I can imagine you in a real apocalypse.... Like... a bunch of murderous slavers would find you investigating some ruins, and you'd start to tell them what must've happened and they'd basically all just sit down and listen. Slaver 1: I been here hundreds of times, I never thought to look at it like this. Slaver 2: There's an old burned out fire station down the road, you wanna come check it out with us? Slaver 3: Yeah, I'd love to see if you can work out what happened there. Then you basically end up with a bunch of slavers following you around listening to your thoughts on what happened before the apocalypse, haha.
I imagine ox in the apocalypse as a old historian who doesn’t pose a threat but if some group or person threatens oxhorn he gets all the factions to destroy that group or person
Dude, I don't comment on vids often. But I just thought that I should let you know. I recently stumbled across your channel and have been making my way thru your lore videos. Awesome work man. Really enjoying them. Keep it up!!!
Man... good luck. There's like... at least 5 years worth of content, if you watch them all back to back, non-stop. It's worth it. Oxhorn is a fucking legend.
The way Ox explains various situations has taught me how to pay more attention and piece things together myself while playing any fallout, now i understand alot more about what raiders and settlers go through and what they have done to them.
Regarding the skeleton crushed underneath some lockers, I don’t think the nuclear blast is what toppled the lockers. Why would there be a mattress without a bed frame directly in front of a set of lockers. Unless the guy that was crushed was a trespasser, I think that incident happened after the bombs fell.
I was thinking this in regards to a number of the bodies left in the wasteland. We tend to assume they’re from the bombs, but not necessarily the case. As per the family picnic, if they were slaughtered by raiders (et al) it’s a safe bet their bodies would just remain there.
I always have had an irrational fear of mannequins so any time I see one I freak out slightly. Especially if I pick something up and it moves suddenly. Once did that and accidentally shot my Fatman at it point blank. After that Synth mannequin, my fear in game is even worse XD I’ll take the monkeys over that any day...

gonna have to disagree with you about the cars in the trees, trees tend to embrace objects rather than push them up (see some Buddhist statues for what i mean), a more likely scenario would be when the bombs droped, the cars were flung and miraculously 2 landed in the tree while the other landed at the base, either that or a super mutant decided to make a house before getting board?
zellos Node It isn't uncommon for statues and other hard objects he pushed out the way but natural growth but since hard how a lot of nooks and crannies and places for routes to take place it is more than likely that the roots and retreat day grow round the cars if you actually look at cars and other deserted vehicles in the woods yet trees do naturally grow around them because the roots and branches can get to these nooks and crannies now if a car was completely solid there Was no place for it to go in then yes the car would naturally due to push out the way and you would be upside down
zellos Node Oxhorn doesn't know how Trees Work.Thats what you get when you Live your Whole Life in a City.I recommend A House on the Land where you Plant a Tree.
I love the way you guys are mangling the English language while trying to correct a ridiculously minor detail. I grew up in the mountains. Some trees, depending on the tree itself, will grow around and through a totaled, empty and open car. A car frame does not really weigh that much. I will point out that trees are more likely to go around and then consume an object, and the cars in the video were more likely to have been essentially tossed there by a more recent blast than that of the "big one". Added to this the fact that explosive materials seem to be in overabundance in the fallout universe and that the cars are, 200 years later, ridiculously I prone to explosion. Welcome to science class.
Great stuff as always Ox. I watch your videos pretty much every day. I do a lot of driving and when I'm getting ready for a long haul I put on one of your series and enjoy. Keep up the great work my friend

Oxhorn I am a couple of years late seeing this video and had thought I saw all of yours for Fallout 4 so I learned something new. A You Tube creator friend of mine from Norway, Lille Miir wears the beehive hairdo and it fits her personality and play style well. She has some outstanding settlement builds for Fallout 4 that amazed me and has a talent for setting up camps in places I would never think of in Fallout 76. Ox 16:00 Might be a reference to Goosebumps "Say cheese and die". where an old camera shows how people are going to die when a photo is taken of them. The cover art for the book depicts a family having a picnic but all of them are turned to skeletons. One of them is even wearing a chef hat.
20:50 I think these set of structures were an emergency fallout bunker for the school or some sort of sewage plant that is sinking. If it is a bunker, then maybe someone went in there and for safety/paranoia reasons, they blocked off the front door to keep the radiation and raiders out. They were probably finding another way out and if there is anyone in there, they're most likely dead.
hey ox, figured id correct one thing, Arc Jet didn't launch rockets, they just made engines, that "launch bunker" is just the test area for the mars shot booster, and when they had it done, they would hoist it out of said bunker doors.

Please do Police and Military Installations in the Commonwealth, covering the stories hidden in all Police Stations and Military Bases. Also, can you do a Mod video covering the Best Police Mods in the sense of buildings, outfits, weapons, etc? I know it sounds like I'm obsessed with the Police but I just feel sorry those guys don't get a whole lot of coverage in the game. I mean, a nuclear war breaks out in an already somewhat mutinous America and not once, while roaming the Commonwealth, do I discover a crashed or Abandoned Police Cruiser!?
At the top of my head (and after watching the entire 3 videos) you have not yet done one of my favorites witch is a raider boss "penthouse", I forget the town its in (but remember its a town north of Boston) its next to a basketball court and up a fire escapce ladders (jetpack not needed) where you will find a raider boss in power armour protecting a decent top floor flat with a decent view of surrounding areas. Another includes a "off map" (your past the barrier on the map let are able to walk to it) farm that can spawn deathclaws, a boring place with little decoration but an interesting novelty. also if I recall right there is a "end of dungeon" chest next to a crash landed CAS/fighter at the very end of the highways south (east) end.
I think it's possible that the car tree was also caused by a super mutant behemoth. They do tend to make things with the pre-war cars as we can see from the Car Henge. I'm certain I've seen a behemoth around the site and Recon Bunker Theta several times as well.
I know I'm being a bit picky, but the cars in the tree are Not from the trees growing, Because that's not how growing trees work. My best guess is either a Super Mutant Behemoth or a lucky landing from the blast.
Its explained throughout the games, after "the Divergence" That nuclear power became widely available around the 1950 so the people never had a problem that changed their view on their society til the early 2000. Eighties would be more like purpleish and harsh blocky forms. Cyberpunk 2077 is more in this style. Maybe the Atomcats could be called as 80'ish but they look more like greasers. Ok, the war actually happened in 2077. Timelines split and instead of the whole cold war just dying down and everyone (pardon the pun) chilling out, it stayed. Communist China instead of Russia, as an axis power for the next few decades past the cold war (our timeline) meant that the great leaps and bounds in circuitry, technology, politics, cultural sensitivity, food production, were all in the name of winning the war instead of just to be creative and make life easier. As natural gas was not really a good option, seeing that most of it comes from near China, we would naturally pursue an alternative to it. Namely atomic fuel. Culturally and technologically we have wandered away from tube televisions because LED screens are cheap and easy to make. Video games seem non-existent in this universe, meaning that the great game development went, instead, to creating new ways to wage war. (Robo brains, sentrybots, Mr. Handy and Mrs. Nanny to name a few.) Programmers were, instead, recruited by the military or the government or ended up being independent contractors with the war effort. So as personal technology stagnated, leading to no cell phones and other awesome things that are basically the result of too much free time, everything kind of stalled in that era. That's why you get a sort of steam punk-ish atmosphere in the Fallout games. It's a dystopian future. Not OUR dystopian future, but that timeline's.
Dude that synth hiding as a mannequin was creepy af, I love it! I wanna download some mods that make the game more creepy. Also you should do far harbor next, this was really interesting! I haven't even found some of these places in my 2 years of play time
Throat slicer from nuka world. You buy it from one of the merchants. I can't remember which one. But I'm pretty sure they are female and they are near the bramhin in the nuka world market.
Out of the many heist unmarked locations, I think the one on top of an overpass between Mass Pike Interchange and Graygarden is my favorite. I don't recall if you've covered it before, but the scene tells a fun little story!
I found those raiders in the alley on a low level on my first playthrough. I stepped on the mine in the alley and then saw the turret kick on. I had a broken leg and was about to die. Unloaded both barrels of my shotgun on the turret just in time and crawled out of the alleyway. Scared the shit outta me. Light step is a nice perk i usually get now 😂
If I remember it correctly, that particular issue of La Coiffe comes with a second hidden hairstyle: “Anchorage”. It’s a military haircut with a spangled design on the side.
My family likes to have our big family picnics early in the morning, about 10 am, to avoid the summer heat and to enjoy more of a brunch. We still grill some meats, like sausage and bacon, then just cook the eggs and pancakes on a portable skillet. It's quite nice.
I work at a state park in upstate New York & I can confirm people do visit our park relatively early. I work relatively early in the morning & by 9 - 10 o'clock our park is moderately populated. I can't say the popularity of that spot in the fallout universe but Bethesda wasn't wrong.
"Isn't 9:47 in the morning a little early to have a barbecue?" Ox, are you telling me you DON'T have set up a full barbecue every morning for breakfast?
Loving the fallout 4 unmarked location lore videos combined with your commentary which always makes your videos inviting to watch, keep up the awesome work Oxhorn! Also will you be doing a livestream during QuakeCon when Bethesda cover fallout 76?
30:00 the skeleton laying in the corner cut off someone else’s arm at the shoulder. If the other guy wanted to be free he wouldn’t have cut his own arm off. Great video though 2 years later
23:24 i have an idea of what this odd structure is. 1: A pre-war millitary facility like the "Abandoned Shack" in the glowing sea. An elevator that collapsed took people underground to work on secret tech. (Like how X-01 was *supposedly* made by remnants of the U.S. Government once the bombs hit.) 2: this might have been some water treament plant of some sort. The center had the equipment for taking readings, and the other 4 were where the water was sampled and tested. This theory is less likely, however, because who would use *a sentry bot*, a robot who's purpose is to provide security through overwhelming firepower, to gaurd a water testing site? As for the flat wall when you open the door, perhaps as a safety measure, the door was sealed as the elevator decended with a concrete wall, so the site whould remain unknown. Of course, thats just my guess.
i really love your channel and i love all your coverage of fallout, its really splendid and it has brought much joy to my recent life, thank you and keep bringing happiness to all! Good on ya!
Ideas for part 4: -Valenti Subway (south of Old North Church) -The abandoned factory to the SW of General Atomics (really cool lore spot) -The Science Center gift shop (just fun) -The broken monorail (stupid hard to get to)
Hey Ox, another unmarked location near Bunker Hill; it's a little house with a few ghouls inside. However, the real interesting part is a series of holotapes you find from a young women that leads you up to the attic of the house. Check out this place if you haven't already.
The “You look nice today” door is a reference to fallout 3. There was a similar location on the edge of the map where there was a door that led to a brick wall, however it had a different message
So I just recently found this youtube channel. I think I watched some videos in the past but it's been a while. I just wanted to say. I love these videos! Also, did anyone notice the bowler hat in the Theater? When I saw it I thought "They knew Oxhorn was coming" XD

Stabbing a Behemoth to death with a knife. That takes guts!
John O ́neil I did that once and died in two hits
I once killed an ancient Behemoth with a kneecaper super sledge
I one-hit kill behemoths on very hard with Throatslicer (best knife in the game)
Trying to sledge a Cazador, now that’s something! Trust me, I’ve pathetically tried!
Huge guts. Rip and tear.

Ox: "Hold my scotch..."
Well atleast it's not his fists... his brain would be screaming at him!
Y’all remember this conversation
Ox, "You look nice today" may be a nod to an easter egg in Fallout 3 where you open a similar looking door only to see "F*** You" on a wall

Video games seem non-existent in this universe, meaning that the great game development went, instead, to creating new ways to wage war. (Robo brains, sentrybots, Mr. Handy and Mrs. Nanny to name a few.)
Programmers were, instead, recruited by the military or the government or ended up being independent contractors with the war effort.
Well technically it looks 60s style and it’s because creative progression stopped in the 60s due to the endless wars.
Dude that synth hiding as a mannequin was creepy af, I love it! I wanna download some mods that make the game more creepy. Also you should do far harbor next, this was really interesting! I haven't even found some of these places in my 2 years of play time
What's the knife he is using in Warren Theater? Looks badass
Redundancyy pickmans blade maby
Pretty sure it's a legendary Diciple knife.
Throat slicer from nuka world. You buy it from one of the merchants. I can't remember which one. But I'm pretty sure they are female and they are near the bramhin in the nuka world market.
Daniel Deem Katelyn Alden
I would’ve missed 80% of what this game has to offer if it wasn’t for you thanks man really nice to see cool stuff
Yahoo! A new video
I was convinced for a moment that you saying 'Theta' was just a fancy way of saying 'theater'
Shoelt, shoe lt, not *scholet* , wonder how many people pointed this out, I must be wrong!
Out of the many heist unmarked locations, I think the one on top of an overpass between Mass Pike Interchange and Graygarden is my favorite. I don't recall if you've covered it before, but the scene tells a fun little story!
8:10 COMMUNIST DETECTED!
COMMIE THOTS!!!
5:23 I always thought the cars were put there by the Behemoth nearby, since Behemoth's usually have a thing for cars
Love your videos!!
Light step is a nice perk i usually get now 😂
Fallout maiami is about to release :D
What's it about?
J. C.
Its a DLC sized F:4 mod apparently.
oh........
Sadly it is not available on ps4 or console because the mod is big it only available on pc
Στέφανος Μαλδαβίνας when?
13:46 is the only time I see oxhorn struggle Against a behemoth in any video
I love these
If I remember it correctly, that particular issue of La Coiffe comes with a second hidden hairstyle: “Anchorage”. It’s a military haircut with a spangled design on the side.
OH MY EYESS
(Ox looks sexy with that hair ;b)
Carhenge is an actual tourist attraction in Alliance, Nebraska!
Yeah boi
S B ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
My family likes to have our big family picnics early in the morning, about 10 am, to avoid the summer heat and to enjoy more of a brunch. We still grill some meats, like sausage and bacon, then just cook the eggs and pancakes on a portable skillet. It's quite nice.
Wooooow....
I work at a state park in upstate New York & I can confirm people do visit our park relatively early. I work relatively early in the morning & by 9 - 10 o'clock our park is moderately populated. I can't say the popularity of that spot in the fallout universe but Bethesda wasn't wrong.
Like
"Isn't 9:47 in the morning a little early to have a barbecue?"
Ox, are you telling me you DON'T have set up a full barbecue every morning for breakfast?
Yeah boi second comment
3rd*
Loving the fallout 4 unmarked location lore videos combined with your commentary which always makes your videos inviting to watch, keep up the awesome work Oxhorn!
Also will you be doing a livestream during QuakeCon when Bethesda cover fallout 76?
30:00 the skeleton laying in the corner cut off someone else’s arm at the shoulder. If the other guy wanted to be free he wouldn’t have cut his own arm off. Great video though 2 years later
...that's exactly what he said
@@napatora maybe i was drunk when i commented that. I dont know what my point was lol
I think that concrete bunker thing the had the 'You look nice today' message inside is just Bethesda having a laugh.
23:24 i have an idea of what this odd structure is.
1: A pre-war millitary facility like the "Abandoned Shack" in the glowing sea. An elevator that collapsed took people underground to work on secret tech. (Like how X-01 was *supposedly* made by remnants of the U.S. Government once the bombs hit.)
2: this might have been some water treament plant of some sort.
Good on ya!
Your story telling is outta this world man love your lore videos
Ideas for part 4:
-Valenti Subway (south of Old North Church)
-The abandoned factory to the SW of General Atomics (really cool lore spot)
-The Science Center gift shop (just fun)
-The broken monorail (stupid hard to get to)
Your videos are the best in any lore videos I have ever watched
Hey Ox, another unmarked location near Bunker Hill; it's a little house with a few ghouls inside. However, the real interesting part is a series of holotapes you find from a young women that leads you up to the attic of the house. Check out this place if you haven't already.
Yep, I covered that here: ua-cam.com/video/mk7OfBsFZm0/v-deo.html
The “You look nice today” door is a reference to fallout 3. There was a similar location on the edge of the map where there was a door that led to a brick wall, however it had a different message
So I just recently found this youtube channel. I think I watched some videos in the past but it's been a while. I just wanted to say. I love these videos! Also, did anyone notice the bowler hat in the Theater? When I saw it I thought "They knew Oxhorn was coming" XD
