    I may have to get one of these for myself as a birthday present, the finger kick alone is worth it...
    I currently use a ECT w bungee straps and buckle collar, and I've noticed inconsistent contact with the skin (I use pro series, which are smaller receivers, so that may be a contributing factor). My response has been to err on the side of too tight with the collar fit as the bungee has give anyway. I find the dogs are responsive at a much lower level to the stem this way. Is this the proper thing to do?
    Thank you for your work you've contributed enormously to the world of canine training.

      Good contact is a must! Moving the position of the contacts so you don't get desensitisation can assist in keeping low and effective levels and finding the best contacts for your dog is also important. Thanks for your comments.

    yeah, this is the best and most safe ecollar created until this moment, I love the work of Bart Bellon, he always takes things to perfection. I would love to have one, but the price is also sensational, plus, I dont train with ecollars, I dont compete and my dog has quick LEAVE IT, OUT, and COME, so I dont need one. I do use all the knowledge about dog training that I have learned from this man, tho, he is one of the best in the world, no question, I also use nepopo principle of balanced training with a great success, I just dont use ecollars, only a choke collar. But I think that ecollars such as this one are the best and most responsible tools for dogtraining, yet they are reserved for professionals that have economic incentive to pay the price for them.
    However, I would love to pay per view style videos from Bart Bellon in the future about his training system, tho, this guy is a treasure chest of knowledge and experience.So, Bart Bellon, I would love some acessible internet format of education for the wider global audience that comes on affaordable price, so even nonprofessionals can dive ino your knowledge.

    I purchased a Martin System Chameleon III e-collor in early July. After about one month the transmitter stopped working. I have emailed your company several times without any response asking how we can fix the problem or if I can return the transmitter for a new one. I have received no response. I am very disappointed at the absolute lack of any customer support. At over one thousand dollars for this e-collar I would expect better from your company.

    if the lights are next to the contact points, how can you tell if the points are contacted with the skin if the collar is on the dog? The lights are on the same side as the contact points, correct? how can you tell on the long hair dogs or any dog if the lights are on the inside?

    Hey there, this looks awesome! If you set the collar with Emily to regularly check for contact, does the collar report to the receiver whether there is contact, or do you need to be close to your dog so you can see the light on the collar? Thanks!

    Can you see the contact light when on the collar is on the dog?

    • @NepopoSchool
      @NepopoSchool  8 років тому

      Yes. But ordinarily you must be close to the dog. The default of this feature is that the contact measurement feature is working for 2 minutes -- theoretically enough time to put the collar on your dog. With USB Emily, you can have the collar check for contact after every stimulation or periodic contact measurement, as you like.
