Agreed. But I just don't see it selling much. Unfortunately, it doesn't wear a 3-pointed star or a blue and white logo with three letters. And in this day and age, luxury car buyers are more concerned about buying a badge than buying a luxury car.
Juan Zingarello I am a previous Jag, Benz and BMW guy....but, this is on my list. I want to support American if they can give us what we want. I think they are finally getting it.
Would have appreciated a comment or two about certain features (blind spot sensor, etc.) that came with the car. Also from the driver's perspective, how it handles, one's own viewpoint . . . objectively put.
Nice looking car. One of the few Ford products I like. Not sure it's worth 77 grand, though. I've seen a few Continentals lately on my daily commute, so I guess someone is coughing up the money.
I actually haven't seen any of the other models on the road yet, only the highest priced ones with the nicer wheels and trim like this one. From the pictures, the lower line models look okay, although the standard wheels don't fit quite as well with the elegant body design, in my opinion. But in person they may look fine. As I mentioned previously, I am seeing quite a few Continentals on the roads around San Antonio; of course, having the largest Lincoln dealer in the country right there in town helps!
seiph80 I don't like the fact that there is such a separation between the entry level and the top of the line. Why would I pay over $70K when another looks the same on the road for $50K or less?
$80k for a turbo 6 cylinder? I can't help but be reminded of the 1979 Mustang powered by a turbo 4 cylinder and the 1987 Turbo Coupe Tbird uggh, both completely forgettable cars. This setup doesn't seem very reliable or smooth in the long term, particularly for a Continental.
Wow. That blue interior is quite a nostalgia attack reminding me of the Lincolns, Cadillacs, Buick, and Chryslers from the 80s.
That's a Beautiful Lincoln
Just bought one yesterday, this is our 5 th Lincoln, one Mark VIII, and three town cars. This one rides better than any. Great car ..
Modern, yet old school in a good way. I like it.
Simply stunning indeed! No unnecessary chatter, just letting the car speak for itself! Quite Luxury indeed! Lincoln, what a luxury car should be..
That oleskool blue interior brings back so many memories
Lincoln got this one right 👌

Does the Lincoln badge light up and does it have the light door matts?
My dream car 2017 Lincoln continental
What version of the Lincoln Continental is that, the select, reserve, or the black label ? What's the price of it also?
such a beautiful car!
I am not a blue or burgundy car guy....but, Lincoln got this right.

What trim level is this ??

David M agreed, but what about the ones, the Premier, starting in the mid 40s? curious to know your thoughts

Excellent point, and one I, too, have thought about. In fact, this is a problem with most of the "premium" brand cars, in my opinion.
fair enough
What’s the price??!!??

King Julian not $80K..
This has 400 HP and V8s are a dying breed
The Continental base 3.7L V6 non-turbo engine is very-reliable, same engine found in police and taxi cars.
