Omg that light that goes off when it’s not making contact. Brilliant. Also, props to you for reading the entire manual...and bigger props for getting your daughter to help out. Working smarter, not harder. 😆👌🏻
I'm looking forward to getting the chameleon. I love all the features but having an Aussie with a lot of fur the contact sensor is the best thing I love about it. Thanks Larry
Very smart pieces of kit round the board, the Bellon's are pushing standards in the industry and bring finesse to the craft. Larry, I'm a big fan of your work and videos; you come across as incredibly humble and are a straight talking fella, just laying it out. Do keep continuing to video, discuss products, demonstrate techniques, attend seminars and star on podcasts like The Canine Paradigm with Glenn & Pat. Your content is the down to earth, relatable demo's that I can direct my clients to, so as to understand the lesson further.
The only problem is for us nornal dog owners who just like training, its just so expensive. I can get 2 dog educator for like 300 cheaper. I realize the differences its just hard to justify the price
I've been saving for the mini educator but I have a dog that I think would really benefit from the additional contact options so I may switch up my plan and order the Chameleon 3 to step up our training over the summer.
Can u use the feathers in combo with the nubs. For example each island has 3 spot to attach so putting the feather contact on the two of the island and a nub on the 3rd spot
Hello. Please share more of your experiences with this collar. I am very interested in understanding the operations. I am very familiar with educator collars and tritronics pro. I like what I've seen and read but haven't talked with a user. Waiting IMPATIENTLY
For me it was more like buying a Yugo not a Toyota. Looks like its built a LOT better than the Chameleon II for which I had to send back to Belgium (5) times over two years. It was hands down the most unreliable product I ever bought. Them thick cables u pointed out kept failing but they were thin not thick. But it had all sorts of internal issues. Really the biggest piece of shit ive ever purchased and I paid $2000 for the whole bundle. Basically it NEVER worked properly. I then exchanged it for the Extender..... well that didn't work either. Would never charge properly so it sits in a box now and I bought the hands free Dogtra but the clicker is just too dam big! It does look like the product has made quite a few upgrades tho and in Barts defense he always treated me fair and I did buy the "Original" Chameleon so I guess I had to experience the products growing pains but im considering buying the Chameleon III tho cause it does look stout!

Larry glad to see this if it will replace our clunky receivers on the collar it hard to keep them from sliding around so much

Yes! It's so hard to find a thorough review for the chameleon. Can't wait to see your more in-depth breakdown.
I still cant find one other than this!!
Looks great . Nice to see a smaller receiver box. Sophia rocks ,bless her . Clearly you have a great relationship : ) . Thanks Larry : )

Updated review please. Waiting to hear more about your thoughts and usage. Thanks!!!

Could you Post the link for ordering the e collar?
I like this review better than the last one because I can see what you’re talking about better in this video

Larry now about two weeks in with Chameleon.. What if I may ask are your takes on it so far.
Can u make an updated review looking into getting one deciding between this or mini educator

its crap bro. get garmin and thats it and some cabral modification
@@fazer215 I agree its total garbage. had to send back 4 separate times. never again
@@TENNESSEETRACKHAWK what about extender is it crap too ?
@@TENNESSEETRACKHAWK which one u using now ?
@@fazer215 Im back to my Dogtra with the finger remote. It works ok but the remote is just too dam big!
Hey Larry, what’s the range of the new chameleon? Price range?
Good concept. Still don't trust it yet and the price is just ridiculous
Hey Larry,
Will you be doing any videos on basic dog behavior ?
Just curious if the collar has a bark mode? And what range does the remote have?
It doesn't have a bark mode but I'm not sure about the range of the remote.
What should I do if I can’t get my e collar to make contact? He’s an Long haired Akita I can’t seem to make contact with the skin
It pulls very tight! No reason u cant get contact. Especially with the Feather contacts which are much longer.
What size chameleon III collar do you have? Not sure what size to get for my 16 month GSD. Also only have 9 levels? Limited compared to other?
I spoke to bart on facebook and i also have a GSD. He recommended the medium
I have a big GSD and I have the large . If you buy medium or large it will work
Where do I find this e collar?
How much is this collar?
You can expect around 1k. But it's an exceptional collar. I wish Garmin and SportDog would design something like this.
@@thegiantpaperpanda with some spare parts at home u can make any collar like this, of course you have to be handy man
Price point is out of whack
its imigrant price ;)
This is outrageously expensive.
Too expensive. Dogtra is also good for it and affordable.
Man the extender alone is 300? Seems pricey
You dont need the extender if you buy the chameleon system. Its still pricey though
@@mattystewart8 Yeah but I already have an Einstein and a Garmin
Rafter H then why do you need a chameleon? Haha
@@mattystewart8 🤤
But you have a nissan pickup 😂
Not clever enough to train a dog smart huh?! 😂
