    Thank you for this! I had rose gold highlights for a while and I loved them, but I decided I want my hair to be rose gold overall, with a shadow root. I was a little nervous about lightening my very dark hair to be light enough to take the rose gold color, but seeing this video made me feel a lot better. In addition to my reference photos for the color I'm hoping to achieve, I might talk to my hairstylist about some of the things you mention in this video.

      Yes I agree with you Denise! Jamie you’re a doll and thank you so much for sharing your tips, tricks and techniques. I feel like I struggle with balayages and especially when I do a root touchup and this video has helped me so much. I’m here thinking “why didn’t I think of that!” Haha! I tend to overthink things and always second guess myself. Will definitely try the foilyage method on my 16 yr old daughter! She will be my guinea pig😌 Love your work Jamie! Love your ig, love your UA-cam...I just heart you 😍

    It looked amazing, I wish I can do something like this with as much confidence. You added conditioner to the Color for toning, that's something new to learn. Usually we add a 10 or a 20 volume for tonning. How does just a conditioner help?

    • @starmane8840
      @starmane8840 4 роки тому +1

      She added conditioner because she’s toning with direct dyes (non oxidative color). Direct dyes don’t use developer at all. The conditioner is just to dilute the shade of direct dye and loosen it up. Hope that makes sense.

    Hey! Loved the video! If I get this done, what would I have to do to maintain the colour? When would it dissapear/need a touch up? Also would this be super damaging to my hair?? Is there anything I can do to ensure my hair stays healthy and shiny after dyeing it this way?

      I would recommend finding a stylist in your area on instagram and setting up a consultation with them! I don't give out advice because so much of it depends on what we see in person. Thanks for watching!

    Hi. How are you jamie? I'm your fan from Argentina! I'm a studient. How long does it take to apply the dye and all the folios? What oxygenated water did you use? Thank you! Kisses

    Hi Jamie gorgeous work. It takes time to do big job like this . Just curious what to charge . I live in Ireland so euros but it's a lot of work and hard to charge too much in small town

    • @JamieDana

      It totally depends on the demand and the prices your town will pay! I would charge $250-$350 for this.

    Do you recommend permanent color for grays? I’m scared to bite that bullet because I feel like I can never go back to demi... (I am not a professional, just enjoy doing my own hair)

    Beautiful beautiful beautiful!!!! 😍😍😍 just one question.. I’m curious why you didn’t do the foilyage first, rinse, then apply the root color, then apply the rose gold after so both process at the same time? Was it because you wanted the darker color blended down further inside the foils? TIYA!

    • @JamieDana
      @JamieDana  6 років тому

      For me, this process is much more simplified that way, but there are so many ways to get the same result!

    How long will the rose gold last in the hair ?
    I have a client wanting this. But I’ve never done this color. How many weeks until she needs to come back to refreshen the rose color.
