@@PockyChoco23 You might be thinking of Ron Staples. He's a recruitable merchant found through a random encounter that is labeled as a food & drink merchant. I do not believe Mac is recruitable.
In my playthroughs Mac always seem to spawn in very hazardous areas. His bar is there later, but he isn't. Hopefully he ran away.

Same, though I assumed the settler was in the process of turning into a ghoul and was desperate for radway in hopes of stemming it.

I remember finding the bartender right outside of the coast guard building with the crashed vertibird. I was utterly shocked, since there was a super mutant suicide coming towards us. he didn't survive.
I will find every mistake, every shameful comment. I have done this before and I am doing it again.
You could have saved Mac to live another day.
I don't care how long ago these mistakes were, but I only know that one day, I will judge your sins. And I will not be so forgiving.

He appeared just outside Sanctuary for me right after I completed the first mission. Cool character.
I always wondered why Mac opened a bar on the edge of the Glowing Sea. Had no idea it was a random encounter.
One of my personal favorites is when you meat a raider named Gruel with a chefs hat! He is instantly hostile and upon killing him he has a note with a rather odd recipe.

The Blake event is actually kind of touching. We see lots of post-apocalypse stories where people act callous to each other and leave corpses to rot in the streets, but in this scene when Blake dies his friends take the time to honor and mourn him.

There is a "Hot Spot" as you put it. Right outside of the Vault 111. As soon as you start the game. After leaving the vault 111 turn right head towards the power line, and pass the Mole Rats. In that area you will find one. I found a man begging for water, another time I found a man selling a dog, another time I found a grave with a note on it, a ton of other things. I didn't know why this was happening but know I do. I just wanted to share it with you . Thanks for this video now I know I'm not going Crazy in finding thesis area's.

I never knew it was a random encounter, I thought the joke was that it was the worst possible location and he just didn’t care about the war.

One of the best things out of all this would be the accents of Fallout 4. You have the two Russian brothers in Diamond City, you have a "badass" accent (deep, can find a few DC security with the voice) and you have the Bostonian, Along with the ghouls raspy voice

My favorite was a dog that walks past me, barks, and keeps on keeping on. I looked for that one dude who sells his dogs but he wasn't anywhere to be found. Just a dog trekking the Commonwealth.
I remember finding Mac just outside of Vault 111 on my first play through. I was really confused when I couldn't find him on my next one.
I play this game so much and I yet to come across a good many of these.

The spot by CPL is a random encount hot spot. I've had boss Mr. Gusty's appear. Legendary super mutants. Even the raider chef
Both times I've come across the funeral, I've gotten attacked by roaming raiders. It's interesting because all the funeral attendees are armed, so the fight didn't last long.

I hadn't realized there were 'hot spots' for random encounters. The worst one I ever ran into was just a normal roaming monster, but it was a Legendary Deathclaw that attacked me right at the first stop on the Kellog trail. So there I was, with Valentine, Dogmeat, and me (low-level); none of us able to even make a dent in it's health bar.. Obviously I died very quickly, but unfortunately I had JUST quicksaved before I saw the beast so I was right back in the fight as soon as the game reloaded. Didn't want to lose so much progress by going back to the last real save, so I ended up running away towards the Diamond City gates, turning occasionally to take a potshot and keep the critter interested in me. Between the security guards, the turrets, and a caravan that was in the area I was able to just run inside and let them take care of the Deathclaw for me. :D
Oh, crap. Now I feel guilty. Mac's bar showed up for me at a random encounter location nearby the Car Stonehedge location. I didn't realize I missed a random encounter until much later in the game and remembered I had let a guy named Mac be bait for the Super Mutant Behemoth. I killed it, but Mac's bar is now sitting in the middle of nowhere with no owner...
God I fuckin love ness’s stance and accent, her stance reminds me of this image I have from the behind the scenes video for act 1 of hlvrai when wayne pauses the video while in the bathroom post-disaster

I was playing Fallout 4 while listening to this, and right as you mentioned Skrap Rat and her scavengers, I ran into them in my game.
There's an encounter where raiders take hostages and execute them before you're able to get to them. It was near a bridge, near covenant I think

I found Smiling Larry once. But after buying from him i realsized he wasnt one Stocktens caravans and killed him.

The Scribe is voiced by Jim Cummings. His voice sounded super familiar so I looked it up.

I actually encountered the woman with radiation poisoning asking for radaway in a recent playthrough. Strangely enough though . . . she was a ghoul.

I ran into Mac and his bar in the middle of a road near a forested area while running from a deathclaw or yao gui, can't really remember what it was. I do remember he got steam rolled before I got to talk to him or figure out what the hell he was doing there.
8:06 my first ever random encounter in fallout 4. When i first experienced it i thought it was scriped. Tried to find duke in the same place on my 2nd playthrough. Came back to this vid for the nolstalgia since i love the atom cats and im getting back into fallout 4

I remember I was playing my game when I stumbled on some raiders or something in the forest, but when I went to loot them one of their body's had landed an a ring of tires that held a bunch of naked body's. I have never been able to find it sence, nor do any of my friends believe that it was part of the game. They think it was one of my mods and honestly I hope it was.
