Great review! This car is really impressive! Looks like pure quality. Sadly that it is not sold in Europe. I have to disagree with the 300C comparison. This is way up market.

Nice one, and nice car... If only they done suicide doors! I think I saw you testing it the other day. I did a double-take as it was the first time I'd seen in real life or even pix. I noticed the cool door handles right off.

The best car review I've seen.
Great job Shahzad. One of the best reviews I have seen in quite some time. Plus I really liked the car wonderful interiors, just blown away by the innovative features. Plus the two cameras on the outside ( one on top and the other on the RHS of the rear door ) gave some really amazing shots.

Ashtrays are for the Asian market, and in the spirit of a true Continental, the growly engine and blasphemous "turbo" lag is an embarrassment to Continental. This car wasn't made for America. Should have been offered with a V8 and optional V12. Update- Saw this car on the freeway first time here in California last week and it was unimpressive. Much too small with no presence, easily mistaken for a car half its price. Money would probably go better towards a gently used Maybach. Despite my poo poo remarks, your review is very good and thorough!

I’ve owned both and a 300 is no where near as nice as this car! I’d put it on par with a loaded E class with a bit more leg room. The doors are very solid and the overall quality of the interior along with ride quality blows the 300 away!

I have been a fan of Ford/Lincoln/Mercury for year's. I noticed you are in Dubai, I eould like to know what car buyer's in the UAE think about the Lincoln Continental. Since people who live in the UAE are car nuts.
M W S early days since it's only just been launched here. But it's pricey and not a V8 so that could work against it. And Lincoln is not as strong a brand as it once was. On the hand market attitudes are starting to change now and we've seen a lot of interest in the Continental from our readers/viewers. It will be interesting to see how the take up is in the next few months. It's a great car, with charisma and style, and deserves to succeed.

Only the black label edition gets these cool headlights otherwise you get the normal ones :-(
You can get it on other trims if you get the technology package.

Sorry, but you're both incorrect! The 2017 Lincoln Continental Premium LED Headlights aren't available for the lower end Premiere & Select "trims". Only the Reserve model (which is positioned a step below the Black Label) offers the Premium LED Headlights either as a standalone option or with the optional Luxury Package. And lastly, the Premium LED Headlights aren't included in the technology package.
