Back at E3 last year they actually said that we won't see the Pokemon Switch game until late 2018 or even 2019 and because they didn't know how good/bad the Switch would sell they were very cautious and didn't start development early - so it's totally reasonable for the "core" games to come out late 2019.

Here's my timeline: Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee, Gen 8, Diamond & Pearl remakes, Gen 9 (with 3rd version), Black & White remakes, then the ultimate Pokémon game. All regions, National Dex, and everything else. "End" it with a bang

I want a jhoto remake
It would be interesting if they made a game with just 3 or 4 regions. For example, Kanto, Jhoto, and Sinnoh, because they are all on the same continent. If they released a game like that every 5 generations or something it could build to a game with 10 or more regions later.
EM11212 I'm just imagining that since we have 807 Pokémon, separate the remaining 193 (from 1000) in half between 2 Generations, while getting the remaining remakes. 1000 is a good ending number

They weren't challenging and were annoying after some time.
Let go of old habits, everyone wants to see "THE POWER OF A HOMECONSOLE POKEMON" - you finally get pokemon on the overworld, no random bullshit and everyone is - "WHY IS MY 20 YEAR OLD MECHANIC GONE UUUUGGGHH".
There is also a fact that there are only 151 pokemon in this game, but i'll get it anyways.

I can live without them for these games, Colloseum and XD didn't have them and were still great besides they'll return in Gen 8

Great video. Good catch on the Go Park details. Very few people have taken the time to consider what Go Park's function will be in full and it very well could just be a place to play with them. It would be interesting to see how transferring Pokemon will work considering the Go Pokemon only have 2 moves while Let's go Pokemon have 4.

Blue One Green One well... that really just adds difficulty, but we don't know because there is grass and the wandering ones are Pokemon go style and others in the grass are like normal

Blue One Green One Just because they didn’t show you fighting wild Pokémon doesn’t mean that is completely removed from the gameplay.
They probably just changed the capture system so that you’ll throw the Pokéballs like in GO.
They probably didn’t show the trainer fighting wild Pokémon because they thought it was obvious that they wouldn’t do such a drastic change.

I just realised how are you meant to train your pokemon if there are no wild battles because trainer batttles aren't always enough especially if you are training more than 6 pokemon

It's been confirmed that captures will earn you exp for all pokemon in you party

These are inbetween spin-off and main-series, so I consider them semi-spin-offs
I would play it for the experience but I think that it’s a hybrid spin-off/main series game and I feel the next game in 2019 are going to go back to the main core game due to the battling features feel a bit unusual and (maybe) won’t be a part of any main online competitions

I have mixed feelings on this title. I love some features like Co-Op, the graphics, the pokemon follow feature, and more. I don't like the Pokemon Go features such as NO LONGER FIGHTING WILD POKEMON (just throwing pokeballs), strange add on and quirks like the Pokeball controller or pokemon go connection, etc. So, I'm both excited and scared of the new games.

I hate Alola region personally, not the next gen but the Alolan versions of existing pokemon with different types for example the dragon type exeggutor was an absolute joke, what the hell is that thing! some of them looked like they were an aftermath of the nuclear radiation.

I'm on the fence. It looks awesome but I really wasn't a fan of Pokemon Go and stopped playing it very quickly after it came out. I'll wait for more info first before I get too hyped

Katherine Simpson The point is, either that Pokemon Lets Go happen in the past (as the same as OG yellow time) or something like in the future thing (some sort of "sequel" and not a remake of OG yellow).
The fact that team rocket still exist as normal Team Rocket (not Rainbow Rocket) means Red didnt beat them yet which mean this game happen on OG yellow time (past)
Red will always beat normal Team Rocket. If he fails, as USUM has stated, that Team rocket will be Rainbow Rocket instead which is in this case is not true (because they r still Normal team rocket)

I hated Go when it release and I hate Go now, so the fact that this game is pretty much pokemon Go in the switch is a bummer to me, speacially the way you capture monsters.

You probably still get experience from catching a Pokemon, like in the more recent generations. (I think that was introduced in gen 5 or 6?)

With alolan forms being in the game, I wonder if the stones needed to evolve them will also be in the game like the ice stone needed for vulpix and sandshrew

Bit of a random thing I noticed, but if you look at graphics much, look at the shadows in the overworld. It's amazing how accurate they are.
Im kinda mixed because it looks good, but it's basically a glorified Pokemon Go on the switch with Pokemon Yellow aspects.The no battling (wild Pokemon) and Kanto in general for me gets boring and is worn out and kills the hype for me. I'll still play it just because it's Pokemon, but I'm going to put my hype into gen 8 next year

Dude have you not worked it out?!?!? Every generation they add a #2 game and then every 2nd game they make a remake. Example: Gen 4 - Johto Remake. Gen 5 - A #2 to the story. Gen 6 - Hoenn Remake.Gen 7 - #2

on the point about what go park is, in the press conference, they mentioned that someone was stuck on yellow so they sent over a pokemon from go to help them out, that implies you can battle with the go mons

I had to watch the video twice. The first time I was distracted by the lights. And the second time to watch the actual video.
1. The incredible amount the Pokemon Company is flogging the first generation of Pokemon is honestly VERY annoying. WE GET IT! POKEMON GO WAS A HIT! But NOT because it started off for generation 1 Pokemon only but because AR gaming was a new and interesting concept.
2. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of the first generation myself. I mean, there were definite gems of Pokemon in the original 151, Dragonair, Charizard, Staryu and Mew being SOME of them but let's be real, there were MANY trash Pokemon. Grimer, Muk, Voltorb, Electrode, Golbat were so badly and lazily designed... they are nothing compared to future generation designs.
3. I get how many people keep asking for reboots of old and popular franchise (Since HOW long have fans wanted Digimon Adventures to reappear or how everyone wanted Misty and Brock come back on the anime or even a FRIENDS reboot with the original cast) but this is seriously getting out of hand.
After Pokemon Go, Sun and Moon were the first hit on reminiscing Kanto again, what with all the Alolan forms being exclusive to Gen 1 Pokemon and the Rainbow Rocket storyline. Then, they make Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon which are BASICALLY THE SAME GAMES but a bit tweaked.
AND NOW, THREE MORE GAMES ADVERTISING GENERATION 1 POKEMON EXCLUSIVELY!! (Pokemon Quest too)
I mean... WHAT?! GET OVER IT ALREADY! THERE ARE SIX MORE GENERATIONS !! They deserve love too...
I just HOPE The Pokemon Company gets over their "milk the cow till it dries" phase for Generation 1 because I'm really starting to dislike Pikachu EVERY FREAKING WHERE.

Alola forms should have been from Amy gens not just first. I mean these games are not even REAL games no wild battles? Only the first 151? Why?! It is just worse and makes no sense! I agree with you as well. I don't mind Generation I (other than stuff like people who want Kanto to return, etc.). People have to remember that Pokemon isn't *just* Kanto and the original 151 Pokemon. I know Generation I is important (since it's the first generation), but *not everyone was introduced to Pokemon with the first generation.*

I have Mew in Pokémon GO. Got it last night and I was ecstatic! Helpful tip, you get an unlimited amount of Pokéballs when you catch Mew, your AR has to be turned on which the game will let you know, and the last bit of advice I have is that Mew is invisible and you can only see it when the ball catches it.
I,m can not wait for these games. Some of the things that I wanted back from previous games are back for this one such as: Walking with your Pokemon
