two separate crews so we could clean up (and invoice) two properties at once. Seen many a property like that except they usually had leaves trapped in fully fenced yards and were ordinarily a lot wetter... No dust flying, more likely to be muddy underneath!

Nice video job 👍. Never had time to break out cameras on a job 😊.
You guys are like ants on a sugar cube or me and friends on a case of beer!!! great work and great filming
Edit: in the play book you got to call this "tactical tornado"
Hahaha. Thank you lol
Amazing video! Superb teamwork!
They all look like GHOSTBUSTERS! 👻😋😂
Beautiful! Amazing crew!!!!!
Nice work!! It's like watching the seal team of leaf blowing☺👍
Haha. My #LEAFARMY
Hard working doesn't even come close to what you all do!! The team making sure all leaves are vacuumed ROCK!! Great Video!!!
Around 3:45 put it in slow motion and its like you are watching The Lawn Avengers movie trailer or somthing lol
Hahaha. That’s hilarious
Leaf dozers lol. I’m sorry leaf season has been rough for you.
Well, that was AWESOME.
Thank you
Wow! Your team deserves a bonus! Everybody knew what to do to help each other!
They sure do
Now THAT'S how PROFESSIONALS do it!😎✌️❤️💐👏👏👏👏👏
Well thank you
GREAT TEAM choreography, every body hustled as one machine! Keep the team together and you are destined great success in your field.
Very impressive work! ❤
Wonderful unity of cleaning those dry leaves keep it up guys God blessed all
Thank you
That was a tremendous job!! Your men did a GREAT JOB!!
Thank you so much
Leafer Beavers! Man... I have never seen such enthusiastic workers! You guys REALLY love your work.. Impressive!!!
Can't believe I just watched 26 min of leaves being cleaned up!! I could have done my small yard in that time. Haha. So satisfying
I’m very grateful you did. Thank you for your support.
The after pictures are amazing wow 🎉😃👍🏽 great job guys !
Great team work there is nothing like the blower to get rid of the leaves
you have a really good workers man nothing but the best
Thank you so much
Awesome footage!! Thanks for sharing. For me fall leaf cleanups are so fun because I love the before and after and how that makes you feel mentally!😁👍💯
Your right about that b
I’ve been waiting all year for this!!i think I remember you doing thisplace last year, love it!
THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT. AND YOUR SPOT ON IT DOES MAKE SUCKING THEM UP DIFFICULT
😊your words are kind
